Probably has a decent fish and chip but we tried the burgers and aside from the homemade bun being good, the meat was over cooked. The fries aren’t the best either. Breads, cookies and pies are amazing but any puff pastry with “cool whip” (not fresh cream) isn’t. Just for the service I Will try it again but not my #1.

Good prices with in house baked goods. Got fishcakes and beans there. Beans were under cooked and cold. Fish cakes were not my favorite. If i ate them blindfolded i wouldnt be able to identify them as fishcakes. You get what you pay for i guess.

Waited over 20 minutes to even get menus, and we eventually had to ask a waitress to give us some. We asked for water for our table and were not given any. The food was good, albeit unspectacular. Hot chicken sandwich would have been better if it was not filled with chunks of cartlidge. The poutine, however was very good. Based on what I have heard about this establishment, I would assume that this experience was a one-off, since the place was absolutely packed and people seemed to be enjoying themselves. I can't end this review without mentioning that the pastries we got to go were outstanding. Cream puffs were on point????????

Pretty good spot! Good prices, terrific staff! Food was a mixed bag, some stuff very good, others a little dry... Only small food complaints though. I would easily recommend them and go back again. The fish my sister had was really good and loved the bread pudding!

After waiting too long for our food the waitress bought it to us...telling us they accidentally had our order in take out so she had to put it in plates for us... Our orders were cold and sloppy???? Very disappointed In the end they gave us our meals free..but we had to pay for our drinks... In all honesty they should not have served that to anyone ????

Stay away. After expressing our displeasure of the food quality to their staff, they promised that the owner would call back the next day to talk about our request for a refund. After a few days, we've decided to write this review. 1) our food was soggy immediately coming off the fryer. 2) the food was incredibly bland 3) the fries are predictably from a food supplier with no special coating or flavour 4) many people speak about how great this place is, but if you have ever had fish and chips before you'll immediately be disappointed. 5) by the owner not calling us back, it speaks to the staff's ability to make a decision and the owners ultimate priorities 6) the best way I could describe this food is if you were to reheat fried seafood the next day in a microwave

A group of friends rode out to your restaurant a few days ago. I had a double bacon cheese burger, it was delicious and very filling. I also purchased two pies to take home to my family, the crust was light and flakey and the filling sweet but not overpowering. The staff however were somewhat rude like they were in a hurry or didn't want to answer questions about their products.

Stay away! We ordered fish and chips and a seafood platter. The fish and seafood were not fresh at all. It had a very strong smell and tasted even worse. The flower dusting had no taste or flavour. The fries were blend and semi cold and mushy. When we tried to address the issues with restaurant the cashier had no authority over refunds and the owners never called us back. It shows the lack of customer appreciation and service. I'm not sure why this place gets high reviews when the quality of the food is so poor and the service is even worse. Please don't reward businesses with poor practices and standards.

This is my favourite place to eat in the Yarmouth area. Good solid home cooking everytime. "Lightly" breaded, never greasy, always fresh. It's also a Bakery with a huge selection of pastry, cakes, cookies... the pie is amazing. It always smells heavenly. Reasonable prices, very friendly staff. Wide selection on the menu.

There were 4 of us, mine was the special haddock & fries and it was good. The other 3 all had lobster dishes but very unsatisfied as there was very little lobster actually next to none only sauce, very disappointing as I was visiting from Ontario and they took me there because their previous visits were so great.

This place has an old time charm. Wonderful ambience, absolutely lovely staff and the tips about ordering from their menue is almost all the time spot on. I suggest go with what they suggest. Another tip is to be super hungry as the portion sizes are absolutely bang for the buck. Their sweet menu is absolutely lovely. Cheers!

Everything I've ate in this restaurant is excellent but I'm here to talk about pizza ,pizza there is also excellent taste is perfect the toppings and cheese go all the way out to the edge of the crust and the crust is very soft even the next day highly recommend this spot definitely go there again people there are very nice portion sizes are very large and price is also five star

For those visiting the area the address is in Hebron on route 1, not on Main St in Yarmouth. Worth the short drive to get there. I like locally owned and operated. Excellent seafood and lots of it, enough to take home for another meal. Great service, extensive bakery selection. Highly recommended.
