Bought two chicken from the deli, they were raw disgusting, now son is sick unable to move etc Salmonella? Yes money back but health back, deli doesn't even care Suggested to give it to the dogs the answer I wouldn't give it to the dogs ! But they give it to humans!! This deli is so bad, it's the fourth time food went back. NEVER get you what you order the you asked Disgusting or in this almost killing!! Stay away from it unless you wanna die!!

Went late night around 10. Cashiers were so rude and kept staring at me like they wanted me out of there. I only went to pickup a quick item. I understand going in close to close may be an inconvenience for them but if they are open they should be friendly to whomever steps in the last 30 mins before close.

Rather disappointing for a larger grocery store. Very very little with regard to fresh cut meat or fish. The only good thing about this store is the Deli Meat counter. The precooked food is bland and tasteless. Poor layout.

The store doesn't usually have the advertised specials I want. Tonight it was looking for the advertised Sun Maid raisin. So I went to Basics & ended up saving a dollar for the same product verses not getting the advertised product & paying more. I myself really hate the plastic bag propaganda, I would rather have a corn starch compostable plastic bag any day of the week, than a nasty paper bag that does not work well. Reusable bags are unsanitary! The first rule of retailing, give the customer what they want, not what the noisy few demand.

This is my local grocer and often has great specials on meats such as tenderloin or prime rib. The offer pretty much everything the superstores carry with decent prices. The store is clean and bright. Sadly they took away public access to washroom, as now you have to go to front counter to get a key.

Great prices decent customer service but sometimes they close like 15 min early and if ive just raced there after working 8 hours and didint get to close early cause thats not right id expect to be able to run in a grab two things not get a locked door just because someone wants to get home quicker. So you could say 9am till about 11:40 = 45.

They’re lacking a lot of product that they used to have. Every time I go to get meat there really isn’t very much of a selection if any at all. They also stopped carrying the Jamie Oliver frozen entrees. Why? It looks like Sobeys is slowly closing.

Just went there and used your new self check out. Awful!!!!!!! Compared to other competitors yours is the worst. Everytime you scan something someone has to come over to clear the error. The other part is your groceries are much more than other grocery store. On a positive note. We do prefer your meat section to anybody elses

Had to wait more than 20 minutes in line at customer service with just one customer returning something in front of me. When that transaction was finished the person serving her just vanished without saying a word to me. I just turned to the other customer and said "Well I guess I won't be getting any service today" Very frustrating. I left the store. Customer service level on that day was at a -10.

I'm not from the area so it was a bit intimidating at first to end such a large store. But once I started shopping I realized they were petty well organized and had everything I needed. Plus self check out is always so easy! I also noticed they had quite a lot of sale items which... come on.... everyone loves a good sale! ???? I definitely recommend!

Sobeys in Woodstock is a clean, nice grocery store in the north end of town. The north end doesn’t get much love from retail so it’s nice to have them near by. They are the anchor store for this plaza. Te layout is nice and they now have handy, easy to use self checkouts. This use to be the only business in Woodstock that sold Chocolate Chip Bagels however they don’t anymore and I have to import them from London now. This place sells Hayter’s Turkey Farm products which is great as they are awesome. The staff are friendly, the store layout is nice. There’s hand sanitizer wipes just inside the door if you want to wipe down your cart. Nice store.

Probably the best bakery section in town if you want fresh baked buns or bread. Has local products, like Hayters. Prices are so-so. The staff are kinda unpleasant which is why I had to give 3 stars.

Stood at hot food takeout for about 5 min. while two staff in area waited on customers in the deli section. Left store and drove to Zehrs and was served promptly, also bought rest of groceries l need. Customer service is important and is a huge factor as to where l shop.

Sobeys has definatly changed ! The bakeshop used to be the bomb..but I dont buy anything there anymore ! Its never fresh...I have always bought our Grandkids birthday cakes there faithfully.they were always so fresh !! Now you really have to check dates because they are close to the expiry date ! I go there for a few things but not much anymore !!

Great store! Awesome employees. The pre cut veggies and fruit were by far the freshest I’ve seen. I bought chicken last night to cook for dinner tonight and it smells horrible! It doesn’t expire for another two days. I’ve never had this happen before. I really want to return it but who does that??

When the deals are on they rock! The rest of the time most items are overpriced but in general sobeys has very fresh produce and meats which I do enjoy and a great item selection. Their new frozen gluten free section is also a wonderful addition and i love that they are always bringing in new local items.
