We have always had good luck with buying their homemade lasagna until the one we bought on August 3/2021. We cooked it in the oven for 45min to a hour, but when we cut into it the sauce was a watery mess. It all ran out of the slice and left nothing but noodles with a little cheese. Very disappointed as it was for my daughter's birthday.

Desserts are great however customer service was poor. Waited at counter for 20 minutes before anyone helped me. I was the only one in store for first 10 minutes then other customers were helped ahead of me.

Great food, great service. They just remodeled so they have more choices and a better layout. Easier to find things. They have a hot bar for lunch or dinner and deli and a bakery for all the yummy deliciousness. Highly recommend the tiramisu cake ????!

Really wonderful pastries and friendly staff but it would be nice if they served coffee. Nothing fancy...regular or decaf in a to-go cup. I also noticed they sell soda that requires a bottle opener and they're lacking one for customers to use

Such a difference from past visits a few years ago....when you buy a cheesecake and it is much lighter in color inside than outside? And a crust formed? It is NOT fresh. I was so disappointed!!

Bought a Tiramisu and 2 other desserts. They were pretty awful, the creme is extremely thick and heavy. They all tasted pretty bitter and tasteless. It's a real shame because it looks like there are so many choices, maybe we got unlucky but I wouldn't go there again. I'm not trying to be rude but I've had better Tiramisu from the grocery store. We ended up tasting the deserts and throwing them out.

This place has been around for a long time and is definatly a staple in the Windsor community. My folks have been coming here for years and turned me onto this little bread and sweet shop. Some of their items can be a bit pricey but the cost of everything especially breads have gone up. They have a good variety of sweets to choose from and their bread is good as well from What I hear. I have only purchased sweets. I will let you know when I grab some bread. They are Friendly and fast service.

They make all fresh bakery products on promises. Parking outside is the problem. Come earlier in the morning, will be no hassle. Watch for parking guy they're fast to give you a parking ticket when you forget to pay. By the way before 9 am parking is free.

I have bought things at this bakery for years, but was very disappointed today. I picked up a ricotta pie for a party that I ordered ahead of time. It simply was not up to standard. The crust was heavy and tasteless The ricotta filling was terribly over baked and dry. There are other options for bakeries.

Every paczki day I go buy a lot of them from this bakery, they’ve always been good, but this year they were VERY CHEAP on the filling. Very disappointed with the quality. Almost no filling was in all 12 that I bought. I didn’t fight a blizzard and wake up early to pay for dough with a drop of filling.. will be trying another bakery next year

I am ecstatic that this bakery has reopened! After reading an article in the Detroit Freep announcing it’s closure, I was sincerely saddened. So much so that I immediately contacted the bakery (via an email listed on the Italia site) to confirm. I recieved an email reply stating that after 50+ years in the kitchen, the baker had decided to retire her apron. My heart sank. Italia is a wonderful Italian bakery, with wonderful offerings, and its goods had become an important part of my family’s holiday traditions. Ah, but lo and behold! Soon word reached me that the grandson had decided to reopen the business himself. ???? WONDERFUL! GRAZIE MILLE! *One last thought, if you want to choose from the largest assortment of freshly baked breads, come early! They sell out very quickly, especially around the holidays.*

When I come to Windsor to visit family this place is a must visit. From great lunch ideas to pastries to pantry items, you have to stop in. Fresh and delicious. The Eclairs are so pretty, marble like. We had Arancini for lunch, the size of a baseball ????and Cannolis a must and Tiramisu ????Actually we have a bag full of snacks.???? I saw huge deli sandwiches bring prepared as well. Super impressive. Will be back, check it out !

We pre-ordered a black forest cake for our friends' 10th wedding anniversary as a surprise. The staff was so helpful in keeping it secret while we all browsed over the amazing selection of fresh baked goods. Although we didn't get anything from the buffet, it all looked and smelled delicious. We bought a variety of baked goods: artisan bread, pizza bread (which turns out is just bread made from pizza dough, not filled with anything like we thought) and Italian candies and pastries. The cake was positively divine and the perfect end to our dinner at Spago across the street. We will definitely be returning the next time we are in Windsor.

not happy with what we got. i've been looking for tiramisu and my husband figured Italia Bakery must have some since they are Italian. He brought two pieces of that home and a Napoleon. The bottom layer of the Tiaramisu tastes bitter and the cream in it isn't sweet enough. the Napoleon is awful. half of it didn't even have any cream in it, it was just hard dry pastry. :( wont' be going there again.

Great little authentic Italian deli, bakery and grocery store. A lot of more difficult to find items can be found here, like Gnocchi made from cheese as opposed to potato. Their desserts are far above average. Overall a great little place, and my main shop for all my Italian needs.

The staff is very friendly and the store is the cleanest it has ever been. My only complaint is the bread isn’t as great as it used to be. I find the mini ciabattas to be spongy soft. The Nona bread also doesn’t have the same texture it once did. Instead of the crust being crispy and firm it too has a sponge like consistency. No one in the city will beat Mancini’s for pastry I just wish we could have the old bread back. Just some feedback and while I know it to have been better the bread is still ok. You won’t go wrong here.

The arancini here are unbelievable haven't had any this good since I was in Italy, the bread is so good along with the fresh food for a quick lunch, we have called ahead before we travel from Cleveland to order the peaches and the arancini just so we can take them back. Love this little bakery.

This past Valentine's Day I purchased Tiramisu for my wife as it is her favourite desert, however we were both disappointed. Believe it was due to the lady figures not soaked long enough or lacked enough ingredients or both.
