Well...HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE but it was still good... atmosphere was at 5 star service was a 5 star quality of food was a 5 star BUT Murphy's law; everything than can go wrong will go wrong. Ordered a tea...they didn't have it...ordered the biscuit breakfast sandwich they didn't have biscuits or sausage. Server was kind enough to compensate with bacon instead of sausage and a waffle instead of a biscuit...BUT forgot the cheese....and brought out the wrong side salad. It wasn't until after that I noticed... She offered to make me another one but at this point I was over it and just wanted to leave.

This is the best cheesecake I’ve ever had. We celebrated our anniversary at home this year due to covid and we got a little treat from here on recommendation and we were not disappointed. The cheese cake batter is creamy but not loose and it’s a thick slice of cake but it’s not too dense. It’s perfect.

The girl who owns this place is super friendly and patient (i had a lot of food requests while there for hours studying). The food is AMAZING - I've only had vegan options but I'm sure all of it is good! The atmosphere is fun, they have WiFi and a bunch of outlets. The tables are perfect if you're there to study or play the many games they have! 10/10 recommended ????

Great place to go and try out some tabletop games. Staff are eager to teach you, if you have questions. You go in for games and keep going back for the food and drinks. I failed to mention the desserts...I don't crave sweets. I rather have something spicy but when I want sweets, I head there. This place is a must!

Wonderful! I decided I wanted to go here for my birthday dinner with my family, and I wasn't disappointed. After following their wonderful Facebook, I wanted to take the plunge. I should have gone sooner. The food was wonderful. Hot coming to our table, and the drinks were fast. Tons of games to choose from and the walls are full of cute nick nacks. The food is phenomenal. Simple menu had the kettle chips to stay and they are cooked beautifully and the spicy ranch is perfect with just a touch of spice. The special was pulled pork Mac and cheese flatbread and it was so filling and delicious. The meat was tender and beautifully cooked and The Mac and cheese is excellent. The board game selection is huge and the staff are extremely friendly. Anal seating area but it's very cozy and welcoming. Will definitely be returning!

An amazing location, we've been several times. If you like board games, this is the place to go. If you like good food, and good coffee, you should try it this weekend! The menu has several vegetarian options, and most others can be easily adapted. Try the root vegetable chips! Also, in case you weren't aware, the primary attraction of this place is the games. If you're a new fan of board games, or if you've been playing for years, they're guaranteed to have something you'll like.

Food and drinks tasted fantastic, but as others have said the price to portion ratio could be better. I understand that there's a higher price to be paid for from scratch products made with good ingredients but a $30 bill for a small meal and two hot drinks is hard to look at. This price doesn't include the board game rental fee either. Attentiveness of staff could be improved as well, was quick to leave after members of our group asked questions before they could place an order or ask a follow up, but it was filling up in there so can't entirely blame them for that. The only thing I wish could be actually improved upon though is the size of the tables. Trying to play a board game and eat a meal on those tables is a bit of a challenge depending on what you're playing. With drinks, food, the water bottle, and salt/peper/sauce things the tables got very cluttered.

Super cute cafe. The food is absolutely fantastic and the staff is great. It was really busy when we went and the waitress was a little late getting to grab our order but we didn't mind at all and she gave us a discount anyway. They have a pretty great selection of board games for all ages and group sizes. 10/10 would recommend. It may be pricey for the food but it's delicious. And if you don't want to eat it's only 5$ to play games for as long as you want.

It's a cool place, but we didn't enjoy our latest visit. Getting there after 9 and ordering food and drinks, (which are quite good) we would have appreciated a heads up that it was closing at 10pm. Instead we were told in a slightly rude way that we couldn't stat a game by a young taller guy with glasses (we'd only had time to teach a friend how to play one game) and all still had food and drink left. No one told us to take our time and enjoy our food, quite the opposite. Shutting all the lights down and window shades without saying a word to us really felt like a pretty clear "get out". Then we all got charged the game fee at the register. 15 bucks to teach someone a game, rush our food and drink with no warning? Not cool guys. I really like this place, the food is top notch but you guys dropped the ball here. It ruined our planed game night and left a pretty bitter taste with the full charge on the game rental (you could have gave the half price since we didn't "play as long as we liked") Im not sure that any of us will be back.

The food is expertly prepared and delicious but my group had arrived famished and most found the menu lacking full sized dinner options. The side of chips portion did nothing to bolster the modest meal sizes. When we looked to the starters for something to share the options were limited there also. A generous group portion of the side chips or popcorn tossed in seasoning would be a great addition for snacking during games nights. The games selection is extensive and the atmosphere is great if a bit loud. I can see room becoming an issue very soon as it gains popularity, so arrive early.

The games is pretty much the only good thing about this place. The waitress seemed to distracted with her phone rather than helping us at our table with orders, It wasn't that busy and it took well over 10min for a cup of coffee... And because it was a birthday party of over 10 people apparantly gratuity is included 18%... the food was okay, especially if you enjoy a salad drenched in a vinaigrette so badly it smelled like cough syrup.and tasted like it too. I will definitely NEVER return here.

I ordered Harry Potter cheesecake from this place for New Years. I would definitely mention that it was well presented and looked okay absolutely delicious… …but I wasn’t impressed by the taste unfortunately. It was all mostly sour with barely any sweetness in them, my husband and I couldn’t even finish all. Not sure if my particular order was somehow spoilt?? I see this bakery has good reviews so maybe we will try again other things and if I like that I will update my reviews. Until then 3 starts is just for looks and presentation but it was expensive for them not to taste great.

I've been to Wizards of Walkerville before, but I was recommended to Bad Witch Bakery by my friend who ordered the 4-slice cheesecake. And I've been hooked on Bad Witch ever since. Delicious treats, and some of the best milkshakes I have had the pleasure to try, and some amazingly well made and deliciously moist brownie-cookies that have me coming back for more frequently! I'm now on a first-name basis with the super cool and friendly owners and I'm not even ashamed! Please give this place a try if you're in the Erie St. area - you will not regret it, I promise!

Stopped in for lunch and absolutely was not disappointed. Sliders were incredible. Salad was super fresh and dressed perfectly. Didn't have the time to stop for a board game, but we've been for that purpose before. They've got just about any boardgame you could possibly think of. You can really tell they care about what they do, and it shows in everything they do. Strongly recommend: Chicken sliders and Machi Koro with friends :)

Oh my gosh, this is one of the best cheesecakes I have had. We sampled a number of different flavors. The salted caramel is one of my favorites. They have many different options and treats for you to try. The single size they have can easily serve two people - they are very rich, but good. The store is easily accessible. However depending on the time of day parking could be a challenge. It was a non issue when we stopped in.

Had a dessert date and game night on a Friday night. Was able to sneak in before the Friday night rush. Dessert was delicious: we had the Apple to Apples Pie-rogies (from the menu) and a shared a french toast bread pudding (a off-menu special for the day). The game selection was diverse - a great mix of mainstream and hobby games for all ages, as well as a decent variety of game genres (strategy, party, family and Euro games.) The restaurant itself was delightful - well lit and clean. Highly recommended.

I wasn't too impressed with the number of games they had mainly because I had been to similar place in Toronto. But I guess it will be an unfair comparison as the one in Toronto was a much bigger place. None the less, I am sure the collection could have been a little bit bigger than what it is. For $5 play as many games as you want and stay as long as you want, can't go wrong with that. I was disappointed with the quality and prices of the food. What I am trying to say is the prices could have been lower given the quality or the quality should have been higher given the price, either one.So the next time I'm there I'll probably just stick with a coffee.

Really enjoyed this bakery throughout the summer and actually became one of my favourites. unfortunately the last 3 times Ives left dissapointed. She opened during Thanksgiving and was busy making orders when I showed up and gave me attitude when i ordered a sundae and milkshake, like i was wasting her time. Don't open on days you're busy filling orders if you can't handle it. Poor service. Messed up my order. Also be advised ice cream is no longer being served this time of year for some reason. So just a heads up if you're going for ice cream it won't be available.

This is a great place for an awesome evening. The wonderful people who work there are so welcoming they make us feel like friends! My friends and I are regulars there, going at least once a week. The staff is really friendly and the food/drinks are delicious. The board games are in good condition and so far as I can tell, no missing pieces. The place was well kept and clean. I had a good time.

Great service and great food. I'm here at least once a week with friends and we love it. Update: This place has only gotten better. Best desserts in town, great food, and it's a perfect place to hang out of you don't want to host. There are board games for everyone, so even if you've never played any, you'll find something.

Pros: Cool environment with lots of different board games. Ordered the chicken sandwich, which was good. Cons: had a group of 6 and everyone was charged 18% gratuity. Only 3 people ordered food. Those who didn't order food were also charged the tip. Would have been okay, but service wasn't good. Never had refills on waters, etc.

It's a cute little place with a friendly atmosphere. They have a ton of Board games and card games for you to play, it's actually a bit overwhelming. You're charged $5 per person to play, but students get it for $2.50. The food I've had so far is really yummy, and everything on the menu sounds Good! The juices they offer are really tasty too! Whether you go to play the boardgames or not, it's still worth checking out!

Great little bistro/game cafe just up the street from us on Ottawa St. A good selection of both food and games for all types of palettes. Don't feel like you can't go if you don't want to play games. Great space and good food for it's own sake. Very accommodating menu for vegans, vegetarians and carnivores. We tried the Chicken and Waffles Sandwich & Mushroom Pot Pie. Also...SUSHI GO!

Oh man. Where to begin. I. LOVE. THIS. PLACE. first of all, it's crazy awesome that they have a kajillion games to play while you have coffee or tea or eat a bite. Also, EVERYthing I've eaten on the menu has been INCREDIBLE. Super fresh, super tasty and actually pretty fast too which is surprising for the quality!! I'm in love with this place. So so good!

Wide selection of games both board and cards. However the rooms were not set up comfortably and the service was mediocre at best. It took a very long time to get our food and drinks and they seemed very distracted and disorganized. The food was also very small for the price paid however it did taste fairly good.
