This is a 100% organic bakery that specializes more in bread and savoury items than in sweets, which were relegated to one part of a single display case and featured rather simple fare like scones, cinnamon rolls, muffins and cookies. Nothing too elaborate and nothing too... sweet, in fact. I would have liked more German baked goods, besides the bread and pretzel selection. -- "Mimi's Cake Tour"

Even though I didn’t take any food picture while i was there but let me tell you very honestly that they have so so so much of bakery goods that you will have hard time deciding on what you want to eat. Everything is freshly baked in brick oven so imagine the freshness and taste. For sure its not regular grocery store so prices are little on higher end. Not too too expensive though. I tried pumpkin spice latte which is very creamy and flavourful , a person next to my table was raving all about the yellow spice turmeric latte. Apple strudel i had just melted in my mouth and i am guessing that their all time famous is onion,rosemary,walnut bun as not only me but almost every other person bought it. They also have customized chocolates with engraving of thank you and happy birthday. Staff is very pleasing and helpful. You can use wifi and sit inside or outside on their patio which is like litle garden with benches to sit and eat. Clean bathroom. Baskets and dairy to purchase too. Homemade yogurt, dips and spreads can be purchased from here.

Not Tim Hortons and that is 10 stars in my book! Tim's Flash frozen? YUCK! ALPINE -> Fresh Coffee and fresh baked treats!! Not to mention all the fresh bread! If you are a tourist passing through Whitehorse, do yourself a favour and check out this place!

Hands down my favorite place in Whitehorse. Great quality of flour, vegetables and spices. I think that everything is vegetarian/vegan. Great German Rye bread. I don't think I have had better European style bread on the West coast. We loved their pizza and cheese sticks too. Nice and friendly staff. Energetic young people. Good vibes. Danke schön!

Deliciousness! I have lived in the Yukon my whole life and have only been to the bakery a handful of times. Let me share with you my review this time, as it won't be the last. -Friendly staff -Beautiful rustic atmosphere -Absolutely the most delicious bread, so fresh, so yummy & so affordable -Vegan Pizza was not bad! I am a lover of all vegetables( i wish there were more on it). Although i am not vegan and do enjoy gluten pizza each week, i would say this has got to be the most delicious vegan pizza i've ever had so far in my life ( first time ). I will be returning to this bakery more often now!

Just someone passing thru town, but we went here twice - a light lunch yesterday when it was crowded, and coffee and a danish this morning, plus 2 loaves of bread to go. Good food, nice vibe. Busy yesterday noon, but empty this AM - it's in town so maybe it's not busy when people are of from return - in any case, consider yourself lucky whether it's busy or quiet: good food.

We caught this bakery by accident shortly before their closing time and there was nothing left on the shelves which I think speaks volumes to how good their fresh made product is! I did notice that their fresh eggs were $9 which I thought was a little bit expensive (I am from Alberta where a dozen of farm fresh eggs are $4) but this could be the standard in the Whitehorse area for eggs. They had an excellent selection of jams, pickled items, spicy mustard, yogurt etc and while I did not look at the prices that closely, nothing else stood out to me as being unreasonable. I will definitely be trying to get my hands on a loaf of their bread while I am here in Whitehorse! Clearly it is something to talk about if they are selling out!

Nice cozy cafe in the heart of the town. The food is great although a bit expensive. The soup is an amazing choice for every tourist dealing with the North Canadian winter for the first time in their life. Pro tip: they do have wifi,which is not easily found at every place in that town.

Beautiful bakery with a great selection of tasty and nutritious food. Being swiss, we are often suspicious of any bakery claiming to be alpine or European, but can attest that this one feels legit. The torte linz especially was amazing and brought me right back to Switzerland!
