We just stopped in here for our first time for some coffee. This is a very comfortable, cozy, quaint coffee and breakfast house with absolutely delicious looking pastries. We promised ourselves to come back next weekend for breakfast. Can't wait!

This is an amazing coffee, brunch, lunch and hangout spot! Homey decor, lots of space, fairly quiet in the outer sitting area but then there's a boardwalk patio area if you want to be out in the sun! Chorizo Hash was very tasty and the spice of the sausage blended well with the garnishes and potatoes. Coffee was excellent!

Whatever you get is just delicious ???? great ambiance...specially in a good weather just sit outside with a friend or two and enjoy your drink in the sun (the best thing ever). You do have to struggle a bit to find parking since it's a popular spot. Also another thing they don't serve at your table you have to order at the cashier. Definitely my go to for a relaxing day ;)

Had only a limited menu due to COVID, but overall a great atmosphere. Coffee is great and the English Muffin was to die for. Also had to grab the amazing looking cinnamon buns for the road. If your looking for a great, but simple cafe this place is for you!

My friend was in there a few days ago and was treated horribly. They'll be hearing from her again. Businesses not honoring medical exemptions can be fined up to 75,000. This will be pursued for sure. No different than not serving a person in a wheelchair or somebody who's blind.

I have never tried something I didn't like and she has one of the best bakeries I have been too! Seating indoors and outdoors and there is always a lot of people there but the line moves quickly and very friendly staff and fellow patrons.

This place is awesome! Stopped here for a quick breakfast and was not disappointed. The staff are friendly and the food was delicious and not overpriced. The interior is so nicely decorated and comfortable. The front half is an enclosed patio. We had a breakfast bagel (side of fruit) and a granola fruit bowl. So yummy!

Always so Good. July 18/19 asked dad where he wanted to go for brunch on his 89th birthday? Dads reply, "Laura's! Dad had a Sour Cherry Scone, D had a Fresh Fruit Flan & I behond enjoyed the Chorizo & Hash topped with 2 perfectly pouched eggs. All made in house. Oh ya, the coffee's where damn good as well. Just got back from Laura's. I had the Hot Italian Panini, and was honestly disappointed. The sandwich was bland and oily, with not a hint of heat as the name would suggest. I'd planned on addressing this with the server or manager, but wasn't approached after the food was delivered. The place seemed busy though, so maybe they don't need to care. A ten dollar sandwich down the drain. Too bad. I'd heard good things!

I have been here twice now, staff is very friendly, however the portions are ridiculously small for their pricing and the baked goods are mediocre. I ordered a matcha latte the second time I went and it took about 10 minutes for them to make it even though it was the only thing the girl was making and when I received it it tasted like milk and nothing else. Pretty disappointed.

We had the opportunity to visit Laura’s coffee corner today and it is a hopping place. It was a very busy, but fast pace coffee shop, yet at the same time it was also welcoming and relaxing. We all had some sort of fruit smoothie and I must say it was very good. We loved the natural flavours with all the fresh fruit in it. It was a very short distance to walk to the beach. All the staff there was extremely friendly including the owner, Laura herself. We had the opportunity to meet a young man that was going around sanitizing the place. We believe his name is Trevor, and he did a amazing job at keeping all the tables clean and sanitize. Thank you Trevor for keeping the place safe with your hard work and having smiling eyes (we cannot see Trevor’s smile due to the masks, but we can see his friendly and smiley eyes). Keep up the good work, Trevor!! We definitely will be back for lunch next time and we hope to see you there!!

My wife and I attended this lovely place in the early months of its opening. Our daughter was still rocking in a car seat back then, and we sat in a cozy corner and indulged in a lunch and some baked goods. Absolutely phenomenal food, baked goods and service! If the written word isnt enough, I highly encourage you to try it out. I had work meeting in December 2019 and was truly impressed with the lineup that literally went out the door - a good 15+ feet away from the cashier!!

Walked into a great atmosphere, with lots of options. They have a nice array of pastries and desserts including cakes, cookies, pies, scones you name it. They also have more substantial food like sandwiches etc. Quite a few drink options also, I had a london fog which was made with Mighty Leaf tea. The london fog was good, could have been better but overall was satisfactory. I also tried the hot chocolate cookie which was probably one of the worst cookies I've had texture wise. It was super chewy and seemed like it was a day old cookie that had been sitting out. The flavours were nothing special at all, didnt taste like hot chocolate whatsoever. I had an apple strduel as well which was well made. My only complaint (other than the bad cookie) is no one acknowledges you when you're there. Even once at the counter the barista waited for us to say something rather than asking us for our order which was weird because I'm used to more direct service at cafés especially once im at the till. I should mention, there were about 4 people working. Overall a nice place to go for a quick bite, or an afternoon snack.

Too busy, cashiers are in a big rush to get the order, charge, and move you to the side, I ordered a cappuccino on a mug and they gave it to me in a paper cup, when I told the barista, she took it back and pour it in a mug, too rude, foam was gone as well as the figure they draw when they prepare it, never coming back.

This midget be the best place we visited during our trip to white rock. It was open early and had a huge selection of baked goods and breakfast choices. Everything was very spaced out and covid friendly. Clear line for enter and exit. Our food tasted great and really loved the sausages. It was a refreshing option to have avocado instead of meat too. They also promote pride by being a RCMP safe place which was great to see. Definitely would go back

Staff are friendly, take the time to remember your name and what you like to drink. Definitely going through some growing pains but those who know Laura are more than patient. The baking is delicious and all made from scratch. No prepackaged Nanaimo bars here!! Her soups are delish - particularly love her butternut squash soup. I'm here every day, and there is always a friendly customer to chat with. Highly recommend it!

Although food and treats are a little on the expensive side (1.75 for a small cookie) the coffee, food, and pastries are indeed home made style and good. It is a very busy corner and expect it to be packed and noisy, as seating is limited. Much better in the quieter hours. A unique experience and the two hour street parking nearby (parking is horrible in White Rock) make this place a four star.

Laura's is a great place, it's always busy so the three parking spaces make it hard to park around there but there is also street parking available. Today I had a cheese and ham scone which was really good. Personally for myself I like more of a quieter scene, whereas Laura's can get fairly loud and distracting if you want to sit down with a book or get some important emails done.

Their coffee is excellent and a bargain at $2.00. The pastries look very appetizing. The only criticism I would have is the slowness of getting the food out the door. Expect a more than average wait time to have your food order completed. Update: not much improvement over past 3 months. 35 to 40 minutes to get a toasted bagel and cream cheese. Most restaurants can give you a complete meal from the kitchen in this period of time. We are planning to bring our own pastries for our next coffee visit!

I am the first person to choose support of local cafes over big franchises-- Have heard good things about Lauras, so I went in several times now, each visit weeks apart. Each and every time, there are flies sitting on the baked goods, flying about the case with impunity. Each time I mentioned to the staff-- "I would have loved a brownie or cookie with my coffee...but there are flies in your baking case"???????? Staff: "Oh. Okay." (brushes fly away from baking and it just lands on another one. Shrugs and takes my $$.) This is the ONLY cafe I've been to where they have a baking case that is built so that it's not closed. Sorry but if every other cafe can purchase (or refit) their baking case so their product remains sanitary, why can't Laura's? I go to a different cafe for this one reason; can't refer people here until this "ick factor" is fixed, sorry.

Well this is the place to go for COFFEE unbelievable full bodied taste and organic, even the decaf has that nummy crema and full bodied flavor. All foods breakfast lunch and dinner and snacks to are all made on site soooooooo good. Soups with so much flavor and TLC. Customer service is great and everything is worth waiting for. This is a very popular place so there are times when one must wait a bit for the good things to come!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess that says it all even the prices are good. It can't be beaten.

Still a very busy place with dine-in snacks, lunch, and baked sweets. Laura's Coffee Corner is the best around, especially in the city of White Rock. Laura's rating is top for a reason, because she works hard, is very hands on when I saw her mixing one of her recipes yesterday. She's in the back as usual. Good food and kind staff. Their bakery selection continues to be yummy. I like the measurements they've taken for COVID times, and the service continues to be great despite the changes. Sometimes it can get too crowded though. I hope they're not requiring staff to work overtime and they're offering incentive for those who are working during this time.

A great little café. Tons of options as far as food and desserts go. This place would be great to go to for breakfast or lunch, lots of decent sized meals to choose from. Coffee and teas are good also. All the staff seems friendly and helpful, it is most likely because the owner is also seems super friendly and down to earth. While they do have vegetarian meals, they do not have any vegan options. (Except I think coffee and tea is vegan?) They also have lots of seating though it seemed like they were a bit limited on the power sources. So if you are going there to get some work done, be on the lookout for a power outlet before you sit down.

I think I’ve come to the conclusion this is the best cafe in white rock! Their atmosphere is so cute, always somewhat busy, the staff are super friendly, the treats are actually a reasonable price to other cafes... AND they change their pastries/desserts often so there is always something new to enjoy everytime I come in. I’ve tried and recommend the: chai latte, matcha latte.. (will be adding more here as I try other drinks)

When the old coffee shop burned I didn't find the new one until Justin Trudeau came to town. It is now my special Coffee Place. The Pastries are delightful, homemade from fresh ingredients. Try the cookies they are my favorite. Not too sweet. The Chili is the best I have ever had. Very community orientated with announcements about events and Laura actively supports the community, especially those affected by the Fire. As an Artist really appreciated the "floral out of the fire" painting. Appropiate. Well done Laura. Thank you for brightening my day.

I come here regularly and I absolutely love their food, their employees, and the other regulars. I've been able to host school-organized jazz jams in the cafe and I know that Laura uses the space for other events like the Blue Dot campaign and others. The food here tastes great as it all tastes homemade. They have many pastries and sandwiches and lots of options for dietary needs. This is an ideal spot for any meetings, hangouts, catch-ups, or jazz jams!

Laura's is full of tasty treats and kind people! I ordered a two tier chocolate cake for my friend's birthday, it was beautifully decorated and delicious. They did an amazing job, and even asked me about the party and cake when I came in next! It's also a great place to have coffee with a friend, if you can find a seat :)

I don't typically write reviews but this is an exception, if I could give zero stars I would, the staff is extremely rude and unprofessional maybe this is due to the unspoken tension that lingers in the air. I've heard the owner and staff openly bad mouth their customers, which is unfortunate considering the only reason why this place seems to succeed is due to community support, when really this place is average at best. I was sad to write this place off as I loved coming to this local hub to engage with people in my community, but slowly the regulars started to disappear, once I switched shops I realized that they have also gone elsewhere. Will not miss this place!
