Great new addition to the beachfront!! Sandwiches are a fresh, homemade-tasting treat for lunch, & becoming popular. Then we tried dinner. The salmon & shrimp flatbread was better than anything I've had anywhere along the beach strip. Wonderful flavours & freshness that only a top chef could produce. I'm a regular at the hotel & already looking forward to meals at Watts.

Very very mediocre food. Mexican and Greek wraps were basically the same except the “Mexican” wrap had salsa. Both were mildly warm. The “curry” chicken soup was chicken broth with bits of chicken and celery but no curry flavour. Chai latte was just sweet. Butter chicken was on the “Christmas” menu on the board but since it wasn’t Christmas, we couldn’t have it. Grateful that it’s open today but would not come back given the choice

Great home made food, good prices and amazing view. Staff are a bit disorganized and so your order and the price seem to be a bit of a lottery. Well intentioned people and the stuff they sell is good so if they can get a digital cash register and get staff some professional training, they will be set up for success.

My husband and I had a great breakfast here on a Sunday morning around 9 am. We just beat the rush so we were able to get a nice table on the patio and enjoy the ocean's breeze. I had the smoked salmon bagel with capers, and it was DELICIOUS. My husband had the omelette, and he really enjoyed it. Will definitely be back.

You steping off the street you immediately feel like you're at the friendly neighbourhood cafe. More of the local vibe than the rest of the beach. With the addition of the all season patio this place it great! Perfect for morning coffee and breakfast, afternoon drinks with a bite or a lunch date. The options of home made eats and baking are very delectable with great coffee and six beer taps for you to choose from. Perfect for a easy summer morning or afternoon.

We are semi regulars at this particular coffee shop on the East beach in White Rock and the gal running the shop is getting grumpier by the day. Very poor customer relations while at the same time decent coffee and muffins. Probably time to retire.

Food and coffee is good, but coffee refills should be free, ridiculous to charge for a full coffee again. Hopefully they realize this and will have repeat customers. Thanks for the response. You should consider free refills if food is ordered. Regards.

BEST PRICES!!! We had a quick breaky before heading out & it was yummy, quick, & super well priced. It’s conveniently located on the main strip & at the bottom of the Ocean Promenade Hotel where we stayed. Staff were friendly & patient as we made our choice. Nice seating inside with ocean views. Loved it & recommend it highly!

My wife and I love visiting White Rock, the beach is absolutely fabulous and so is the Watts East Beach Cafe! (connected to the Ocean Promenade Hotel) It is a gem! The food is homemade just like the delicious meals my mom would prepare for us. Staff are friendly, helpful, kind and they treat everyone like family. AND everything on the menu is under ten bucks! Yup, they also serve beer and wine to boot!

The bread seemed homemade which was nice, but we prefer fresher, roasted meat in sandwiches, not the packaged thin slices. The soup was homemade, but veggies were too under done for my liking. Good coffee, friendly service, nice they have a small patio area.

Another coffee shop that I would love to love, but unfortunately do not. They renovated recently and it looks lovely. Unfortunately I am never impressed with the service or with the food. Very much a "get it yourself" style coffee shop. The staff is hard working, but not the most sunshiney bunch. Maybe I've just caught them at bad times, but they usually seem impatient with customers and too busy to be bothered with anything above expected service.

This is definitely not Watts anymore... It used to have friendly service. Now it is Finlay's and things have gone down hill in my opinion. We decided to give it a try and the service was terrible. The cashier didn't even say hello and was just distracted and almost rude. The food order came out slow and wrong (Twice!). The drinks came out after we were done eating. (Sooo slow). The table was sticky. They served people out of order. There are dead plants on display. I couldn't wait to finish up and leave. Nice spot on the beach with a great patio but don't expect any service. Other customers asked for a high chair and they don't have one. Other customers ordered take out and they messed up their order as well.

Great home style cooking. Wonderful service, nice environment and a killer view of thw bay in White Rock. The patio is heated and comfortable all year round. Coffee, beer, wine, Breakfast Lunch and dinner on the weekends. Highly recommend this place.

We stayed at the Ocean Promenade Hotel which The cafe is attached to. The meals are all like home made. They had fresh giant muffins and scones every morning as well as eggs and bacon for breakfast. All the ingredients are very fresh and made right in front of you. Can say enough about this Cafe it was totally awesome. Lots of locals hang out there.

Came here for breakfast with my husband. It was a nice simple place for simple breakfast. No wait on a Sunday morning at 11 am. And not busy either. It's more like a cafe place serving breakfast options as well. Eggs were delicious and bread was nice. Order and pay at counter then you may seat yourselves.
