Love this quaint this bakery! One of my faves in white rock, it's an adorable little bakery. They're goods are fresh and DELICIOUS! one of my favourites is their raspberry and white chocolate scone. I also love their tartlets, honestly wish I could have one of each every time. Only thing is there is limited parking.

I actually was enjoying my coffee at the nearby cafe and was told to stop here to get bread for supper. Well I walked down the stairs and found this amazing bakery. The storefront is bright, vibrant and inventing with flowers and a cool mural on the concrete wall. Inside I immediately noticed the treats display with all the pastries and sweets, this is worth another visit to try. There was a seating area I noticed but not sure if they had coffee, I assume they did. I grabbed a nice whole wheat loaf of bread, had it sliced by the charming lady behind the counter and was on my way. The bread was tasty and so fresh, perfect for our curry at my friends I was visiting that night.

You will not find a better scone on the face of this earth. The white chocolate raspberry scone is undefeated in the competition of scone goodness. Our whole office loves them, my family loves them and we give them to clients as well. Our coworkers even had their family from out of town try it and whenever they go to Edmonton now they are requested to bring the scones. They are so good I don't buy anything else when I go in and if you check the place out you will be amazed by that. Everything in there looks like its from a movie. Beautiful presentation and I am sure taste to match. Do yourself a favour. Grab a cup of coffee early in the morning, then run by there and grab a scone and sit on the beach a couple blocks down the road. You won't regret it.

Visually pretty bakery with delicious treats on display. Excellent ginger crackle and chocolate chip cookies bagged and ready to take home. Loved my rhubarb tartlet and the French baguette. Was a little disappointed with the cinnamon bun. It was drier than expected. Excited to return because apparently I have points to redeem on my next purchase. Woohoo. Rewards to eat treats and best of all they keep track of them for me.

Very disappointed, used to be such a gem. They have truly insulted the French bakers. Their bread is just like any other bread. Shelves are bare, store looks messy. Worst of all, they have covered up the heart and soul of the bakery which is the oven. Are you ashamed of your oven?? French bakers would be horrified when they see this. Really really sad......

Fieldstones is so good I can't put it into words. My personal favorite is their chocolate cake, but some other amazing items are their chocolate chip cookies and apricot cookies. The quality is top notch and I would highly recommend you check them out for a sugary treat.

Pricy but always fresh and delicious, great service. The sausage rolls, meat pies, pastys are always deliciously flaky and richly flavored. The breads are fluffy, soft and moist. The cookies are the crunchy type with tons of chocolate chips. They recently upgraded their cinnamon buns to a sticky-raisin type and oh my. To die for. I believe the owner is French and uses real butter in all of the recipes. You can really taste the difference.

Service is a bit of hit and miss. Bought an individual cake for my mother. It was bagged without me seeing it; brought it home to find out it was squashed on top from what looked like a tray indent. Taste OK, shape not. Had a bakery for many years myself. That product would have been ditched; the same for any staff who would sell it. Check your goodies before your leave the store! Saturday, Mar 18, just before closing.

Just stopped in for a treat and picked up a cherry lemon loaf, raspberry cream tart and my son picked the carrot cake. Even though the friendly lady said it was slim pickings at the time (late afternoon) I felt there was still enough selection for the two of us. Everything we tried was very delicious. The moist carrot cake had pineapples and cream cheese icing. The tart had a thick flakey crust and the filling had a fairly mild taste. Nothing overtly sweet. The bread is very chewy and my son liked it best of all the items. Because the price is a bit high, I held back one star but I would like to go back and try more items, such as a savory loaf and chocolate tart, then may put it up to 5

We can never say enough good things about the wonderful Fieldstones Bakery. How fortunate we are to live so close to this epicurean gold mine. They use organic flour and real butter! You had me at "butter"! Their bread is the only bread we buy. Ever. None even comes close. And their confections are divine. Something for every taste. One of the things to love about Fieldstones is how superb their desserts are; they don't cheat by over sugaring things. Instead they use quality ingredients and you can taste the freshness. Top all this off with very friendly staff who are always happy to help and joyful to serve. Scrumptious, sophisticated and frankly sacred!!!

Dropped by with my boyfriend on the way to the beach and they were so kind! I bought a cranberry sourdough loaf which was absolutely delicious and she offered me another loaf - black pepper asiago. Both so delicious! Made some wonderful avocado toast! The crust brought the experience to a whole new level (my boyfriend left me the end piece which is a good thing with this bread). They had one person serving I was still looking and so l let the next person go ahead of me. When I was ready there were all of a sudden 3 servers I was asking questions about tasting cookies, special ordering cookies that were seasonal and my answers came back quickly abruptly and with a"NO". it was as though I was being a bother. Poor customer service, the chocolate cookies are good but the ginger cookies for my taste lacked in flavour. I've worked in the service industry for many years the first and foremost negative impact on an owners business is poor customer service. The servers looked and acted like they were afraid of the woman who was hovering over them and not doing anything to help the customers. I know that there products are in demand due to ingredients used, variety of goods but to compliment this element greatly is having there staff feel comfortable and confident about serving the public.

Fabulous bread--the best around. The oatmeal cookies are my idea of perfect and feature dried apricots instead of the standard raisins. All their desserts are made with butter and the best ingredients, which you can taste. Best bakery in South Surrey and possibly in the Lower Mainland.

Not sure why bake french items when you got staff that don't know a thing about baking. ALL the bread is the same just claiming it's different styles. The desserts are more german style, heavy and no real skill required into making them. Location is very cute, too bad they don't have a skilled pastry chef or baker to make it that much more.

Absolutely fantastic, always extremely busy and most staff members wear many hats. The previous comments on service I would assume never spent 1 shift in the service industry! Be prepared your in line for almost 10 minutes most times, when it's your turn if your going to be a time waster I would give you bad service as well! This place is an absolute gem in every single way!

A friend recommended a stop here. I bought the roasted garlic bread, which was fresh and pretty good. I found for the size of the loaf, $6.50 is a bit high (the two of us ate it with dinner and then the next day as a snack, which finished it off). It was good, but not any better than the fresh bread I get at my regular bakery, which is almost half the price and double the size. The ambience is nice when you walk in.

This place has real butter croissants and pain au chocolat like i remember in France. No shortening like other places. Huge selection of breads and nice pastries.

We just bought the lemon loaf. What a waste of $9.20!!! It was still thawing from being frozen. The sign should have stated this. The cake was really dry and bland. The icing was too sweet. I am truly sad and disappointed. The desserts and breads look good. Sadly they don’t taste as good as they look. I had to give one star to post this review, otherwise I would have given a half star.

My long time favorite artisan bread place. Become so busy these days but still worth it to go. Love the white chocolate berry scone, quiche and truffle choco cake.

Kinda on the pricey side. Way better than super market bread, but doesn't quite beat Cob's, and is frequently out of whole wheat options at the end of the day. Such amazing macaroons though.
