Love this spot. Great little coffee shop to stop in and go for a walk downtown. Coffee is really nice and a great selection of food and specials as well. The staff are extremely kind and friendly. They have almond milk and honey behind the counter, so you need to ask for it.

Edit 2: Second weekend in a row, no dark roast coffee at 3:30pm. It wasn't an anomaly last week. I spend about $450 / mo at this shop. If just ten people like me decide to take our business elsewhere, that's a $4500 monthly loss to their business. Too busy pinching pennies and missing the bigger picture. Really sad, they are nice folks. Edited: very disappointed in the business decisions of this location. Open until 5pm but at 3:40pm on a weekend, they don't serve dark roast coffee. It's a COFFEE SHOP! Why would they not brew coffee to sell? The excuse is, it would go to waste. I think that's rediculous, brew half as much then or anticipate better. Offer to make an Americano is not the same. Looking for another coffee shop to visit daily and often twice. Too bad, they have good coffee. Original review: For bold coffee lovers, this is the place. The dark roast is very good. Take beans to go or hang out with a barista drink. Casual atmosphere, nice patio when weather permits. It's the only place I'll get coffee from in White Rock.

I'm not a huge coffee guy (i got a london fog, delish), but i HAD to give 5 stars after trying the ham and egg breakfast sandwich. This sandwich puts all "breakfast" samdwiches to SHAME lol. The egg was perfectly cooked, and like and inch and a half tall. Garlic aeioli? Real cheddar? Astounding. I exclaimed aloud on my first bite, and had to put it down and recollect myself. Officially keeping my eyes open for Bean around the World branches ????????

Their carrot cake is dry and over priced. They have a card charge for purchases under $5 which is very tacky for such a large franchise. For a place with such inflated prices to be demanding extra for using a debit card. I will not be giving them my business.

Gave this place a try today went in with five of us all ordere the chicken or blt lunch sandwiches. The bread was hard and chewy and was all you could taste 3/5 of us couldn’t finish the sandwich and we were hungry. Had to go eat somewhere else after.

Seems like the drink quality has gone down significantly in the past few months. Starbucks quality (mediocre), like when ordering a cappuccino and it just tastes like steamed milk. Really disappointing lately, hopefully they improve.

I purchased different coffee beans from the Bean Around the World. Their espresso blend was not that bad but their coffee beans does not meet the expectations of a real coffee enthusiast. Last time, I bought whole beans of Sumatra Organic beans and although they sell this as a medium roast, it is very far away from being a medium roast and actually it is almost dark roast.It was oily and shiny which is not usually desired for pourover use. I realised this just after I received the bag before I drive and went back to shop but they refused to exchange it with a different bean! Very poor customer service there! The other thing about their coffee beans is that they do not have any roasting date on their bag so it is very difficult to choose a freshly roasted coffee beans. I am trying to support local roasters but they do not seem to care enough about the quality and also the customer service.

The place is nice and the bay windows were a nice touch. The staff was friendly enough. The assaulting smell of burnt coffee wasnt pleasant though. I was also unpleasantly surprised that at 5pm they forcibly eject you from the location. Most cafes at least give you 30 minutes to finish your drink, but here you are brusquely demanded to leave.

Coffee is good. But the service is too slow and inconsiderate. We went there on a Monday afternoon. It wasn’t even busy at that time. A girl took our order and went back inside. The guy who was suppose to make our coffee was chatting with someone. He did not start on our coffee till about 10 minutes later after one of us reminded him that we are still waiting for our order. And he acted as if he had no idea. Your prime focus should be towards your customers.

This cafe is so cute! The coffee was quite strong but was surprised they can make a flat white! (It’s not in the menu) They don’t offer barista special almond milk unfortunately, they just have just the usual Silk almond milk... the customer service was really good. Lots of working space and free wifi!

The inside atmosphere is great for people who like to socialize and coffee and service is awesome. Outdoor patio is great for enjoying the fresh air and the chance to get a bet of suntan. The coffee is organic and is fair trade.

We've been to Bean Around The World in White Rock at least a dozen times. Their hot coffee has always been good and the outdoor seating is wonderful on a sunny day. Today, however, my husband and I decided to up our order and try one of their fancy drinks, two caramel frappaccinos and a couple of baked goods. At a hefty $4.55 a drink, with the bill total coming to almost $15 dollars, our drink choices left us seriously wanting. I watched the girl make our drinks, and quickly realized, we were paying for a 12oz cup of crushed ice with a bit of flavouring. Have to say, at least when Starbucks charges you a premium $4.55 for a special drink, you actually feel like you're getting your money's worth. I know this seems like alot of trivial piffle, but it's the value for expense that compelled me to write this review, and to warn other unsuspecting patrons. My hope is that someone from Bean Around the World will read this and it will compel them to up their game in the premium drink category, 'cause the place and atmosphere itself is lovely.

A cafe with a great location. I'll pop in to pick up a drink before catching the 351 out for school. I also adore their ham and cheese scones but it's always been a 50/50 on if I actually get my hands on them or not; scones seem to sell out very early on some mornings and I don't think they do a second food pull for the afternoon. The only reason I shave off a star is that their espresso is a little too light and acidic for my tastes, I prefer my dark roasts (such as espresso) to be.. you know, dark. Drink prices are about equal to or slightly more than what you would pay at a Starbucks.

i love coming here to study, coffee is very good, but it’s such a bad look to have a worker, who refuses to wear a mask. Medical exemptions aren’t real, and it’s very uncomfortable for him to make my drink, with no mask on. Consider the image of your business, and his reason “i tried wearing it for a shift and couldnt” is simply not good enough.

Bean around the world is a very reliable coffee shop. The beans seem to be cured to perfection. I highly recommend the cappuccino as it’s not to wet nor dry. Perfection. I will definitely return as my job site is across the street. Dog friendly as well so bring your puppies.

The best combination of fantastic muffins and excellent dark coffee. Yesterday I stopped off at the one at 20th and Main and this morning I was at the one in White Rock close to where I live. If there were more of these around I wouldn't be going to Starbucks anymore mostly because Starbucks only has very sugary, white flour, food.
