After experiencing horrible service by Sabletine Fine Pastries, this company was able to save the day and make a delicious carrot cake for my Mum's birthday with only 24 hrs notice!! Joanna was so polite, easy to work with, and the cake tasted great! The cake was moist, not too sweet, and my Mum loved it. Thanks Sugbo Cakes!

Got a matcha brioche bun at St. Jacobs market. It was really delicious! The cream was a little hard because the cold weather but just need to heat it up for a few seconds and it’s good again!! Really want to try their mango cake next, looked really good.

Sugbo Cakes came through for my kids birthday extremely last minute. Jamie was so very nice and very accommodating. She definitely went above and beyond to make my little man's birthday complete with the tastiest red Velvet paw patrol cake. Based on recommendation, we also decided to try out their mango cake and we were absolutely blown away at how most and delicious the mango cake was. It was delightful. I recommend them hands down for the best cakes and for top notch customer service. Amazing!

(Translated) When I order ensaymadas I regret not ordering an ube roll or cake instead. When I order half a dozen, I regret not ordering a whole dozen. When I order those with ube halaya, I regret not adding more of others with yemma. Whatever and whenever you order from Joanna and Jamie you will always regret, because the best choice must always be "To order'em all". Next time I am definitely going to try the new leche flan and suman. When I leave Waterloo someday, I really want to ask them to teach me how to make ube halaya and bake ensaymadas at home, so that I can enjoy any on Sugbo's menu anywhere else in the world :D. The Filipino/Spanish cheese morning bread ensaimada is just delicious, but it's filled with cream inside, so it's been a long time since I ate one or two. Sugbo's Pork and Chicken Empanadas are filled with flavourful shredded chicken and pork. The crust and cheese was flaky and delicate, and are filled with savory flavors. The pork and chicken were cooked perfectly. I couldn't stop eating them. My whole family loved it. Definitely a must try. Highly recommended.
