I knew about this place by chance and I am so glad I did.. I made 4 orders in a couple of months. They make tasty custom cakes and only require 2 days notice. You'd never find that easily. Prices are reasonable as well

I just ordered a cake from Q's for a birthday party this weekend for my girlfriend and her friend and it was a HUGE hit. Easily one of the best cakes I've seen and eaten. I ordered from the Signature cakes - "Melted Icecream" with salted caramel filling, marble as the base of the cake. Many people were asking where the cake was from. My go-to cake place for any event. I have ordered two custom design cakes, one cookie cake, custom design cupcakes, and one of their signature cakes from their website. I have never been disappointed. They taste amazing, and Raquel is awesome to work with- show her literally any photo of what you want and she's got you covered. She's extremely talented.

Okay, I LOVE sweets. I love them. I love them ALL, but... I especially love sweets from this cafe. I went there for the first time today (we were looking at jewelry in the area, saw it, and decided to stop). My partner and I got a small selection of things - we tried to pick only a few, but too many of the offerings caught our eye to care about calories, or shame, for that matter! We assured the owner (who helped us and was very friendly) that we were buying for the weekend, but we finished everything in, oh, about... 2.5 hrs! The pecan tarts are OUT of this world. They have perfectly crispy pastry and gooey centers. They simply can't be beat. The apple square is a treat I highly recommend, and I am saying that as someone who almost never opts for apple-centered desserts. The carrot cupcakes were a blast from the past, in the best possible way. Nostalgia and the perfect balance of flavours kept my partner happy to the very last bite! Nougat and Sabletine both get a lot of bakery press, and they are both great, but I don't think I will return to either, after today.

I used to swing by before covid times and it always smelt so welcoming. The cupcakes were my favourite. I am usually all about chocolate but I was mesmerized by the smell of their vanilla strawberry cupcakes coming out of the oven. I waited around with a hot chocolate until they became available to try. I cannot wait to swing by again soon. The cupcakes are wonderful.

I was on mission to find a local bakery for vegan birthday cupcakes. And I certainly lucked out! I had 2 drive-by birthdays the same date! I was very impressed with the ease of ordering over the phone during this 3rd wave of Covid-19 shutdown. They offered a variety of vegan cupcakes and a 2nd order of "regular" cupcakes for my friend. Again I was most impressed with the number of flavors. When I arrived at Q's they had excellent protocol in place for safety. The cupcakes were beautiful boxed and perfect for gift giving. And very delicious I heard!

I ordered my wedding cake from Q’s, and I chose them because I was always so happy with previous birthday cakes etc. That I’ve had from them. Setting up the initial appointments, choosing samples and just discussing ideas with Raquel was so smooth and straight forward. I gave Raquel an idea of what I liked with designs and provided colour schemes and honestly, she really came through. I had an unbelievable amount of compliments on how great the cake tasted (whilst catering for dietary restrictions) as well as the design being so unique! Thank you so so so so much Raquel!

I have had the pleasure of having a handful of cakes from Q's... & Will continue to get my cakes here. I thoroughly love that the cakes are so tall & dont just crumble when you cut them. My choices are usually the coconut cake or chocolate cake; w toasted coconut & hazelnut filling or strawberry filling. I even took one order to the beach on a 40°C day! The cake was so tasty & moist. Everyone constantly said how much they loved it & actually ask me to bring this cake for occasion ????. I would recommend this bakery ????%! They are worth their cost!!!

Brought Q cupcakes in today and had multiple comments that these are the best cupcakes folks have had. Super rich and flavourful - prepare yourself. In/out parking in garage off Allen was convenient too.

Made a beautiful custom cake for us. Prompt and clear email communication, and the resulting cake was stunning/delicious. If you go into the shop, the gluten free brownie is great, and I think the butter tarts are the best in the region.

Stopped in today on my way to another shop because a delicious smell of freshly baked cookies was wafting all around the area. I decided on a carrot muffin which was AMAZING. It was light and delicious, had a generous amount of raisins and pecans. I don’t think I’ve had a carrot muffin this good! Definitely give this cute and cozy cafe a try!

Oh Gosh... I don't even know where to start. This place is amazing. We ordered a custom but very simple Friends themed cake with dirty icing on the sides as shown in the picture. They're extremely easy to deal with, super friendly and reasonable with their prices. The cake was chocolate with raspberry and OH MY GOODNESS. The design may look simple because to be fair it's what we wanted, but oh dear sweet God the flavour was anything but simple. The chocolate was rich but not overly, the real tiny chunks of raspberry where a perfect slightly sour complement and the buttercream was the right amount of sweetness. We had a bit of a crisis the day before the event and they were so accommodating about the change in pick up time without a single and, if or but and super friendly while at it. I have found the perfect cake place and will definitely be coming back to them again. 10/10. Highly recommended.

Possibly the best cupcakes I’ve had. Their cupcakes are seriously next level with how fresh, moist and decadent they are! The frosting isn’t overly sweet or stiff- and you can tell (and appreciate) how they bake these fresh everyday! I’ve tried red velvet and chocolate hazelnut and they are both 5/5!

This place was recommended to me by a co-worker, so I stopped in on my way home to grab a valentines treat. They had little heart shaped cakes for $8, which seemed a little pricey but the reviews for this place were very positive and someone recommended it to me. I get the cake home and my wife and I each take a bite and... it was bland. The cake was super dense and dry and very little flavour (not even sweet?) and the icing was also dense and lacking flavour. Maybe there was an off day, or something? The cake was inedible, we threw the rest out. It tasted like they missed an ingredient or two. Maybe I grabbed a vegan/gluten free cake or something? I'm not sure. I've never had such an underwhelming cake. :(

Really wanted to order cake from them but never received final response from them for my order. Talked to them through email once about custom cake, pricing and they seemed up for making the cake I wanted. They asked me to call to finalize the details and book the order so I did. They never picked up my calls, never responded back to my email after calls either.

Beautiful but terrible cake. Very disappointed, all layers of cake were dense and gummy. They didn't even have the decency to redo the cake instead of spoiling someone's precious moments.

The cupcakes are amazing here! We worked with the owner Raquel in ordering a cake and cupcakes for our wedding and she was great and really easy to work with. She made the cake exactly as we described to her. The cupcakes from our wedding were completely gone by the end of the night and we had lots of guests asking us which bakery they were from. If you're looking for desserts for your wedding I would highly recommend this bakery.

We ordered a custom cake and cupcakes from Q's Cakes few months back, we loved and wanted to go ahead and order another cusom cake and cupcakes for a different event. Unfortunately our second time experience was very poor. I called them to place the order, they said to email them and I did. They did not reply to our emails or even respond. When i called to see what is going on. They said it takes about a week to get a response. Well now it has been 2 weeks. Anyway, we went with another place for our order and got a response and was able to place the order right away.

I recently got married and had Qs cakes and cafe design my wedding cake. The whole experience dealing with Raquel from beginning to end exceeded my expectations. I gave her a picture of what I wanted my cake to look like and her replication was spot on. She was alway very prompt responding to my emails and any questions I had. We went for a taste test and got to try 4 different types of cake and 4 different buttercream flavours. They were all SOOOO YUMMY - it made it difficult to choose! Not only did the cake look outstanding, but it tasted even better! For our spring wedding we went with a vanilla cake and toasted coconut buttercream flavour. We had a lot of compliments from our guests! The price was also very fair and good value :) She also takes care of delivery and any other special requests needed. Thank you Raquel! We will definitely be recommending your services to friends and family in the future!!

Love this place! The staff and owner are fantastic, they are always friendly and welcoming. The food and coffee are fantastic and if you are looking for a custom order they can work with you. I recently was I need of a cookie cake for one of my staff and the first place I thought of was Q' s. I went on the Monday with my request and they had it ready for Wednesday. Something simple as a cookie cake they managed to make look amazing. See for yourself. I encourage anyone that's in the area to check it out.

Q's Cakes is now my absolute favorite bakery!! Their cakes and cupcakes are delicious!! They are always so fresh and moist. The icing is smooth and creamy. It doesn't leave that "film' in your mouth like "fake icing does". Our family favorite is the carrot cake and chocolate cupcakes. Amazing!! We also like to pick up a few cookies as they are one of the best we have ever had!! We definitely recommend trying them out. I ordered my son's birthday cake from Q's Cakes. I am so glad I chose them. Since it was my son's first birthday, I wanted everything to be perfect, especially the cake. The staff here was so nice. I had no idea how to order a customized cake but I went in with a picture and they told me they'd make it just the way I wanted. I wasn't sure about the colours so one of the staff members made a recommendation and assured me that the cake would be perfect. That assurance meant a lot to me. At the last moment, I asked them to add a fondant showerhead over the little duckling on my son's cake but they said it was too late to add but when I came to collect my cake, there it was, a perfect showerhead on my picture perfect cake. They didn't charge me extra for it. It meant a lot to me. The cake was super delicious, everyone at the party complemented me for the cake. I highly recommend them.

Amazing cake and amazing service! In such a short notice, they were able to make exactly the kind of cake I wanted with a very reasonable price as well. The cake was very rich but at the same time elegant looking. Some bakeries make really sweet cakes, but the way they made it was perfect in sugar!
