Came here while at tsste of the danforth. Not bad, but i didnt like that they charged more at the booth and had limited frosting (regular, cream cheese, chocolate) the last two were extra. Go in store and have a better variety snd a bit cheaper Had the cream cheese frostimg and it tasted a bit artificial

Cinna-holic has a wildly imaginative range of very yummy PLANT-BASED cinnamon buns, from classic to customizable. There are plenty of options for toppings, and some deliciously authentic frosting flavours, too - chai, orange, banana cream, maple, etc. Damn! If only they had gluten-free and no-refined sugar options...

Yup I went to cinnamon heaven ???? ???? Had the classic with cream cheese frosting and was left speechless! Their cookie dough scoops looked delicious too. Love that the cinnamon rolls have different toppings and frosting to choose from and love that they're vegan and gluten free. Definitely worth the drive to the Danforth.

If you like cinnamon buns you need to try this place out. They offer a dozen or so pre-designed cinnamon buns which are great on their own, but what makes this place amazing is that you can actually make your own cinnamon bun with whatever of and however much of whatever toppings they have, which is actually daunting. From different glazes to fruit and candy. I made my own with traditional icing, apple pieces with chocolate and caramel sauce drizzled on top. It was unreal. GO!! Don't waste any more time lol.

When you get a bun fresh and warm with the icing slathered on... oh man, it's a little slice of heaven. The prices are a bit steep. $5.50 for a regular roll and $7+ for the specialties. I got an apple pie roll and it was pretty damned tasty. Definitely a special occasion treat and not a daily (or even weekly) indulgence!

I just found out about Cinnaholic through being tagged by a friend on an Instagram contest and was quite attracted to what I had seen on their page and immediately entered the contest. Luckily enough for me I was chosen as a winner for their wreath cake! I was super excited and customized it to my family's liking and also ordered two other customized Cinnabons on the side as well as a side of cookie dough! For the wreath cake I ordered it with chocolate sauce, cookie dough, oreo cookies and cream cheese! For one of the customized Cinnabons I ordered it with crème brule, cream cheese, pie crust, strawberry sauce and strawberries and the other was the apple pie! Everything was so good and made fresh! My whole family enjoyed it and we are now total fans! Oh and that cookie dough on the side... Yum! The shop is very clean, in a great area on the Danforth, great customer service from the girls who served me, they were super polite and helpful. Thank you again Cinnaholic! Can't wait to go back and try more!

Omg... their buns, different frostings and toppings were delightful. First time there, staff was so helpful with my choices. Not a very big place and a few spots to sit in, but looks cozy. If you got a sweet tooth this is the place to go. I will go back and try out different flavours. Today I got the Creme Brule and peanut butter and raspberry jam topping.

Fluffy fresh cinnamon buns with tons of customization available. Very tasty, they know their combinations! If you have a sweet tooth, go here. The staff were also very friendly and a pleasure to be around (dont push you to make decisions quickly and no judgment for eating here alone). Makes a mean cinnamon bun but could use a bit more cinnamon I think.

Delicious, expensive, customizable, high calories, vegan, a "once in a while" treat. This is how I'd put it. This is an American chain with 40 bakeries in USA/Canada. It's vegan but you can barley tell. So this is great for people who are lactose intolerant as well! I'd say the bun itself is a tiny bit drier on its own, the frosting is good but the cheese cake frosting I didn't quite get the same "kick" out of it, that I could tell was different but it was still tasty. Just not quite a 1:1 with non vegan cream cheese frosting. I also had their brownie, that was really good, other than maybe color and some slight difference in texture, this was great and if you handed it to me and didn't tell me it was vegan I might have not noticed. They have preset options but if not you can choose your own frosting and topping. They are big! So if you're getting a half dozen, it may take a few minutes for them to prep fresh, and the box will be big. And a bun without frosting will set you back 470 calories, with frosting and topping you're looking at a 700-1000 calorie range. So this is truly a treat, or heck, even a meal!

These are NOT CINNAMON ROLLS! There's no "roll" of pastry with twisted layers of cinnamon at all. It's a solid platform of very poor quality 'pastry' (honestly, more like styrofoam made with flour) smothered under loads of sugary-shortening goo. We bought a box of 6 rolls with different toppings, and they ranged from BAD to VILE. Our stomachs complained about that sugary-shortening assault long afterward. Never again. REMEMBER: Vegan means made without animal products. It means nothing about the quality of the product.

Nothing beats a warm cinnamon bun with cream cheese icing! They have a huge selection of cream cheese icing flavours and then plenty of extra toppings to add. If you want a great cinnamon bun, head on in. But be aware it's not going to be a cheap experience.

Cinnamon Rolls North American Style ... in vegan ... of course I am trying them. I took the "Cookie Monster Roll" – what a good looking, delicious bomb. It's so huge that it seduced me two days in a row. Yummy. And because whenever I see a vegan brownie I'm trying one, I took one of those too. It didn't disappoint. In my opinion it has the consistency and the flavour a good brownie should have. Excellent. Will come back, once I worked off those extra calories. ;-)

Took my vegan bestie here and I am highly impressed! I'm not a vegan myself, so vegan food often has a different taste than what I'm used to and I'm sure other non-vegans can agree! At Cinnaholic, my tastebuds can't even tell the treats are vegan! In fact..... I think I would come here over Cinnabon or any other non-vegan place.... and may only ever get cinnamon rolls from here! The employees were so kind and patient with my bestie and I, because as you can probably tell there are soooooo many options. We're coming back... real soon!

M’y partner and I both got a cinnamon bun, the Cookie Monster and I opted to build my own (which is an option if you’re not looking to get one of their menu buns). They were warm and tasted fresh which is always a great thing. Some reviews mention the prices are a bit steep but I personally think you are paying for the quality and quantity. They are a good size and they are generous with their toppings. I highly recommend this spot if you’re looking to get a dessert!

Easy online ordering during covid. Fun ideas, Fair prices and chewy Cinnamon Buns. I tried the Birthday Cake which was waaaay too sweet IMO and I didn't care for the raw cookie dough. Also tried the S'mores one which I liked better. They are all huge so definitely meant for sharing.

Nice place for vegan desserts. Amazing range of options. I tried the brownie and signature roll s’mores. The signature roll is amazing and has crispy with soft feeling in it. Nice contrast. However, it is very sweet so after eating half of it, it felt like enough. Brownie is good but I was expecting a little soft. It goes really well with ice cream. Brownie has a perfect level of sweetness (not less and not too much). Looking forward to trying out the other items.

Old school cinnamon bun, aka one with vanilla icing only are pretty good! From there the options are almost limitless. There is even a cake option that has up to 12 cinnamon buns in it. They have a cake on display that looks pretty impressive. There are a number of theme cinnamon buns like a birth day cake one, s'mores, etc.

I had an amazing experience at this location yesterday afternoon! The two women working the counter were very nice and had great customer service. They worked fast and efficiently to prepare the 10 rolls that my friend and I ordered. The cinnamon rolls WERE SO DELICOUS. They were some of the best vegan desserts I’ve ever eaten. (Cinnamon Roll is vegan too) They have so many options from frostings to toppings that you can customize your own according to your taste~ there are so much choices that it makes it really hard to pick lolol I got to try out their signature strawberries & cream one, and the sweet and sour from the strawberry paired the frosting + the crunch from the nut sprinkles really well! The cinnamon roll itself it's dense and really filling. I really love how subtle the cinnamon flavour is cuz it's not over powering at all Strawberries & Cream - $5.50

Came across this lovely shop while coming home from downtown - by the name alone, had to stop in and thank goodness we did! Just the look of the display hooked us...walked out with 5 cinnamon buns! This place is more about the toppings than the actual cinnamon bun. If you want a good bun, I'd go elsewhere like Rosens or Bakerbots. I think it would be fun for kids who don't know any better?

They are super sweet which as someone who gets a sweet tooth now and again.. this place is perfect! The staff is always friendly and the owner is an awesome guy! PS.. to all the negative reviews saying..oh go try COBS... Please realize this place is VEGAN.. and a chunk of people who come here are vegan.. please do not mislead people.. it's one of the best vegan sweets in the East end! Don't shy people away????????

I'm a really big cinnamon bun guy, so I've been meaning to try this place for a long time. While I enjoyed it, I would also say that I came away somewhat disappointed. I got the "Cookie Monster", and while it was definitely a tasty treat, it was basically just a decadent treat on top of some bread. I enjoyed it, but being on top of a cinnamon bun was a complete waste, I would never have guessed it was there if I didn't already know. I do think I would go back and try their plain cinnamon bun, but just be wary - most of what you find at Cinnaholic has nothing to do with cinnamon.

I have to put one star because one of female staff told my sister not to take her mask off when she tried to offer interpret for me. I'm deaf and I can't communicate with her while she wear mask. Female staff has zero knowledge of the accessibility of communication for the deaf people. My sister is hearing and she is so upset to see why staff doesn't care about disabled people especially deaf like me anymore. They are so rude and has no respect for others. ????

Chocolate chip cookies are great! Brownies are yummy, cinnamon buns however are kinda gross tbh. I just got a classic w cream cheese frosting just to see if it's any good at all before you adda bunch of nonsense. I love butter/ buttery things but it was too buttery, dough was plain even with frosting and a little caramel sauce. My friend had the cookie monster, took one bite and didn't finish anymore because it simply taste like the regular cheapie chocolate sauce that they basically pour on top because of how much is on it. Even the center, usually the best part of it, was actually so gross. So far Bakerbots is the ONLY place in the city making them beyond Perfect. Otherwise service was great the girl running the front was very attentive to making sure orders were going to the right people and correctly.

How cool is this concept! A plant based cinnamon bun that you can build yourself. There is tons of icing flavours to choose from along with toppings. I definitely recommend the pumpkin spice. Also, bananas on it (not in the pic) because I already ate it haha

No allergen warnings posted in a facility that uses a lot of soy. The server told me after I had ordered that their products are all plant based. I asked about soy and they seemed reluctant to tell me what’s in the rolls. This is a vegan place that uses soy and almond milk only. Be careful if you have a soy allergy. I have a soy allergy and had a reaction after eating a cinnamon roll.

Started following this place on Facebook and the pictures of all the varieties of gourmet cinnamon roll deserts and decadent toppings were stunning. So had to make the trek from Mississauga just to check it out myself. The displays were definitely just as Facebook showed and the choices made it very hard as each one looked incredibly delicious. Finally chose the Raptors on a Roll with peanut butter and raspberry. Omg! Delicious, every bite felt like heaven. It is a bit pricey but the size is huge and definitely meant to share. Great deserts and kudos to the baker, well done.

I have to admit that I was a bit excited when I learned of this cinnamon roll shop that opened in the east end. I've tried quite a few top tier cinnamon rolls in the city so I was set on doing a taste test with a few people. I bought a plain one with vanilla frosting for a baseline comparison. First look: Too doughy. The over all texture was a little on the bready side. The flavor is ok. Everything was ok. The verdict: It's ok for the price point, and location, and better than cinnabon. There are way better options for the same price in the city, but those require a trek or perfect timing to buy before they sell out for the day. This, on the other hand, is readily available and you can put obscene amount of toppings on. If you like obscene amounts of toppings on your soft serve cones then this might be your jam.

Staff and service was good but boy do these cinnamon rolls stink. I got the original with cream cheese and birthday cake icing and it was basically whipped oil with a strong chemical taste. The cinnamon roll itself didn’t have enough cinnamon. Cobbs was nearby and their cinnamon roll was soft, had icing that didn’t taste like cleaner/tastes like real cream cheese and was cheaper. $5 for these cinnamon rolls is a rip off.

The only and BEST PLACE in Toronto to get VEGAN cinnamon buns with unique personalized toppings!!! I ordered the "Old Skool Roll" and it was so delicious!! The girl who worked at the counter was super friendly and asked me "Is it your first time here?" It was! I was having a difficult time deciding on what to order... so many options! She explained to me all the possible items including the goodies on display at the front. It really made my choice so much easier! It was prepared fast and friendly customer service! I will definitely come back to try all the other yummy baked goodies!!

I've been to Cinnaholic, but I feel like I've only really understood the best of it now! Eveything I had was a really nice treat. The dough is so soft and easy to slice through. Mixed with the different topings, made it perfect. The cookie dough is on the super sweet side if that's your thing. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ First off - did you know EVERYTHING is plant based? No milk or butter is used in the cinnabons, icecream and cookie dough - it's all made from either tofu or different oils (more info on their website). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Secondly, eveything is customizable! It might be easy and just pick whatever is on the display, but the beauty is picking things off the list menu. Did you know they had HAZELNUT frosting? The concept of this place is pretty unique, but the actual cinnamon buns are just okay. I went in last week and got a build your own with cream cheese frosting, caramel sauce and pecans. I was given vanilla frosting accidentally but didn’t notice till I got home and ate the bun. It was just okay, probably wouldn’t stop in again.

OH.MY.GAWDDDDD This place...is nothing short of amazing. I was gifted these vegan desserts from heaven for my birthday! First of all the presentation was phenomenal, secondly the aroma when I opened the box, was intoxicating and thirdly the freshness was exceptional! I wish I could give it a higher star rating.....This will be my go to for vegan desserts from now on! Being vegan, it's challenging to find desserts that aren't too dense or too sugary...these are the opposite, light and creamy and no weird after taste...simply wonderful!!

Super cool place! You get to choose unique toppings for your Cinnabon. You can either choose from pre made options or create your own. Not too much seating inside but I believe they have some outdoor seating in the summer.

We ordered 3 cinnamon rolls. There was no other customers in the store but I'm surprised that they mixed up 2 of the orders. The toppings were either missing or on the wrong roll. To be honest, the cinnamon roll does not taste as good as Cinnabon. I don't think I would go back again.

$26 for 1/2 dozen Classic Cinnamon Bun medium sized. A little steep, however pretty delicious. (they do use vegan ingredients which adds to cost) I'd still go with their more well known competitor for the classic. Personally I am not vegan, they cost less and also taste just as good. Cinnaholic does have over the top toppings available that I have not tried yet and the are conveniently located on the Danforth. Friendly staff, support local and for a treat, why not?

Went for the first time tonight and left very confused and frustrated. Was feeling like something sweet and when I looked up vegan bakery on the Danforth your location came up. I alway double check when getting things that they don’t contain dairy, just in case. After asking the employee he informed me that yes, they do contain dairy but are vegan. Spent a good 5 minutes trying to word my question differently and telling him that he didn’t make any sense (vegan means no dairy) he just kept telling me that yes they are vegan but they contain dairy. Long story short I left empty handed and very disappointment

I ordered the baker’s box through skip the dishes and they literally made a real cheap version of the other rolls they had. How is this blueberry pie or caramel apple pie? The s’mores one is just graham crackers on a cinnamon bun and I don’t know what those other ones are supposed to be. Stick to original and it should be fine but this was just so disappointing for $38…

Not a fan of this place. The staff were not very friendly as they’re juggling online orders from all the apps and trying to serve customers in the store as well. There was only one other person in line behind me but they seemed overly flustered and did not even bother to smile or acknowledge my arrival. It was as if my presence was a disturbance to their day. The buns aren’t really that great. Bakeries around the area have better cinnamon buns. (Try the cobs bread not too far away). Overall there’s a novelty factor to the fact that they add whatever toppings to the basic bun, similar to some frozen yogurt places adding random stuff on top of your yogurt. Other places have buns with different flavors baked into the bun which I much rather prefer. Here they just add random toppings on top. Flavors that are NOT embedded within the bun, which to me is a disappointment and not worth paying extra for. Update: my experience was pre-corona although my review was written during the pandemic due to general boredom and free time.

Absolutely amazing! I rarely leave reviews. I have to really love something if i do, lol! I came by twice. And got Choc Chip Cookies, Brownies, A 4- pack of Mini Cinnamon Buns. And the next day, Old Skool. so very delicious! I am so greatly impressed by the taste, and the freshness of the deserts. Also. I am so very happy that they are Vegan! Absolutely disappointing. The bun itself was a sad excuse for a cinnamon bun. Bland, dry and barely warm when I opened the box. (In store order and pickup). The classic frosting was put on by the pound and sweetened to an inedible state after just two bites. Probably to mask the flavorless bread ball they sell as a classic pastry. The amaretto frosting tasted like I was taking shots of the stuff with every bite. The service didn’t stray too far either from the sub par food being offered. Save your money and go to IKEA.

My new favourite place! I just found out about this place recently. My friend surprised me with a box of 6 different flavours. Oh boy it was hard to pick a favourite. I absolutely love that they're all vegan and I could have them all! But if I had to choose, I'd have the Caramel Apple Pie Roll on repeat! Wish there was one closer to me but I'll definitely pick up a few if I ever head down that way.

I've only tried these rolls for delivery, and usually I order two to apply promotions. Last year they were so good and abundant, the glaze would spread all over the box and they were full of toppings. Lately the amount of toppings is the same or smaller than the roll. I ordered on Saturday night, two rolls, and I used to keep the second one for the next day. Now I was going to eat the one I saved (after less than 2 days), and the strawberries were all rotten to my surprise. Be careful when you order to take away or delivery, as you should eat your roll as soon as you can.

Hit by a serious sweet tooth craving so just tried the buns for the first time through a delivery app and had such a great experience! They just ran out of the mini buns so Luke called to offer a replacement AND when I asked, took the time to explain why the different apps had different options, why one was harder for them to control/update than others, etc. He was so apologetic and nice and made such an effort over an honest error when so many restaurants have such awful customer service and attention to detail. The seasonal Pumpkin Pie Roll I replaced the mini buns with was delicious. Shout out to Luke for such friendly and amazing service!

I can't recommend it enough! We have multiple food allergies in my family which means my youngest is frequently left out of many menus in restaurants and dessert shops. Not here!Cinnaholic is fully vegan which means I can get my youngest son a treat here and he can feel safe indulging. My heart was bursting with cinnamon-flavoured happiness when he devoured one for the first time and proclaimed it "delicious!". They do have nut flavours which we avoid but the staff seem familiar with allergies. The price is reflective of the customization options and definitely worth a try...and repeat visits.

DO NOT GO! Cinnabon is 10x better. This place overcharged for under baked homemade looking and tasting Cinnamon buns that are not it. Staff are not friendly and act like they’re working at Tim hortons even though you’re paying 2-3x the price so better customer service should be expected. The classic is prob ur best bet if you do make the mistake of going despite warning (like me- couldn’t help myself and just HAD to try). My friend got a dozen of the other flavours and said they were horribly done.
