Nice little bakery that has put some nice new twists on classic baking. In addition to a core selection of tasty bakery classics, they offer keto choices and gluten free options so that everyone can come and enjoy a delicious sweet treat. The bacon doughnut, individual cheesecakes and decadent brownies are fresh, delicious an the portions are rather generous. Service is fast, friendly and knowledgable.

Easily one of the best donut shops in all the country if not the world! They have carefully created an extremely tasty selection with a number of other baked sweets. Having only been open for a couple years or so, this donut bakery has become one of the number one attractions to Trenton seemingly overnight. The staff are always happy and welcoming, providing good advice based on preferences and trying to make accommodations where possible. Truly, the ownership has taken the homegrown talent/ethic to the next level… and it shows in the community support! If you have never been… simply put: you’re missing out. So don’t have FOMO and get a donut today! PS if the rating system were out of 10, then it would be 10/10 if you know what I mean ;)

I ordered vanilla cupcakes and a variety of cookies for a Bachelorette weekend and they were such a massive hit. The vanilla cupcakes were so pretty and the perfect level of sweetness (smooth and not overpowering). The cookies were a generous size and delicious; baked perfectly. I will 100% be back for any future events. I'm sold. You get exactly what you pay for and ask for. Best bakery ever!

Glazed donuts and cinnamon buns are out of this world! Despite visiting their bakery many times, I've never tried anything else because I can't see past the donuts and sticky buns. Worth every sinful bite. Also, you can get fantastic gluten free bread from St Annes Spa bakery here - this is THE best GF bread we've found - it'll make every Celiac's day.

We've had various treats from here and they are always great. On this visit we had ordered red velvet mini cheesecakes and butter tarts and both were great although the butter tarts edged it - they were extremely gooey and large. If you are in the neighborhood, definitely stop by.

I don't usually frequent a sweets/bakery store but this place came highly recommended through colleagues at work. They were spot on with saying I need to try out this place. I grabbed one of their peanut butter type donuts as well as a raspberry cream type of one. Both were absolutely scrumptious. Light and fluffy and so delicious. A perfect level of sweetness that lands perfectly on the tongue. So dangerously delicious that I'm afraid I may become addicted and put on 30 pounds. If anyone is looking for a delectable treat - highly recommend this place. Even if you just go to stand around and hang out in the amazing aroma of all the baking going on. Will definitely hit this place up again to try out something else from their wide assortment - which all looks delicious. Kind of place where you want to grab a mini sampler pack of everything because if you ate one of each... golly.

The donuts were very fresh and so terrific. We tried the new pop tarts today too - delicious! We pass by the store with our mouths watering each week and always look forward to stopping in to see and smell the wonderful selections. Wannamakers' products are outstanding, prices are on point and it's definitely worth the trip to Trenton. The only negative comments would be waiting in line and they're closed sometimes. Despite it being such short notice, the owner Melanie was able to squeeze us in and we are forever grateful! The cupcakes were AMAZING and went over well with our guests. So happy we decided to check this place out. It was sensory satisfaction as soon as you open the door. The sights, sounds, decor were all very pleasant, but the smell, the smell sealed the deal of not leaving empty handed. We had some cupcakes, lemon cream tart and strawberry-rhubarb tart. We ordered a caramel buttercream chocolate cake for our sons son's first birthday. It was AMAZING. We also got donuts, our guests were blown away. When we moved back to the area we had multiple people recommending Wannamaker's bakery. We had to go and since our first taste of their donuts, it has been a family favorite that we go to for baked goods. We have tried their donuts (they are big!), cupcakes, cheesecakes, cinnabon and croissants... all of which are delicious. Prices are reasonable and customer service is great. Wish they were there when we used to live within walkable distance, but then again, our waists might not appreciate it! Having said that they also have diet friendly options as well.

Hands down best donuts in the area! These are sugar coated and raspberry filled with 2 cinnamon twist sticks as well. Today after almost a year of trying to get over to Trenton in time I was FINALLY able to make it in before it closed lol. They only stay open until 2:00pm and I belive open at 9:00am, so it's kind of super hard to make it in time before closing. But, the wait was worth it and that is all that matter to me! ???????????????????????????? I got there an hour before closing so it was kind of totally picked over, comapred to when I was there last, but they didn't have my jelly donut tho which was my soul and only reason for going. But the girl out in the store area offered to fill some donuts for me, and even tho they weren't filled with the same stuff as I had last time they were still really good so I'm totally contented ????. She mentioned they are now selling Kawartha Ice-cream and for any adventurous people they have a maple bacon donut. Personally I would rather an oreo but to each there own ????????‍♀️. The options they have there's something every kind of person might like or enjoy ????

I basically live around the corner and I don’t know how I am not 300lbs right now. I hate donuts (or well- premade “always fresh” always made from frozen) but Wannamakers has changed my mind. I have yet to try anything I haven’t liked. The portions are so amazingly big so I’m not going to lie- it took a week to eat a lemon square (loved every bite- they are just so big and so rich!) Make those fudge brownies more often is my sole complaint!

Yesterday I picked up a chocolate/peanut butter birthday cake for my boyfriend and it was PERFECT! The price was great and the cake was beautiful (and delicious!). If you haven't been to Wannamaker's yet, run, don't walk. Even before you enter the building, you are greeted by the amazing and fresh smell of baked goods. Nothing disappoints here: The atmosphere, the kind people, the selection, the yummy treats! - all on point!! Keto cheesecake cupcakes available (gluten free - but made in a cross contamination kitchen), occasional gf cupcakes, and vegan options. The cinnamon buns are well worth their weight in gold, and the size will not disappoint! Looking forward to seeing more GF options available.

Best bakery in Quinte West or Belleville. We try something new almost every time we go. Their cookies are to die for and so big you may want to share. Raspberry tarts are another favorite along with their doughnuts. They also have soft serve ice cream and waffle cones if you don't feel like a baked good.

This Bakery is absolutely amazing. the cinamon buns are heaven on earth, specially if you time it right ans get them when they are just out of the oven. The Cheese bread, donuts, cupcakes and cakes are also phenomenal. The bakery doesnt cheap out when it comes to quality. I ordered a cake for my wifes 30th BIRTHDAY, the staff went above and beyond to ensure the cake was made to perfection, down to the icing color swirls. This bakery is truly a gem of Trenton, every thing in this bakery tastes as good as it looks!!!!

Just notice it while driving by so we went in. Lovely place had trouble deciding what to get but we finally did. My raspberry donut was amazing the raspberry jam inside is the real stuff....loved it. Will be getting more..... I also had later the blueberry and lemon scone - wish I would had gotten more. I tried the banana and the lemon tart....amazing wish I didn't have to share it with my roomate. Will be telling all my friends....can't wait to come back to Trenton to come back here.

We bought a few items here: Chocolate and chocolate peanut butter brownies - really good; Maple glazed donut - seemed to be day old and not a lot of maple flavour; Tiger paw donut - very tasty; Butter tarts plain, with raisins, with pecans - all really good; Strawberry rhubarb tart - flavour okay but shell a bit soggy; Cinnamon rolls - dough a bit tough but flavour okay. Will definitely go back for the brownies and butter tarts. Store was clean and well laid out. Staff polite and friendly.

After some work associates were beaming about the best bakery around, I was curious. I just happened to pass by Wannamakers on an errand(30 mins away). All I can say is OMG!!! Bad place to go as they have too many tasty goodies for those trying to keep their weight down. Cream filled croissants are my favourite, a lot of cream filling which is not overly sweet. Cream filled donuts come with an appropriate smattering of fruit. Apple fritters are huge. I don’t like their cinnamon buns as they don’t have enough cinnamon and I don’t like the sugary topping. The keto cheesecake are tasty but could be a bit bigger. Highly recommended. Expect a lineup unless you early in the day during the week. Avoid Saturday as the lineup is huge.

The donuts are awesome (love the blueberry cream). However, the cakes are nothing to rave about. Bought a 6" chocolate cake for a birthday ($25) and it was dry af. It was not moist at all (possibly from sitting on the shelf for too long) The icing/cream was gritty. Definitely not worth the money. I've had better cakes from grocery store bakeries for cheaper.

Unfortunately I had very negative experience. Bakery wasn't open on time due to the weather. The owner came out of the door and informed us, potential customers that they are late. She was very unfriendly, unpleasant with non apologetic attitude. I am not coming back. Even if they have good selection of baking goods, I don't want to be a subject to her attitude. I am sure I can find the place where they appreciate they customers.

These donuts were well worth the stop in Trenton. We got the apple fritter and the chocolate peanut butter cupcake. The fritter was so fresh, had the perfect amount of cinnamon and glaze. The cupcake and its frosting were yummy. The cake itself was incredibly moist. Will definitely be heading back!

The best doughnuts in town. A great selection from breads to baked goods. Fresh everyday and the staff are so nice. The interior is clean and the prices are reasonable. They also have keto options so for those with specific diet restrictions can also enjoy baked goods. But, yes, the doughnuts are amazing. Glazed doughnuts, jam filled, maple bacon, lemon filled and more. They also have a few local products like sauces, jewelry and more. Definitely make a stop here!

Not impressed with this place at all. Went there in the fall to go to another business next door first and planned on going there afterwards, however, out front of Wannamakers Bakery they had fall decorations covering the complete sidewalk with chairs, bales of hay etc. Nice things for fall, however, my friend and I depend on the sidewalks being clear so we can access the sidewalks with our wheelchairs. When my friend brought this to their attention before going into the other place all they said was ok thanks for telling us and did nothing about it. We were back a few weeks later and still nothing was done so we called and mentioned it again and nothing. It stayed like that until the end of fall so that there turned me completely off of that place. It’s pretty bad when you have to make previous arrangements with the other establishment in advance when your coming so you can do business outside if you’re unable to get in their store because Wannamakers doesn’t care about customers enough to move fall decorations off of a public sidewalk.

I “accidentally “ drove by and stopped in. Do not do what I did-go on an empty stomach. I ordered donuts, oh and those croissants are to die for and just have to have those cupcakes and a couple of cinnamon rolls sound good too and I’m hungry so a monstrous peanut butter cookie would be good for now (after all I haven’t had breakfast or lunch). EVERYTHING IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! I’m going back for more as soon as I can. I’m even going to buy enough so I can take it home 3 hours away. I’m going to freeze some too. Yum yum yum!

Wow! Be sure to fast for a day before trying a Cronut: delicious, hard to stop and sized to satisfy a hungry male teenager. Best to split one with a friend if you haven't been fasting or you are not a male under 25 years old. Don't be deceived by the size, the weight is all cream. Arrive at opening and you will have to dodge the faithful eating the fresh, warm baking in the parking lot; take it home and you might have to share. They use real whipped cream in the filling which is another incentive to eat with out delay. There is more than the Cronut such as super size donuts and meal sized cinnamon buns. I've only been there twice while vacationing in the area so the story ends here...for now. It's only 4 hours from home...maybe a quick visit tomorrow.

I would give this place 6 stars if I could. I grew up in Trenton and was visiting when I dropped in a few weeks ago. I was there three times in five days and picked up a pie, tarts and donuts that I shared with friends I was visiting. Been in Toronto for 30 years and have not tasted any pastries so delicious and even close to what is served up here. You can tell how fresh the ingredients are just by the taste. The pastries are very visually enticing and the aroma is irresistible so your mouth will start watering just looking at them - this is a very dangerous thing if you have high sugar levels like I do LOL. It's a good thing I live in Toronto other wise I would be stopping by here every day if I lived in town. It was added bonus to chat with Melanie who was two years behind me at THS. Super nice family that I remember very fondly from my high school days. I am sure I will be finding a reason to visit Trenton again very soon.

Bought a real whipped cream long John. It's large, so I shared it in the parking lot as we're on our way to Belleville. I enjoyed every bite. Absolutely delish! I used to live in Montreal, and this is as good as it gets. I definitely will return. I'm sure whatever I choose next time won't disappoint. There is no photo as it didn't last long enough to take one.

A friend brought us some sweets and they were fantastic. This is a wonderful family run business. If they add coffee & more allergy friendly products (vegan, GF, paleo, etc.) they will be untouchable in the Quinte area and beyond. Highly recommend you try this amazing bakery.
