Excellent! Stumbled across this bakery on a walk and the delicious smell wafting from inside made us go in. The staff member helping us was so friendly. He enthusiastically told us all about what was on display and it's Belgian origins. We got two kinds of the brioche buns (the sugar and the raisin sugar) and they were so fresh and delicious. Also huge! We couldn't finish, and had leftovers for later in the day. Awesome place!

I was so excited to see that this store had made its way in Toronto. My friends and I travelled to Belgium last year and it was there that we saw Merveilleux. They had that giant chandelier and delicious desserts. We wanted to buy all of them. It was quite the surprise to see them downtown Toronto since I have not been there for quite a while. They have a little selection at the moment but I’m sure they will expand. The brioche were delicious— a taste of Europe in Canada. The staff members were very friendly. It just gives that European vibe. We will definitely be going there again.

Maria Tselios

Splendid. Went before closing so didn’t have many options. Need to go back and try more.

Brenda Stanghini

First time here and the name got it right. We asked what their speciality dessert is and we bought a package of six to try one of each. They are melt in your mouth treats. Our favorites were the marvelous (chocolate) and the revolutionary (caramel). The service by the staff went above and beyond to help us make our decisions. We will be back to try some more of what they offer.

Ann D

5 stars for the chocolate brioche. Haven’t tried anything else yet because this is too good to pass up.

Sylvia S

I've walked by a few times and loved how pretty this cafe is. I finally went in with a friend and we were both instantly in love. The service was terrific and each flavour explained to us. The Merveilleux are crazy delicious - this amazing mix of meringue and whipping cream with crumbles of different flavours. I personally loved the coffee one. We also each ordered coffee and it was also great. This is a treat that is worth the price. I am looking forward to things reopening so I can sit indoors and enjoy this in the cafe properly. I also brought home one of the large raisin brioche for breakfast and my partner pretty much ate all of it over the course of the morning. C'est merveilleux! :)

Sandra F.

Love everything on the menu. Their desserts are not sugar bombs at all, lightly sweetened and exquisite, perfect for gifting. My faves are the dark chocolate and hazelnut meringue, brioche buns and tuna sandwiches. Waffles are also delicious.

I just picked up the biggest size of The Incredible pastry and the smallest, plus 6 pcs of vanilla crepes. They all tasted so good! I can devour them all, but I had to share some to my family lol And the staff were incredibly nice and welcoming. There were two male staff who were speaking in French, I thought the manager looking guy looked cute ;) Ha ha! I'd recommend this wonder to everyone! Pick The Incredible!!

Jon Kahnwald

UPDATE: Their croissants and pains au chocolats are good, HOWEVER it's beyond disappointment that they're sold out by noon every single day, and they don't bother preparing more to sell during afternoon.

Christine

The little cakes here are so cute. I tried the chocolate one by recommendation from staff and it was so good! There’s some meringue that adds crunch. The raisin bread/loaf was really good too. We heated it up when we got home and added a little butter. I can’t wait to come back to try the other flavours of the little cakes.

Zahabia I

Light and airy these mini merveilleux were! Tres bien.

Archana Sahota

We got a mocha which was not even warm. Didn't really enjoy it. I like my hot beverages hot and not warm. Also got a chocolate croissant which was pretty good. Staff is friendly. The place is new and clean. Nice location on queen street.

Jeong Han

I went there at around 3pm on Saturday so display was a bit empty as you can see in my photos. I guess the desserts that I got weren’t fresh as morning batches but surprisingly they were better than I expected. Little meringues were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside! Recommend trying almond and hazelnet meringue. I’m not sure about brown sugar waffle though. It was tasty for sure but I don’t know if this is supposed to be chewy texture. However, I agree with other people’s reviews. This place is quite pricey. Americano was $4+tax for a small/medium size cup

This was a fantastic little chic cafe we stumbled across in the early evening when most other coffee places had already closed. They graciously made us some much needed cappuccinos despite closing within a half hour of our arrival. We also tried their signature dessert, the Merveilleux: this is a meringue and whipped cream tower covered in shaved chocolate, quite light and refreshing. They sell these to go in sweet little gift boxes. We also tried their sugared brioche bun, which, simple as it sounds, had neighboring tables gawking at our choice. The interior was so fancy and the staff was really accommodating. My only complaint is that they have closed their restrooms due to covid, which I find strange for a place that serves coffee.

Genevieve Anderson

Big 50-bakery chain from Lille, France. Decent chocolate brioche but the plain and raisin brioches are much less sweet. Not a rich texture nor taste.

Gin W

I’ll give 0 if I could. Rude and disrespectful service. I went there in the afternoon with a laptop, ordered an Americano and a sandwich. Within 30 min a female staff came up to me and “kindly” asked me to LEAVE with an almost shouting volume, saying that it’s not a regular cafe and I am occupying the seat for other customers. She was VERY loud that customers beside me were all looking at my way. it was very embarrassing. However, the couple beside me were there before me and is clearly staying longer than me. I wouldn’t want to bring this to another level but I couldn’t help but notice that I’m the only Asian girl in the cafe who is alone, which possibly made me looked like an easy target. I would much appreciate it if she lowers her tone and also addressing the other customers beside me and I’d definitely show my understanding. It was fairly upsetting when you were just minding your own business and suddenly got kinda aggressively yelled at. The service was not welcoming at all and definitely makes you feel unwanted. Also I noticed that among some of the comments were replied by owner with an unnecessarily arrogant attitude. Would much prefer to support other pastries stores with better customer service and less overpriced items. Extremely unpleasant experience.

Lovely place and tasty cakes ???? I am impressed by design. Very beautiful and very subtle. They have a few kinds of cakes with notable names. It’s delicious. I had a chance to try : The incredible & The Magnificent ⭐️

Ken T

Foods great, been here couple of times. Extremely Inconsistent service, could’ve been better, though depending on who’s serving you. Today, the one serving me, when cashing out, she just dropped my order on the counter upside down both sandwiches upside down you can see it falling apart starting to deconstruct itself. Pieces of Lettuce flying out when she grabbed and stuffed them into the bag, didn’t even bother to arrange them nicely, and seriously? One piece of napkin for two sandwiches? She Asleep? Seemed obvious that she didn’t care for the food prepared by the team. Rude. And what’s with the eye rolling? Just saying if you want to continue with this attitude, don’t go ruining a good establishment.

Alex Sechin

I first discovered this place in Vincennes just on the outskirts of Paris a few years ago. Imagine my surprise when I saw that they were opening up here! Surely it wouldn't be the same I thought, they don't have the same full fat butter that makes such a difference and the reason why so many French pastry places here just don't measure up (believe me, I've tried them all). But I was wrong - their marvelous treats taste exactly the same! Witchcraft I thought, how is it that they succeeded where so many other places have failed?! Well, as it turns out, they actually import the same butter that they use in France here!!! If you haven't been here yet, go!!! Trust me!

CERTIFIED FISHING & CYCLING

COME ONE COME ALL.. I was at the window outside marveling to myself of the goodness I was witnessing …

Jordan Langille

The "Marvelous" pastries are delicious - extremely delicate and light. Ideal for any occasion. I love the combination of shaved chocolate, whipped cream and a little meringue to hold it together. The regular brioche is also perfectly buttery, you do not even need any spread. I also tried their sugar brioche but preferred the regular as it was a little sweet as well. Would recommend, reasonably priced. The minis would make a nice addition to a high tea.

Jaz H

Nice and cute bakery. I tried the cream cheese salmon and raisin bun, both tasted amazing!

Jill Delen

I bought four different varieties of the meringue and caramel whipped-cream delights. THEY ARE AMAZING!!! I do not like very sweet desserts and these were just perfect. A word of caution... They can easily be addictive I think LOL ????????

Robbie MacMillan

Marvellous by Fred lives up to it’s name. Amazing food, both beautiful to look at and delicious to eat.

Alice Xu

Cute little bakery with limited indoor seating, staff are very friendly and you can watch them freshly preparing the food. Just wasn’t particularly spectacular tasting

Halli Berry

Yum! Cute corner shop with amazing sweet brioche buns.

Wendy

Amazing. Just walking by the unit you can smell the sweetness in the air. Reminded me of Paris. A wonderful atmosphere and great customer service. Très bien!! Merci ????

ahmed abdelhady

The bakery smell alone deserves 5 stars

Don'tsay Myname

We stumbled upon this place and hesitated to go in as we weren't actually looking for a dessert when we were in the area. We decided to go in any way. Glad we did, we were delightfully surprised by our purchases. Their pastries are so very delicate and tasty. I could probably eat a box full, they were like little clouds.

Janis S

Gorgeous patisserie with delicious fresh Parisian delights. Everything is perfectly made & tastes wonderful. The chandelier above the main counter is stunning. Staff are friendly & helpful.

Glen E. Grant

OMG! Some of the best sweet breads to be found in the city and those big buns are pure joy. Great service affordable prices and filling treats.

Zayeema Sarwar

We got three types of the Marvelous, they were nice and airy. My favourite was the cookies and cream and the mocha one. They’re really soft and are a nice light dessert or afternoon snack.

Ben Lall

OMG this was a fantastic find. I had the Chicken Curry sandwich and took some chocolate croissants for my colleagues. They were a big hit! Highly recommended. It's a pity that it is only accessible by foot due to construction on Queen Street right now but worth it.

Khaled Shahin

I love this place--it's a must for me every time I visit Toronto. The pastries and sandwiches are AMAZING. Only problem I have is that it seems like the large coffees are only 2 shots of espresso, so if you get a latte it tastes a bit too milky! But still recommend for sure.

Lucía S

So glad we get one of these in Toronto. Even the tuna sandwich is worth trying. The pastries are great as a treat or as a present. The quality if the ingredients shows in each bite. Got my savory and sweet cramiks with a marvelous gift box of small minis to try different options delivered.

Aisley Ellis

Most recent favourite dessert. I am not a big sweets person, the meringues were so delectable and fluffy I could eat a million. Great service and beautiful interior.

레이

I rarely buy sandwiches outside (because they’re sandwiches— something impossible to mess up and make it taste bad), but I was SO surprised when I had this tuna sandwich! The bread was not too soft and not too hard. There was a hint of sweetness to it that also complimented the meat very nicely. The vegetables tasted very fresh; lettuce wasn’t soggy and the tomatoes were juicy and ripe!! They sold it in halves, but it was still extremely filling. Atmosphere was very nice. It’s pretty packed inside space-wise (groups of 2-3 at MOST), but it’s great outside of that. This isn’t really important to the review, but there was a giant chandelier inside the place that looked beautiful too. I recommend to visit here with a friend!

Buke Ayra

The desserts are definitely new and different but the service is absolutely the worst. When we asked for a knife to cut down the dessert in half, although they had knives for customers sitting down, they said no and then when we tried to sit and eat they told us they were closed but yet kept welcoming guests. Now looking at the hours they were not even supposed to be closing at that time... Very rude and unfriendly service, the front of the house staff was not warm or welcoming and definitely made us feel unwanted. There are so many other stores on Queen Street that would love to see customers support them and unfortunately this store is not one of them. Never going back...

Aashita Gupta

The brioche and the mini cake were absolutely amazing. I used to always walk by this bakery and I finally was able to give it a try. I am so glad that I did. It was so soft and nice. ❤️ Wish I had clicked pictures before digging right into everything. Haha.

Stuart Sackler

The smell of butter and baking will lure you in.... do it. Go in, then you'll see them, the lightest most delicious meringue you've ever tasted. Absolutely worth your time and taste bits buds.

Donald C.

Beautifully decorated French confectionery store with delicately prepared treats. Upon walking in you’ll feel the beautiful setting.

POONAM BHARDWAJ

Wow experience. I ordered brioche of three kinds. they were warm and soft. My husband relished them. Pastries were heavenly gorgeous looking and delicious. Mini salmon sandwich was flavourful. Recommended

Negar Javan

Absolutely amazing! We had The Marvelous, Chocolate Chip Brioche, and Chocolate Croissant. They taste delicious. Can’t wait to try other pastries.

Karl Azrak

Stopped by to try the well renowned Merveilleux de Fred at it's location on Queen St. Having tried them previously in Paris, I was excited to eat them again. They delighted equally, with a crisp and perfectly textured meringue that melted after the first bite. My favourite of the two I tried was the coffee, with a strong taste of espresso.

Richard F.

Visited their place several months ago with the Wife. Just happened to stumble by on a daily walk. Simply Amazing! So fresh & delish! The croissants were mouthwatering as was the sandwich we tried. Ambience is sophisticated & classy- you feel as if you’re really in a French Cafe in France. The chandelier is the centrepiece of the restaurant & looks just beautiful! Service was on point too. Friendly & informative. We’ll definitely be back again soon. Congrats & good luck! ????

Michael Marth

Warm atmosphere with friendly staff and quick service. Had the turkey and Swiss half sandwich on a brioche bun. Very yummy

Aditi Kamath

Such a cute little spot! Loved the ambiance! The baked goods were phenomenal!

Roop

I love this French bakery .Their meringue are so so good. They are so light and not too sweet as well and just melts in your mouth.I can eat them all in just one sitting ????????Everything on the menu is fresh and really mouth watering. And of course very good Customer service skills ????????

Krystal Park

Loved the experience I had here. The employee that took my order was very friendly and made me feel very welcomed when I asked for dine in. The price for everything I ordered (hot chocolate & meringue) was quite reason in my opinion ($13~). I did order a bit too much for one person.

Mary Lee

Thought I'd just pop in for a look - ended up walking out with a bag full of bread and sweets. The taste was out of this world! Def. can’t wait to come and try more goodies! The service is excellent! Very friendly and accommodating service.

Silvana Klaric Boricic

I bought 4 different types of buns: chocolate chip bun, fruit bun, sugar bun and plain bun. My family thought we were in haven when we tried them. The place is clean, beautifully designed and fancy. Absolutely love it.

Gerald Tan

I loved the brioche bread here specially the one with chocolate chips. We inhaled those little meringue type pastry it was so good. The store was beautiful as well. They had chandeliers and you can see them baking the bread. The sandwich i wouldve preferred to be a little warm as the bread felt a little hard being in the fridge.

Lily Lai

I was so excited to see this French chain in Toronto! I remember visiting them in NYC and Paris. My friend and I came a little late in the afternoon, around 1pm on a Thursday and all the croissants were sold out! Despite my initial …

Jett Asain

The Marvelous is too sweet. Would have been much better if they don't mix the nuts and sugar!!! You are eating lots of crunchy sugar!!! The raisin brioche is just raisin bun with a fancy name at premium price. Go get the raisin bun at Chinese bakery store, better taste and 6x cheaper.

Layla Hussain

Had a great experience here today. I got one of their special mini sandwiches (had goat cheese, arugula, and fig jam) and an Americano, and both were delicious. The bread they use for their sandwiches is divine! Wish there was more seating inside, as it is a great little spot.

Imran Salahuddin

Love their variety of croissants and sandwiches. Nice small place to have a light breakfast.

Kevin Ngo

Walked by and saw some tasty pastries. Ordered their vanilla Flemish waffles. Could eat 5 of those in one sitting Crunchy, chewy, not overly sweet and good flavor. Would be perfect with a cup of coffee Would recommend it. Think it was $3/4 each, nice little treat

Janet Yao

I have to say it again !!! I'm in heaven !!! The Mini Meringues and this time I ordered the Individual !! Omg !! ???? Very convenient and easy to do online order. I'm looking forward to visit the place in person. Please try !!

Villagemayor

The inside is so cute and accentuated by a marvellous chandelier. In addition to the balls of deliciousness, they also have brioche, waffles, and croissants too. I had the Merveilleux are little balls of meringue coated in chocolate whipped cream then covered with various shavings is absolutely delicious. Each flavour has a name such as the L’Excentrique and Le Marveilleux as mentioned.

Jonathon Chen

Tasty and delicious desserts and sandwiches. Good variety and selection. Very welcoming and warm storefront.

SONIA AMICHI

This amazing bakery does the best brioche in town ???????? My Fav products from the Marvelous by Fred are the cramiques and the vergeoise waffles. So happy that this place that I know since I'm a kid, is now in Toronto ✨ Authentic and with a great French savoir faire !

Rebecca Lai

This has quickly become a go to bakery for us! I love that you can just swing by and pick up a small treat for yourself that doesn't feel like an over indulgence. The staff are super friendly and the interior vibe is lovely (although sometimes there is a bottleneck at the entrance). I would say that all the pastries are delectable; perfectly sized and not too sweet. My favourites: the Merveilleux (a dark chocolate light fluffy meringue covered in chocolate shavings) and the plain brioche filled with a rich dark chocolate cream. Anything chocolate from here has the perfect amount of sweetness and DAMN is the chocolate smooth in that plain brioche. A delightful place that reminds me of Europe - definite must try!

Gytis Mockus

Quality deserts and AMAZING croissant (plain butter). My only wish for them would be to open earlier on weekends, as I came around 9 am and sandwiches weren't ready by yet.

Jenny Yin

Fabulous bakery. Vanilla waffle is amazing. Caramel tiny cake also delicious. Sandwich good.

nitesh dagur

Wonderful desserts. Reasonable prices.... Coffee in ceramic mugs!!!!!

Rose SB

Amazing authentic French bakery. I've been to France many times and it really takes me back to that genuine French bakery experience. I tried the brioche (chocolate and raisin), they are incredibly soft and delicious, great of the side of coffee. Also of course tried their signature dessert in coffee and chocolate, incredible! So light and airy. Will definitely be back to try more!

Kumiria KL

Decent atmosphere but for the price the meringues were not worth it. The white chocolate one was decent but the taste in the dark chocolate one felt diluted.

D Stan

Elegant Sweet. Delicious. Rich pastry. Higher class treat! Unique. You will want to go back.

alastair clarke

Love this place! This is my son's favourite patisserie and we love northern French cuisine. Merci bien!!

sasika gunasekara

Just loved this place. The desserts and baked goods are just wonderful. Hardest thing was deciding on what to buy, as everything looked so tasty. And if you buy more than 6 items they waive off the tax. The food was very tasty as well. I took croissants, pudding, chocolate brioche and a chocolate meringue. Covid safety protocols are also well observed.

Sam Ng

My fiance went into their store and bought four pastries (three croissants and one sugar brioche). We went all the way to downtown just to check them out. Turns out they forgot a pastry and there were only three packed. We've tried to contact them several times since and no response. We warmed them up and their pastries are ok. Nothing extraordinary. It make sense for a bakery to open in this neighborhood but I wouldn't go out of my way for them.

Sayeda Akbary

This place is beautiful and has great food, but very overpriced for what it is. I often get an americano and a few sandwiches at a time or waffles and I like them. The place was better before but now getting highly unsanitary. They choose to always leave the door open so there's flies everywhere, sitting on buns and pastries. today the barista was struggling getting flies off of the lattes and pastries on her serving tray as she was taking the food to the customer's table. The individual that was prepping and folding the croissant dough was touching and swiping through her phone screen and touching the dough pieces at the same time and shortly after, started accepting a call taking her phone to her face. This may not seem major, but giving the conditions surrounding us, I think it would be nice of owners and employees to consider the overall well being of others AND themselves. I don't know if I would be willing to get anything from here again if it continues to get unsanitary.

Alcir Santos Neto

Amazing! My first time eating at this location. Their hot chocolate is so rich and creamy. I tried three different sweets. One was very airy and crunchy, the other was very fluffy packed with chocolate chips. The customer service was also really good! Everyone was friendly and attentive!

Betty McPherson

BEST CROISSANTS, BRIOCHE & PASTRIES in the city!! We found this place in Lyon, France and were thrilled when they opened in Toronto! Went for the meringue pastries(one of a kind) and fell in love with all of it! The croissants melt in your mouth; I will even eat the plains ones that I pass in other places.

Juan Isaza

This place is awesome. Best desserts I've had in a while. Worth visiting!

Ethan Kim

I don't quite understand how this place has such a high review stars. I had a brioche and a croissant and they did not taste like like brioche or croissant. Please change the recipe or change the name to 'morning bun' for brioche and 'brioche' for croissant. If a consumer can't taste butter in brioche, you can't call it a brioche. If croissants don't have the layers, it shouldn't be called croissant.

Stephen Wallace

Bit of an oasis on a Queen St W wasteland at 8am on a Saturday. Their baked goods are the main reason to drop in. Americano is pretty milky so go with the espresso. Workers were very friendly. At the moment there are a few tables to dine in with.

Sori

Edit: 1 week later, I am changing my 1 star review because of how the management handled the incident afterward. After apologizing, they promptly investigated the incident then took steps to improve their service and prevent future accidents by replacing all glass displays with safer options. As a consumer, seeing the store take responsibility and act quickly to fix the issue tells me this is a business that cares for its customers. Hope to return and try sometime again in the future. - Found broken glass on waffle. The staff seemed to have broken something and continued to bake in the area without proper clean up. I bought this to eat the next day and found a huge chunk of what seemed like a piece of sugar crystal on the waffle. I tried to crush it to check, and it cut me.

Jules

Lovely little spot. Delicious desserts and beautiful atmosphere. It was somewhat spoiled when someone came in to save one of the very few tables without ordering and left nowhere for paying customers to sit but the staff handled it very well.

Gourav B

Randomly walked by the area and the store decor looked appealing. I tried the speculoos flavour - It was a nice and light, not too sweet and not too rich. Would not hesitate to stop by again.

Guenievre Milliner

Wonderful brioches and the most amazing croissants! We had some each day during our Toronto stay and it’s been such a pleasure !

Claire Shin

I had the tuna sandwich, which was so good... definitely worth the price! I didn't expect the sandwich to taste so good, but the bread made everything 10 times better. I loved the huge chandelier in the store, and the colour palette was so aesthetic. There is limited seating, so if you want to go, make sure you have a small party, and try to go during less busier hours!

Stephen Mac

Randomly stumbled upon this place while looking for a coffee on Queen St. The chocolate broiche and chocolate croissant were both very good. Ample seating. Very nice people working there.

Nooria Polda

Walked by many mornings and the scent attracted me. The window display showcases the products really well. Got the raisin brioche and it was super fresh, soft, warm and buttery. Will come back!

Nathalie M

This place opened during the difficult times of covid. It was only doing deliveries at first and then, when it was allowed, they opened the doors to the customers. I took this opportunity to walk in and discover their selections. This place is owned by French people from Lille so you know this is legit and it’s also family managed. They also have locations across the globe. We were explained all of the different flavors and ended up trying le merveilleux and le magnifique. They were both delicious, light and airy. I wish they had not run out of their chocolate brioche as I would have loved tasting it. It will be for another time!

Ally

I tried two mini merengue (chocolate and raspberry). The chocolate was good, but the raspberry had an odd taste, which I didn’t like. I’d return to get try more treats.

Iryna V. S

Very overrated and overpriced spot. Tried their minis ( nothing special at all) and brioche bun. Same didn’t find anything special. You can buy same bun in many other places. If the price was cheaper I would give them a better rating. Price and quality definitely not matching in this case. Verdict- gave it a shot two times, not coming back.

Ryan Black

First time and definitely not the last! Merveilleux- great balance between the sweetness and dark chocolate Incroyable- highlights the white chocolate in the dessert and more nuance in flavours than the Marveilleux Both were beautiful in presentation and even more so in taste. If this isn't reason enough to visit, the team running the store were extremely helpful, professional and accommodating for a last minute order. I can't wait to try more!

Anthony Tuccitto

Kind and attentive staff. Amazing quality pastries and coffee I hope they continue all the hard work it takes to craft these works of art. Highly recommend the brioche, flemish waffles and croissants.

Chafic Mouharam

Delicious brioche and sandwich selection made traditionally and with quality ingredients. Pricey but definitely worth the try.

Ramy Saboungui

Very chic little shop with nice bakery items as well as all the Meringue selections they have. I don't usually have Meringue but this was quite different and tasty. I'm glad I tried it!

Elsie Ma

I accidentally came across this cafe as I was on my way to work. The brioche with chocolate chip is very delicious. The whole cafe smells wonderful. I would certainly go back and try some other baked goods there.

Hannah Hernandez

Came near the end of the night so I think they ran out of brioche but we got the dark chocolate meringue and “le magnifique” which had pralines on it. I don’t usually like sweets but they were superb. I loved the but flavour of it and the texture (crunchy and soft) was amazing. Also lovely interior and kind staff.

Grace

They are part of a chain/franchise. Relatively new to Queen St and Toronto in general. They have brioches (chocolate chip, sugar, regular), sandwiches made with milk bun, and whipped cream desserts. Have tried chocolate chip brioche, regular brioche, and a couple of the small whipped cream desserts over 2 visits. The store is pleasant enough but the pastries are unfortunately not remarkable and not ones I would go back for.

Maria R

I have tried many, many “high end” croissants but this one is the most crunchy yet soft and buttery inside I have come across ever. So, I had a pain au chocolate right after it : ) That made my morning!

Maria Kimura

The meringues are my fave, the brioches are average but what got to me was the service. They don’t label their products properly and when I tried to order and asked the staff was so passive-aggressive and said “they are all brioches”. But okay, please label them properly so we know the difference. The Turkey and Ham club sandwiches look the same too.

Hannah Jahanshahi

Their chocolate croissants are like pieces of heaven! And they usually ran out of them after 11 am! I just wonder why they don’t bake more of them?!

Robert Boucher

Amazing is all we can say !! Daughter and I had our first visit here today. The coffee's were beyond our expectation, while the Bread and pastries were unbelievable , The service was excellent and they were very informative on their products. We both want to go back tomorrow, but took some to go instead. Will be back weekly though !! Absolutely worth the visit and cost, best value for our dollars since we have been in Toronto !! ( 2 months )

Olivia Yetter

I stopped in here while walking along Queen street. I had the dark chocolate marvelous and my partner had a slice of pudding. Both treats were very average without much going on in terms of flavour. I have had much better treats from other Toronto bakeries and likely would not return or recommend. Friendly service, but otherwise a below average taste experience.

laya shokravi

MUST TRIES/MENU RECOMMENDATIONS (look at pictures): -Le Merveilleux (dark chocolate): it looks better in person than online! it's sweet with chunks of thin dark chocolate and tastes of egg when you get to the bottom -Plain Brioche filled with dark chocolate cream: this is my favourite it's so soft and the quality of chocolate is beyond anything you've tried -Chocolate Cramik Brioche -Cappuccino: you may think cappuccino is cappuccino everywhere, but theirs is REALLY good God this place is a gift! their chocolaty stuff are amazing and the name correctly describes the taste of their products. DEFINITELY recommend, please look at the pictures and menu recommendations for more details. The staff are amazing if they're out of something but it's possible to make, they will make it for you. More importantly, staff are VERY VERY POLITE. Do yourself a favour and visit them if you're close by. The decorations also are nice with the chandelier in the middle.

James Bryan

I really like the butter croissant. They also speak French here so I assume they know what they're doing. Good stuff.

B. Gallego

Stumbled upon this delectable bakery on Queen Street, they have drinks, sandwiches, pastries and more. The huge chandelier is what caught my eye and I’m glad I went in! I got a box of 6 of their Marvelleux pastries and enjoyed them at home - they were so light and soft without being too sweet. It was a surprise as I thought there would be more of a texture from the meringue. So I’m thinking it sat too long? I want to try some fresh at the store... that’s why I couldn’t give 5 stars. Decided to freeze some to see if the texture and taste is nice that way too. Looking forward to come back to try more of their goods. It’s definitely a wonderful spot to meet up with a friend/partner/co-worker/etc for a quick bite!

Victoria Young

I wanted to love this place. It was busy so they have to be doing something right ! I didn’t have any food. Just a latte with a syrup shot. Yuucckk! $7 for me to take 3 sips a throw it out. Comparable to McDonald’s coffee. Not worth it
