La Boulangerie is incredible - the bread - ohhh the bread, the quiche is amazing, the butter and cheese from Quebec is divine and the selection of foodie items from France is fantastic! Did I mention the bread?!?! Be sure to check it out!

I had walked past this spot several times when it first opened and finally had a moment to step in over the summer - and wow. Best cookies in the city!! With the walnut milk chocolate chip, as well as the classic dark chocolate chunk, (sorry not sorry Le Gourmand and Craig's) La Boulangerie takes gold ???? Other impressive items are the breakfast sandwiches, fresh bread, and fantastic coffee. The service is always warm and friendly. Very thankful for this new addition to the neighbourhood; greatly satisfying the cookie+ cravings.

love their poppyseed baguettes and avocado toast!

This bakery had a lot of variety of bread and treats! The butter croissant was light. I personally prefer a richer and more buttery flavour but it was still good. We also got the brioche. I’ve never had brioche before and I actually didn’t really it but again, I think that’s a personal preference and doesn’t reflect the quality of the bakery. The carrot cake was really good! It had some citrus or orange notes to it which makes this carrot cake stand out from others! There weren’t any mini lemon tarts left but I’d like to come back to try one!

I have long thought that there was a huge hole in the Toronto food scene when it came to classic *casual* french food. There is no shortage of fine dining establishments but it was missing the integral and quintessential bakery, and cafe experience. This place definitely fills the hole of the former. Anyone who has known the joy of bakery sandwiches in France will be very relieved to know that finally there is a place to stratch that itch. Their Jambon Beurre is so simple and so satisfying. No surprise as their bread is incredible. They also have an wonderful selection of French items that you have trouble sourcing elsewhere, such as rillettes de canard, as well as a very well stocked selection of pantry goods that you didn't you were missing. I'm so glad this place is here and will happily continue to throw my money at them.

Prefer this location to the Yonge one. Stand-offish gentleman behind the counter but a wide selection of soft, buttery pastries

Stopped by here today for the first time and we loved it. We got a cappuccino and an iced match latte, almond croissant, chocolate almond croissant and beignet au chocolate (donut stuffed with a ton of chocolate). All of it was amazing, fresh and full of flavor. Will be coming back!

Nice interior, good prices.

Everything they bake is outstanding, serious sourdough, the brioche is some of the best I ever tried! On the dessert front the chocolate cake and the banana bread are dangerously good, especially if you live close by!

(Translated) The best Swiss ham and cheese baguette! The ingredients are of superior quality and the quantities well balanced. Their coffee is probably the best I have had in Toronto! (Original) La meilleure baguette jambon fromage suisse! Les ingrédients sont de qualité supérieure et les quantités, bien balancées. Leur café est probablement le meilleur que j'ai bu à Toronto!

Had a latte and a pain au chocolat here. That coffee is outstanding. I was very pleasantly surprised. It seems like a really nice spot to have a little chit chat with the barista and other patrons (socially-distanced, of course).

Place is incredible. We've been going here since it first opened. Everything is very French authentic—food and service. The chocolate walnut cookie might be the best in the city. The sourdough is incredible. The breakfast sandwiches are amazing, and great value. The danish are on point. Everything here is pleasant.

Kathryn Stockwood

Incredible selection of niche food items and amazing bread. Lovely owner and staff.

I don’t think I can buy bread from anywhere else! Their sourdough is not too sour and baked to perfection - get it sliced if you like yours thin and crispy. Sooooo perfect for avocado toasts, steak tartare, roasted bone marrow, charcuterie, etc. Baguette was also perfect just like the ones you get in France. If I had to choose between LB and Blackbird, it would be La Boulangerie 10000 times over.

Heart warming pastries complemented by 5 star services. If you are craving for some quality bakery with reasonable price, this is the go to place. Pity that I went too late and missed the croissants

I love having this spot in our neighborhood would would also travel to visit because it’s that good. We get our bread hear and also love their breakfast sandwiches that they make fresh in front of you. When I was pregnant I could not get enough of the pear danishes and walnut cookies!

Johan Chong

The best bakery in town! As a pastry chef, I can understand and appreciate the aroma, flavor, and the overall structure of the products working in a bakery section of the restaurant. The owners are very professional, as well as very welcoming. They treat their customers like a friend or a family member. I can never ask for anything more out of their exceptional service. In summary, their pastries are perfect and they also have varieties of merchandises on the shelves and the fridge. Their coffees are also excellent as well. If it was possible, I would have given it 7+ stars. Keep up the good work!!!

R Harris

Their almond croissants are fantastic.

Olivia Tortolo

Best bread in the city! So many different options and always so fresh. The pastries & coffee are amazing too. So glad they’re in the neighbourhood. ????

Siu Chu L

A truly authentic French bakery with the most friendly owners! Everything looked amazing and the prices are pretty good considering how much love and effort they put into each item. We got the carrot cake ($4.50), bread pudding ($6.25) and a large spelt sourdough loaf of bread ($15). The baked goods were such a treat - rich, dense and the perfect amount of sweetness. Every bite was to be savoured! We will definitely be returning to try other baked goods, sandwiches, and coffee!

Amazing desserts, & breads. Also had sandwiches there mmmm. The only reason why i gave them a 4 is they're a little pricey, otherwise I'd go there more often.

Santravelz

Got the chocolate beignet and it was delicious. The shop also sells savoury items like quiche as well as an assortment of bread.
