Chartrand's has the highest quality groceries in Temiskaming Shores! Not only that but the store is nice and spacious. You don't feel crammed like sardines between the aisles, it's really wonderful. I also love the local products they sell, supporting local businesses in the area!

Curbside pickup was awful today! We only got a fraction of what was ordered, and the stuff we did get wasn't in great shape (with photos for proof). We ordered frozen mango and blueberries that didn't arrive, along with potatoes, spaghetti squash, among other items. Can't tell me these items weren't in stock.. The items we did receive weren't in great shape at all. The 3 pack of lettuce was completely wilted (all 3 heads), and some of the oranges had mould on them.

I really liked this store for the longest time, was my preferred place to go but now the prices keep rising and surviving on their food is becoming a struggle for me. They are also the only place I know that supply Lupini Beans, and I love them for a snack but recently I had to throw out 4 cans because they had a nasty after taste and the beans were softer than usual. Sadly won't be buying them again any time soon.

Love going here, a little more pricey than Food Basics and Walmart, but they have a lot of different products that you can't get anywhere else in town. Hmm. Where to start? The store owner, Don, is a perv who spends his entire day talking to young girls and giving flowers to the pretty ones. That’s literally ALL he does. I feel sorry for any young, female employees who work under him as I can’t imagine what they go through with this man. The grocery manager? Ross Balord I think his name is….the BIGGEST a**hole, potentially on this planet. This mans soul purpose is to make everyone around him miserable. He’s rude, unhygienic and takes the time out of his day to put down others. As a customer, there has been multiple times I’ve seen him treating employees inappropriately and unprofessionally. What is going to be done about this?
