Great coffee house, the best in Sydney. The staff is friendly, and the drinks are good. From time to time, DL even hosts a board game night, which my husband and I have really enjoyed.

The folks who work at Doktor Luke's are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Oh, and the beverages? Beyond delicious. Prefer decaf? No problem- not a drop of flavour will be sacrificed. All of the milk options- dairy, almond, oat, etc. It's been just an all-around great experience time and again.

Quaint coffee shop. Plenty of seating, and a relaxed atmosphere. The mocha was good, my dark roast coffee was nothing special. Staff is friendly. Prices range from great to appropriate.

TLDR: Best coffee for espresso drinks in Sydney, not the best coffee you'll ever have if you've already been spoiled with near perfect coffee. The most consistent good espresso based coffee you'll get in the Sydney area. Depending on the barrista and time of day you visit your coffee quality will vary, but for the most part it's good. Unfortunately being spoiled by all the great coffee shops in Halifax and the fierce competition for good coffee and because of that I have to say I can't give them more than 4 stars because otherwise I'd be showing bias. Other than the coffee the staff are very friendly and the café is a rather nice environment on the inside, albeit a tad dimly lit.

They have wonderful coffee and a clean comfy seating. As well as the environment is friendly. I suggest grab a delicious coffee from them and brunch at the mermaid (they share the building & seating). Amazing combo and you get the best from both ends!

Went there to study while I was waiting for my daughter downtown. Expensive and my cappuccino wasn’t very good. Super big space and spacious coffee shop that but in a busy part of Sydney. Everybody was loud in there and seemed to be a place people like to do meetings and small get togethers. Not my cup of coffee, if you know what i’m saying.

Best coffee around, I even buy their beans and enjoy at home. My favorite drink I house is a chai latte. Cosy comfortable spot. Staff are kind, friendly and very helpful

One of my favourite stops when visiting CB. Super friendly staff and even better coffee (if that’s even possible)! Have to say I miss the piano from a few years ago but I’m sure it had seen better days!! Make sure you sit outside if it’s a nice day. You won’t regret it! Already missing my morning latte.

Doktor Luke's is a wonderful community coffee house. It's a great place to take a break from shopping, meet up with friends, or have an informal business meeting. James and the staff are friendly and professional. DL's has a fantastic atmosphere, and is my favourite place for coffee and snacks.

we sauntered around the corner to see some interesting places here in Sydney, and so we found this cozy coffee shop. The interior is fantastic, but the most important thing : the coffee is really great - we had a Cappuccino and a Latte, both were superb and the staff was really friendly.

What a fabulous cafe ... a slice of heaven in Sydney. Missy is an incredible barista, talented, friendly and so helpful. The cafe has a beautiful decor, a funky personality and the coffee is simply the best. We live in Ottawa and bring beans home every time - it is the best!

This little coffee shop with attached bakery is a gem. Quick service where the lady behind the counter seemed to know everyone's name and the usual order. No loud music to detract from your conversations. The clientele were surprising upbeat themselves , not what you usually see in the early morning coffee line. My iced latte was delicious and well prices.

Although this coffee shop is only a few years old, it's already established itself as a downtown landmark. It's a must visit. The staff here treat you like family as soon you walk in. The atmosphere is perfect. It's clean, welcoming, and very much what you expect from a coffee house. Great drinks. Great prices. Great people!

Very cool, off beat place. If you like strong rich coffee. This is your place. If you have time, sit in JJ’s plant based eats which they share space with. Such good food.

Great coffee, great staff, warm and friendly with a cosy ambiance. I worked there all day today and loved it. The eggs Benedict's (on the breakfast menu but offered at lunch) were the best bennies I had in a very very long time!

Love this place so much!! went there for the first time today, and the worker behind cash was beyond nice to me! For a small little coffee house in this area, you wouldn’t expect prices to be as low as they were, either! I got a frappé, and omg—amazing! Check them out asap!!!!
