Great discount grocery store, a member of the Loblaws family of grocery stores (think superstore) so they carry the PC brand. Keep an eye out for sales, they frequently have different items on sale from the other Loblaws grocery stores. Staff is helpful, 6 self check outs available. Location is convenient, with several other stores and restaurants in the same lot, including an ad joined NSLC (separate entrance)

A surprisingly huge selection of vegetables and breads. It's annoying to deal with the no-frills carts, and there are never any empty hand-baskets, though, so I generally only go in when I need a couple of things (vs a whole grocery order).

The go-to spot for cheap staples and international foods. No credit cards and the lines can be brutal depending on when you go. Stick to early mornings. Produce is usually really great, but on rare occasions really bad. But I think that's a supply chain issue, rather then a management issue.

The prices here are nice, but the teenage cashiers were quite rude. The aisles at this store are very messy, too, with carts and boxes strewn about. At Colbourne's, carts are accessed with a quarter in the slot to unlock. Bagging is done by the customer, at the end of a divided belt. Unusual, considering where I usually shop, but not a hassle.

Here's a weird thing about this store: They take credit cards, but NOT VISA. It's like saying, "Free Parking but no Fords allowed." Lots of Staples priced low, but be on your guard. Some things are more expensive than regular supermarkets.

I like this store. Great for the basics! It's definitely no frills in appearance, which I enjoy. I go in, get what I need, and get out. You have to pay for shipping carts, 25 cents each, but baskets are free. You also need to pay for bags, 5 cents each. Small bulk section is nice. Good sales, and good quality.

Has some pretty good deals but the overall atmosphere just feels kind of dingey and warehouse-like. Also, not to say that it's dirty but it just doesn't seem to be as bright and shiny like other grocery stores. I know it's a discount brand store but I think it could definitely use some improvement with its overall atmosphere and storefront appearance to make it a bit more aesthetically pleasing. I also find the entrance quite awkward and confined. It seems like it would be difficult for anyone in a wheelchair to maneuver through because I find it difficult enough just getting their shopping carts through the entrance.

I had arrived at No frills earlier today to pick up a simple item, a jumbo kit kat bar. I had acquired the item and went to a cashier named "Vincent" he quickly rang through the item and politely asked me if i had a PC optimum card which I sadly did not, after paying he wished me a wonderful day and said the same back. wonderful experience and ill definitely be back!

Went there today and witnessed(along with a few other shoppers), an employee yelling at a young immigrant employee. Very sad. They young man was helping an older man, the employee yelled, " Is he paying your paycheck, are you going home with him!"..felt bad for the older man also. Found the cashier extreamly rude (mind you it was one out of the bunch) the sales prices are great... if they have the items they have announced to be on sale is a different story , they often over charge or dont honor their own flyers and fight with customers about pc points

I'd say less then 1 star. My last experience there was absolutely terrible. I went through self scanner and price for 3 of my food items came up wrong so I called for help and had a lady assist me, she tried several times to fix the problem and couldnt figure it out. I was waiting there for almost 15 mins and finally said I had to go as I had to pick up my daughter and couldnt be late. I know at super store if a product price comes up wrong they will give you the item for free... the ladies at no frills didnt even say sorry as I was paying for the grocery order

Great store for shelf groceries, lots of sales and has low prices, also great for international spices. But the departments (meat, produce, bakery) are small and there's no prepared food. Often crowded on weekends and the lines can be long.

Good prices but not a large selection in meat, nice people though but you also put a quarter in your shopping cart in order to retrieve it and you get it back when you return it when your done, I was there the other day and bought a cart and left it for half a minute to get something in an aisle and someone had taken it so I had to go back and pay for another one and start all over as the person left with my groceries

You just have to NOT love the way the cashier throws your items onto the packing are. Two of our butter got ripped/gouged and box items two were pushed in. Then when you buy $200 worth of groceries you cannot bag your items quickly but cashier is chucking groceries on other packing area and that person's cart is hitting you in the butt. No thanks I did not save enough to be treated that way, can shop elsewhere.

Great service at the cashiers. We used to be able to use the self checkouts without restrictions on the number of items.. Now we are restricted to just 15 items or less.. We are a family of 4 and when shopping once a week for groceries 15 items is not a realistic number of items.. It is much faster and more efficient to utilize the self check out option when there was no restriction on the maximum number of items that are allowed to scan in order to be approved for tye self checkout.. Please reconsider removing at least three of the self checkout maximum number of items to scan.. Thank you

Check the expiry dates on meat. I didn't and on sale chicken expired the day after purchase and was so sour ,the sale wasn't a great deal as it appeared.

I had an issue with a Panasonic TZ-90 camera. After ringing Dean from No Frills he bent over backwards to solve my problem. Nothing was to much trouble, he answered every email from me and tried his best to resolve my issue. Eventually he replaced my faulty camera making me very happy. I have no hesitation in recommending this company and will certainly use them again
