I love ice cream. I have made a lot of ice cream in the past, and I have been to many amazing ice cream parlours: when I visit a new city, I go to as many as I can. Holman's is quite simply the best I've been to, hands down. Don't just visit once, because you should try as many of their incredible flavours as you can. And, amazingly, the quality of the product is matched by service and atmosphere. If you have a chance to go here, take it. Thank me later. PS - I know, I don't review much. It's because I'm both lazy and hard to please. Read the other reviews and then believe mine.

So many truly unique, totally homemade flavours! Girl guide mint cookie was absolutely amazing. Plus, the back yard is a beautiful place to sit and enjoy your ice cream treat! Lots of places to sit, cozy corners of the gardens to enjoy the smells of nature and watch the birds in the bird bath and bird feeders! I highly recommend popping by for a one of a kind treat (like ice cream spaghetti!) and to enjoy the beautiful property!

Besides their staple flavors, they have a changing variety of delicious options, even lactose free ones. The owners and staff are always friendly and offer great service. If you like cows ice cream then this might not be the place for you. The ice cream is all natural and not as sugary as most of the options out there. It's also not as creamy as some of the other dairy bars around. It's a good option though if you're looking for something different.

The building its self had a nice old feel to it like a restaurant or an old style ice cream parlor. All the ice cream is homemade being a huge plus in my books. Over all it feels pricey but the auctual price at the end is very fair and no more expensive then other places. It's a nice team after going down to the city hall to pay Bills. Holman's is my favorite place in Summerside. The Ice Cream is a real treat. A great variety of flavours, old favorites and inventive creations like Canadian Breakfast (YUM). The sundaes are generous portions and great value. It is tucked in behind the new Rotary Library, just off the beaten path but still in the core of downtown.

Great ice cream and ingredients often come right out of their own garden! Staff was above and beyond friendly. The factory and parlor is actually a large old home. I wish they did tours showing the process of how they make their ice cream, but all we got to do was peek into the kitchen.

Great service is key to any ice cream place and Holman's holds up to its reputation. Located in a historic building, this place has quite the selection of flavours and also has various voices if you are vegan. Sorbet and flavoured sparkling water to name a few. The outside area is gorgeous with landscaped shrubs and trees.

A decent selection to choose from and some flavours that can't be found anywhere else. They also make their own ice cream which makes it overall better then the average ice cream parlour! Once you get your ice cream there are beautiful paintings from P.E.I artists hung up and an old timey themed living room to sit and enjoy your cone in. I would need an extra star or two to accurately assess the delightfulness of this shop. Their ice cream is silky smooth and packed full of flavour. Their waffle cones are crunchy yet chewy. Each bite of my blueberry cone was truly a treat. Furthermore, they have a spectacular historical building and unique artifacts from the past. If you’re in the area this should be on your list of places to visit. You won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful ice cream made in house...litterally! This parlour is located in a beautiful Victorian with several rooms to eat in, including an actual parlour and a lovely garden for those who like to eat au natural. They also make traditional floats and fountain drinks that will tickle your taste buds.

Everything there is homemade, and top tier quality. Their waffle cones are super good also. The atmosphere there is so cozy and very heritage of that time period. There's several rooms that you and friends or your so can go and sit in. Or if the weather is nice, you can sit outside! The place has such charm and warmth to it. Sooooooo much better than going to any dairy bar. Just dont even bother. Skip all those and head straight over to the Parlour. The owners are super friendly and very much appreciate your business with them. I went in there on Friday at 1pm with a work friend and thought we were treated very nicely. 10/10 would recommend.

A rotating choice of 14 flavours, with classics like chocolate and vanilla and unique flavours like blueberry and Mexican chocolate. My fiancé and I could not decide what to get, so we decided to get a sampler both times we went. It’s 5 small scoops of ice cream for a bit of the cost of a double scoop. The family that runs the ice cream parlour is so friendly. All their children work there and seem to enjoy themselves. They also own a small B&B above the parlour.

I and my partner heard this place from a local stranger who I met in the island during the Northshore drive. On the way back to Charlottetown, we decided to detour. It is in a charming house with a gallery. They make icecream and cones fresh on site. I had no ideas what to order but many people chose honeycomb in front of me, so I had strawberry and honeycomb on the cone. Strawberry tasted very fresh and real. Honeycomb was wow... You gotta try. My partner had Turtle sundae with chocolate and vanilla instead of salted caramel (it was out of stock) with toasted pecans and whipped cream. It was absolutely delicious. It worths traveling if you are in the island.

This is, bar none, the best icecream on the face of the planet; hands down... Normally all really great icecream tastes, well, really great, but this icecream is in another league. You could blind taste test this against any other fantastic icecream company and identify it right away! The icecream is creamy and the flavours are vibrant beyond belief. For example, the strawberry tastes like an actual strawberry, not strawberry flavoured icecream, but an actual strawberry that is creamy and delicious! I honestly have no idea how they do it... I personally recommend the honey comb. Ps. Don't even get me started on their unbelievably amazing waffle cones...

Wonderful!! Comfortable atmosphere! Delicious strawberry sauce! The spaghetti ice cream is great (vanilla ice cream pressed into noodle shapes with Ferrero Rocher as the meatballs with shavings of white chocolate! My hubby had the spaghetti one, and I had a bite of it. We both loved it!! I had the 5 scoops of different flavours of ice cream; I picked Chocolate Surprise (excellent and I don't usually like chocolate), Peanut Butter Oreo (great), Strawberries and Cream (ok), Butter Pecan (ok, but some hard pecan pieces), Salted Caramel (horrid because it was way too salty). I would love to try the sundaes with strawberry sauce because the sauce was top notch! Wow! You can have the ice cream to go in eco friendly cups.

If you only have time for one thing on PEI, just go here and pig out. This is the only place I visited that I would strongly suggest is a must-do. Everything about this place is excellent. - gorgeous venue - lots of seating tucked away all over the property - art on the walls for sale - freshly made waffle cones right in front of your eyes which I have never seen before but you really must try - unbelievable ice cream. I tried cookies n cream and it was excellent - service is great - street parking easily available While the house and garden are lovely to sit in and enjoy your ice cream, if the weather is good, I would suggest heading to the boardwalk a few minutes away and enjoy it there with a great view of the water.
