We came today while it was raining outside around 2pm. There was a sign that said 5 people max were allowed in the store. We saw 5 people walk out so we decided to go in. As soon as we went in a lady came and said they can’t have more than 5 people in the store (there was 4 of us). They also didn’t say anything to any of the other people before us to wait outside. One of our friends told us his order and decided to stay outside because there was a dad and a little girl behind us so they could go in faster since it was raining. It was our turn eventually so we went up to the cash. There was zero greeting from any of the workers while we approached the register. I began by saying hello and only then the cashier said hi. We ordered our coffee and got our food. Rice crispy was stale. The cookies were mid. The coffees were pretty okay. Probably should’ve gone to tims and they probably wouldn’t have been racist towards my friends.

This place is very stylish and hip, loved it from the second we pulled up and saw the sign outside. We had been recommended this place by our host (we were visiting from out of town). I was really looking forward to it after seeing pictures of the place online and the website.The cupcakes, pumpkin spice bites, chocolate loaf and snickerdoodle cookie sandwich were fantastic and my husband and I were very impressed. The customer service however did take me aback. When I was asking about the products the person working cash was being very short and making me feel like a burden for even asking about the products. I was made to feel very rushed and not welcome as I kept being asked if I had made up my mind yet when I was just taking my time to look at the products (there was no one else in store until right when I was leaving). All In all it was a great place, maybe the person working cash was having a bad day.

DONUTS. Seriously, their donuts are fabulous, in fact, everything at Beards is beyond delicious. Great place, fantastic staff. It's a must try for your bakery delights.

My wife and kids really love this place! The portions are large; and so are the prices. Considering they have a monopoly on vegan baked goods they can charge what they want so it is to be expected. Great vibes in and out of the place. Last time we went though the barista seemed a little out of it and wasn’t very polite.

Discovered this coffee and bakery counter during a short trip to Sudbury. We even went back on the second day, because we loved the cinnamon buns and the lattes. Would have liked to taste the donuts, I guess we will need to come back to Sudbury for them :)

Cool little place. Enjoyed my poptart and this insane little bar but not blown away. I was disappointed as there was a lot of hype about their donuts but once I was there I learned they are specials only on certain days and I was really looking forward to trying them. Hope to get the chance another time and raise this rating!

Overall experience 3/5. I ordered a matcha latte and Americana, And both were made poorly and the cup given for the Americano dissolved, So I couldn't even finish it but had to pour it out. The matcha wasn't stirred enough leaving clumps. At this point this bakery has amazing baked goods but is lacking in the drink department. I've tried their snickerdoodle cookie, Oreo cookie and blueberry muffin! All were fantastic. This review would have been 5 stars if the drinks were better quality. Thank you :)

I loved the cookie and rasberry bar I had but the cup cake that I grabed were not so good in taste, grabbed couple things for a friends B'day and would recommend you taste may be one first and then but the cupcakes as one seemed a bit old. Everything else was good

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything is made fresh and is absolutely delicious. Buy 5 of the same type of item and get the 6th free - great for homes and offices. The milk selection is great - i prefer oat milk in the lattes over anyother type. 50%off americanos before 10am Their holiday meals (stuffing and tourtiere) is worth the pre-order online. Now fully wheelchair accessible. Little known second location downtown in the YMCA - has hot food including grilled cheese sammies and chilli with scones. All vegan with a ton of gluten free options. Its quickly become my favourite go to spot. Not sure if its due to covid or not but heads up - the main location on kathleen street does not take cash. The ymca location does handle cash.

You won't believe this place, the desserts are all gluten free and look and taste amazing! I don't have a problem with gluten but decided to try out the cupcakes. It was cupcake day there and I had a craving..walked out with scones, berry squares and of course cupcakes that are to die for. The service is also so friendly, I love this place!

Raspberry Oat Bar and the Cheddar and Onion Scone were out of this world. Needless to say...they didn't make it home. Very clean and modern style in addition to the friendly service. Make a trip!

Delicious bakery, friendly staff. I messed up on my pre order date and they were super kind, offered to just move the pre order date to the day I was there (I ordered a weekend later than needed). It was a small order and so I just kept it and had 2 yummy weekends of Cinnamon buns! Their Tuesday donuts are always amazing!

Super simple bakery with delicious baked goods like brownies and cookies. It wasn't busy and you just pick from whatever you see so it's really easy and fast to process customers. The smaller amount of baked goods just made the decision easier for me.

This is an awesome cute little bakery that deserves way more praise than it gets already. Their food is quite good if you have a big sweet tooth and their coffee is one of the perfect solutions to wash down whatever it is you’re eating. I hope they expand when this pandemic is over. I highly recommend their coffee cake and their cinnamon rolls. Oh before I forget if you have a birthday coming up make sure you get it here because it’s way better than any store bought cake you find in a grocery store. When it comes to their service it feels so warm and welcoming plus they have good taste if you’re overwhelmed at the variety of pastries.

Who knew vegan treats could taste so good? Beard’s doesn’t mess around here. They do have caffeinated beverages to compliment your sweet treat. They also have a nice patio to relax on when the weather is nice.

The coffee is superb. Rich and always made perfectly. We had ginger cookie sandwiches and they were amazing. Soft, spicy ginger taste and creamy filling. You should try them.

Thanks. I've been in a few times since I moved into the neighborhood and I'm not sure I fit what your owner and staff are looking for from a demographic profile point of view. It's not that I felt unwelcome, merely... consistently less welcome than in other Sudbury Coffee Bars. Good Americanos.

Came to Sudbury to visit some friends and they brought me to this bakery as I have a dairy allergy. I couldn’t be more pleased with this bakery. Everything was incredible and I was extremely happy to have a desert that I could really enjoy. I would definitely be interested in expanding your business into southern Ontario.

Easily one of the best coffee shops in town. Their dairy free pastries are good too. It’s in a humble neighborhood but the place is clean, modern, and friendly. They maintain and clean their espresso machines regularly. They could improve the layout of the place so it’s more conducive to actually staying here for coffee and chat. But overall I’m very pleased with their products and services.

we're regulars, and i use to think your croissants were not good, but i just had one, and well, these aren't just the best vegan croissants, but the best croissants in town. i don't know how you're doing it, but these are almost as good as croissants in montreal. amazing. the peanut butter and ginger cookies are good too. coffee is stellar.

SOO delicious!! They had soy-free options ( the cinnamon roll, raspberry oat bar, cookies and the scones!). They had quiet a large selection it was hard to choose especially with so many allergy friendly options! Great bakery cant wait to go back everytime I visit sudbury!

Donut was amazing. Was pitstopping at Tucos across the street and tried this place out. Ginger cookie was way too molasses-y and we couldn't finish it. The pumpkin donut and scone on the other hand were delicious! Staff didn't seem to interested in smiling or looking happy. I would die to work here for just the food at this place and smile my butt off all day long. Making customers smile is part of the experience, no? Anyhow, should be a 5 but no smiles cost a point. Will be back though next time we pass through. Thanks for the great food!

Their latte flavours include almond, coconut, macadamia and more. I tend to prefer savoury to sweet in the mornings. I see how popular their various sweet baked goods are, like their cinnamon buns, donuts, raspberry squares and so much more. But I especially love their cheese scones, and the bretzels with mustard you can only get on Wednesdays and Fridays, which satisfy my German heritage cravings. Went to their 2nd location today at the YMCA building at 140 Durham St. Got !a great salad and brownie energy ball. Num num

Great place for vegan treats. The americano that I ordered was a bit strong however it was edible. The outdoor seating was a big plus as the seating in the cafe itself is very very limited. We got a coffee from beards and icecream from the ice cream place next door and it was perfect.
