Cake was not what I expected for $25 dollars. I could have easily made this myself with fondant, food colouring and cookie cutter. I will do it myself next time. The picture is what I did. Will never order from here again. The cake for 25$ was about 1/3 the size of mine.

What Kandy Cakes lacks in customer service, they make up for in beautiful cakes. I tried to communicate with them via Facebook Messenger over approximately two weeks about the cake I wanted and got sporadic and vague answers (including a few that were borderline rude). I had zero idea what the cake would look like and what colours were going to be used and when I asked I was told, "Um, the colours you gave me..." On the day of my mother's party, she actually cried when she saw the cake. All day long, people commented how beautiful the cake was. It was also very tasty with guests saying they liked how it wasn't overly sweet. So, if you don't mind a little stress not knowing what your cake will look like, a lack of communication, and less-than-great customer service, I recommend Kandy Cakes because they are talented cake artists.

I was so excited to try this place, from the outside it looks like a little hidden gem in Stratford. The cupcake awning is adorable, and the owner hand paints stunning creations in the shop window. It looks like she has a lot of artistic talent, but unfortunately the mini cupcakes we tried during the Swan festival were just so very dry. The pecan caramel was the best of the flavours, the mocha has a dark brown sugar thing on top that tastes horribly condensed, bitter and burnt. Please improve the recipes, because your artistic skills are fantastic!!

This is my go to place for birthday or holiday cakes, they also do wedding cakes. Kandy has a wide variety of fresh and delicious cupcakes available for when you need a quick snack or if you need a dozen because you forgot that it was a food day at the office and you didn't make anything.

This will be a delicious treat for anyone that visits. A bakery that has normal baked goods and also gluten free baked goods. The different meringues were delicious, delicate in favour and just a wonderful treat after a stroll around Stratford. This is a must try. #localguides #gf #glutenfree

Delicious treats! I ordered the nught before a variety of cupcakes, macaroons and cake pops. They were ready the next morning for pickup. Staff was extremely kind, and the treats were delicious. Highly recommend!!
