This sobeys has good produce and always has a large selection of meat. They carry a lot of things that are hard to find in other stores and have an extensive organic and health food selection. The employees are always nice and I have received exceptional service from Brenda on self check out. I come here at least once a week and have always had a good experience. Prices are kind of high compared to other stores, but go there for beer and wine now and then. Good thing is they are open 24 hours so if other stores are closed you can get groceries in middle of the night.

I shop at Sobeys in Simcoe every week. The prices are higher than No Frills but the selection is far superior. It is also open 24 hours which is extremely convenient. The cashiers help you pack your groceries which never happens at No Frills. They also sell wine at this Sobeys. They have a great deli selection and pre-prepared dinners. Their bakery is small but really good. March 2018 Update: Their hours have been changed. 6 am to 11 pm, I believe, no longer 24 hours.

One of the better grocery stores overall. Recently they've moved to paper bags, which I'm a big fan of. However, without handles of any sort, they can be cumbersome and difficult to carry, especially if you have stairs to tackle at home! During this pandemic they seem to be doing well maintaining restrictions and keeping a clean environment.

I've always liked this store right from the day it opened its a little chaotic now with the whole covid thing as far as the freezer layouts and people ignoring directional arrows , lots of higher end selections for deli and meats , I'm not sure if I would do my weekly shopping here the prices are a little elevated comparable to Loblaws stores more for a specific item then a bulk purchase

Great place to stop if you're travelling to your trailer or cottage or just to spend the day by the lake. Sobeys has everything for your grocery & pharmacy needs and now they even sell wine and beer... what more could you ask for... they also have a very entertaining person that brings the carts back to the store... check it out next time you're in Simcoe

Visit was good. Most food products were expensive. The reason we went was to get cans of unflavored carbonated water but there were none, just flavored. Picked up a 2 for 1 deal in the pharmacy for probiotics!! Worth the trip!!

A beautiful clean and very large Sobey's. Large produce and bakery section. Great location if you don't need/want to drive through Simcoe. Lots of parking a there are a few other retailers in that strip mall.

Lots of organic produce, but some veggie items missing from the less expensive non-organic section. But, possibly, this is indicative of what the locals want. (I'm not a local). Organic vs non-organic sections not super obvious as in some stores. Very good quality of produce. Large store and well-stocked dry goods. No wait at the till. Self serve checkout available. Clean. Pharmacy section at the end. Customer service average...maybe below. Lots of parking.

I like Sobeys, however I find it expensive compared to other local grocery stores. Also, while I wouldn't often take advantage of their 24 hour service, they no longer offer it, so not the place to get emergency supplies in the wee hours of the morning. Most of the staff are nice and friendly though. I guess that is worth paying a little extra for. :)

Been going here since it opened, never had an issue. Some say the price is too high, but I find the quality a lot better, especially comparing their fruits to places like walmart, no frills, food basics, etc. They have a really nice beer/cider selection that often changes, which is awesome; they have the staples plus a good selection of craft. Staff has always been super friendly and helpful. Clean store, not super crowded, covid protocols are on point, absolutely no issues.

I like Sobeys but they are expensive. The staff are helpful. I saw 2 supervisors reprimand staff in front of customers, including me. I am not impressed. I also heard a supervisor tell a customer that staff have to pay for anything they damage or break, even if it's accidentally. That is not acceptable, you charge customers high prices, so absorb the costs of damage etc.

The store was not crowded and they had some good specials for New Year's eats. No long line ups. The store is one o the higher priced grocery stores in the area, but you go in knowing that. People still can't get their head around social distancing. I ask how hard is it to understand 6 feet apart. I mean, if you can reach out and touch the person next to you. You are way too close.

So went there this morning with my wife. Waited in line to enter. Entered store. All good right? NOT. We decided while shopping that we would pick up some plants they had out front. So left my wife inside to get plants outside. Line lady watched me come out to get plants. Got plants and line lady said had to go to back of line. Told line lady I was in there with my wife and came out to get plants and she saw me doing this. Line lady said didn’t matter and had to go to back of line. Sadly while waiting again in line watched line lady let a woman come out and go right back in?

Usually very happy in this store, however today was odd. I was in the floral department and couldn't find anyone. I noticed a sign on the counter that said "working outside". Not a problem. I went to the casket and explained the sign and stated that I needed assistance in that department. She told me she was sorry, if they were outside, then she couldn't contact them. I would have to go outside and find the staff myself and ask them to come in. It didn't seem right that I add the customer, should have to track down the staff simply so I could spend money in their store.

Over priced on everything by 25-30% compared to other stores. I only shop here if something is on special. And even theit "specials" are regular price elsewhere. Do your homework and you'll easily save 25% on your grocery bill.

Superstore. Everyone so helpful. I couldn't reach a condiment on a shelf because it was so far at the back. So I looked around for sone one to help me. After looking for a moment I saw someone from the meat dept. And asked him if he could help me reach it. He immediately came over to where my buggy was and retrieved it for me. Smiles and apiligised that it was so far to get it. Then he bid me "stay healthy and safe" Then when I was paying for my groceries, the girl at the check out apoligised for the machine being wet. She just cleaned it with sanitizer. I was so unexpectedly pleased and just said thank you. I feel that Sobeys is a great family oriented and very caringy super market!

Over the past few months on at least three to four occasions, the lean ground beef we purchased at regular price and prior to the expiration date listed on the packaging from this Sobeys Store, has had a foul rancid odour prior to being cooked and a foul and rancid odour and taste even after being properly cooked. It was disgusting and huge waste of money. We will be purchasing our ground beef from Independent in Delhi from now on.

I have never had a problem with Sobeys, the staff are great. The prices are a bit high for some things, but they have pretty goid items.

This Sobeys is terrific. Well stocked, friendly staff, and most of all for me-- they have been on top of their game with their Covid practices from the beginning. Being a retail shop owner myself, I really appreciate when I see their staff wearing masks, cashiers sanitizing the conveyer belt before allowing the next customer to come forward and staff manning the door and carts. I love shopping at this location!
