Wonderful! Wonderful!! Wonderful!!! A small town business with heart and skills. The owner Joy is very warm and personable bringing her creations to keep true to the many great aspects of Norfolk including foods used in cooking being local, the dishes created by a local artisan. And of course the food...YUM!

My girlfriend goes quite often with her sisters and they really enjoy the chocolate chip cookies, I would recommend picking one up if you go. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The staff were very welcoming and explained the menu options clearly. The shops atmosphere and decorations were also quite nice with interesting local art on the walls. Most importantly, the food/drinks were great and priced very reasonably.

Great coffee, lovely baked goods, delicious soups, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. A lovely addition to the Simcoe downtown. I do get a bit annoyed when they bash chain coffee shops with false information (they don't need to, they're coffee speaks for itself), but that's relatively minor.

The food is good. Service good. But variety sucks. They only have 3 muffin flavors and only ONE type is available each day. They have the SAME cookies and other treats EVERY single day. Unless sometimes during a holiday time.

Cute locally made mugs and dishes with super friendly baristas! Peppermint mocha was a little on the sweet side. (However, that is just a personal preference! If you love sweets then this is the drink for you!) Also, the spiced pumpkin latte was delicious. Will definitely swing by again. ????

Stopped in at this cute place on our way home from the beach. We ordered coffee and baked goods. The coffee was a little bland, lacking much flavour at all (we got the house blend). The baked goods were amazing, we will most likely return to try more next time we're in the area.

Lovely lattes (we tried the classic latte and a mocha latte) served piping hot. Friendly service, nice atmosphere. I don't know that I would suggest anything other than "to go" as the seating area is limited both inside and out, but if it isn't busy I suppose that's a non-issue. Overall I would recommend!

After drinking coffee at joy bakery cafe my expectation of a good cup of coffee has risen to such a hight that it is difficult to drink the stuff offered at the major chains. My favorite is a "long black" followed closely by an "americana".

I had high hopes because of the reviews but was dissaponted. My lavender latte had no lavender taste, it just tasted like a regular latte. The hot chocolate was bitter/weak and didn't have enough sugar. The cookies were okay and the staff was nice but my experience was very underwhelming because I was excited to try something different. It looked like there was a girl who was in training there and maybe that's why our order came out so poor but we won't be coming back.

Warm and gooey chocolate chip cookies! Need I day more? But if I must, this is a cute little local coffee shop. Its tucked away off the main street but worth the short detour. Great coffee and yummy baked treats! I had a lovely pumpkin spice lattee. You could actually taste the pumpkin flavour and not just sickly sweet syrup.
