Cakes are nice looking and excellence commitment might be felt. Nevertheless price are prohibitive to me. Craftsmanship seems influenced by the contemporary Japan. Correction to my thought is welcome. Wish them displaying more varieties and modest price range offering down the road when foot traffic up before the pandemic trauma wanes. Then I may be allowed the occasion to appreciate their take. The talk of town of may reach far beyond this neighborhood.????

I love durian and had tried many from different bakers in Toronto. Savorology's durian cake is the best in appearance, unfortunately they're the most expensive but worst in taste. I ordered a Durian Bomb. It's easy to order online. The cake was ready when I was there to pick it up. It was a smooth process. The cake was stored in our fridge overnight. The next day early morning we took it out for a birthday surprise in bed, there's a big pool of water at the bottom of cake box. Something in the cake (probably mango jelly layer) sipping out water. It took me a long time to clean up the mess. Thank god the cake was still in good shape. We had no problem taking photos with it. Taste wise, you can definitely tell it's from a low end bakery. The durian mousse has good flavor. Mango jelly and passion fruit mousse are good individually, but together they don't compliment each other or durian. The worst part is the cake layer. The texture is awfully rough and loose. It's only one tiny layer, but that's enough to make the whole cake giving out a very cheap impression. It's such a shame considering they put so much efforts in perfecting the appearance. With such interesting appearance, Durian Bomb has the potential to get more attention and reach bigger market. Looking forward to seeing them fixing the few issues mentioned above so the cake is worth the hefty price tag.

Their huge mochi were quite the disappointment. Of the four flavours tried (Peach, Durian, Oreo and Matcha), the Oreo and Durian were the most flavourful. The Matcha mochi was actually pretty terrible. The skin of the mochi was hard and tasted like raw rice flour and the filling was tasteless (you can see in the photo how we were able to cut the mochi without changing it's shape. It was hard!). I don't think their mochi are worth the price they charge and the flavours are nothing special.

Ruined my Christmas Day. The Christmas Roll was pretty but the service is BAD. Cake wasn’t ready at my scheduled pick up time when I had a dinner party to go to and I had to pick up people on the way. Worst of all, no apologies and lied to me. I was 8 minutes early, was told I was early and my cake wasn’t ready. They forgot my order and was only preparing it when I arrived. They thought I don’t understand mandarin and was talking to each other while checking if there was an extra one around. I waited 25 minutes past my pick up time before I got my order. No compensation and not even an apology for this delay that caused my family to be mad at me on Christmas Day. I am not returning to this store and they will not be getting any business from me or my friends ever again.

Cakes are good, but a bit pricey. Their passionfruit coconut is tangy and not too sweet. Their chocolate hazelnut cake is rich, with an intense dark chocolate flavour.

Durian Dafu is so delicious! If you like durian, don't miss it! The green tea Melaleuca is also very good, not sweet nor greasy, with a strong matcha flavor. The soy milk box is also delicious. Have tried their multi layer cake. The presentation is pretty. I would give 5 out of 5. The cake itself, I have purchased both chocolate and tiramisu. Chocolate was pretty good, flavour is perfect. Rich but not too much. Texture was not bad. I will give 4.5 out of 5. Whereas the tiramisu, I was a little disappointed. A little more moist than I expected. The coffee flavour was there but not enough. Very mild. Kinda reminds me of some people ordered their regular coffee with triple creams. I can only rate 2 out of 5. Sorry for rating this low. Price 1.9 out of 5. Very pricey for a cake but at the same time, I get it, the process of making multi-layers can be time consuming and needs a lot of materials. I am sure the person behind this spent a whole chunk of time making it. Overall, 3 out of 5. Is it worth the price or worth coming back, my honest opinion is, Yes. Go for the chocolate cake instead of tiramisu. Unless you prefer a lighter coffee taste to your tiramisu.

My friend bought me a box of lava custard mooncake from their shop. That was the best mooncake I have ever had!!!!! It tasted very fresh and authentic so different from the ones I got from supermarket last year! The durian shaped cake was so good too. The look and the falvor!

OMG the mochis here are absolutely to die for. Soft, flavourful, and chewy, they're perfect. Ive tried all the flavours except Durian but I think the Matcha and Oreo are my favourites. Not only creamed filled, but layered with sponge cake in between, and combined with the chewy mochi skin theyre more like cute, firm mochi cake than standard mochis; which I actually prefer.

Came by and discovered it by chance and ordered their mochi to try. Fresh ingredients and quality baked goods. They are a bit on the pricy side but it's understandable as their product is a niche item. The mochi had a actually cake layer filling and was refreshing. Look forwards to trying other items as a special treat.

Bought several things from this cake shop for the first time. Mochi cake box, individual mochi, milli roll (tiramisu). Me and my family loved all of them. They are not very sweet, but I guess their specialty is the mochi. Excellent texture and chewiness. The soy milk cake box is bursting with soy milk flavour! Tried the shredded pork with taro cake box and was sceptical but wanted to give a try. The combination actually works well for me! The pork taste is subtle and did not overpower the taro flavor. They are giving out dalgona candies with which the kids had a blast.

The cake is awesome especially their Durian Bomb ! Plus the staff AMY was super helpful and nice. Everything from order to deliver went smoothly.
