Their cheese tarts are divine, and so are their chocolate cakes. And their breads too! Everything is good. I also like the triple cheese bread (loaf and loaded with cheese, not sure if it’s called that). The mango boba with creamcheese and mango bits is also amazing.

The plain croissant for $2.95 was soft and fresh. Green tea cake was ordinary and pricey at $4.95. I looked and most buns and pastry are over-pricey even at the Big Shopping Mall. Not worth just for buns and pastries.

Best place for cakes and stuffed breads in Toronto!! All their cakes are delicious and fruits in the cakes are fresh especially mangoes???? my favs are mango pudding, almond and rose???? in stuffed breads- must try- green onion and sausage bun!!! And finally Tuna sandwich is simply perfect!!!

Love their buns, but I find the selection is not as much as markville mall location. I also don't like the long line up to pay for the buns, more pay counter needed, because the tray with buns is very heavy to carry.

Superb collections of variety of tasty pies, Rolls, tarts, breads and blended real juices. I loved it. Yummy #tastybakery#yummy bakery, no comments. Well its a small branch but its worth in the STC for those love baked food and items.

Super tasty Asian bakery. They have a variety of breads cakes tarts mousses biscuits etc ..!!! Very friendly staff.. quick service at the counter … self service around the bakery. The pastries were fresh.. mango pudding cake was out of the world tasty ..!!!! The bread is super soft and nice ..!! Definitely coming back ..!! Neatly maintained counters and aisles ..!!

We love this bakery store. I and my wife tries many different types of cakes, Chinese buns and love it all. The quality is so fresh, the taste is delicious and the price is cheap.

Well, a new Saint Germain Bakery location opened on the lower food court area of the Scarborough Town Centre! If your eyes are the keys to your stomach, then get yourself down here to feast on the eye popping cakes and pastries on display. The ingredients look fresh and natural, especially anything that has fruits added to it! Products available include regular cakes & breads, Chinese pastries, moon cakes, special occasion cakes for weddings/other celebrations, etc. I was here during the soft opening day in December 2019 to try the Chinese pastries, just because I'm a self-anointed expert! Staff are helpful to answer any questions and checkout was smooth.

We tried a few things from this Asian bakery (though the name is French) and while some of them were hits there were misses as well. My top choice is their Green Onion Sausage bun - complete bang for the buck with nice juicy sausage pieces embedded in nice soft moist (cheese and oil) bun. BBQ Pork bun was a let down especially because the pork filling was sweet and the bun was sweet too and I want my savoury snack to be either salty or a balance between sweet and salty. The Double Baked Almond croissant was good with a soft well baked croissant topped with almond shavings powdered with white sugar. The Coconut Cocktail bun had a nice coconut filling but the amount of filling was just not enough for me. The Yudine Bread (Apple Cheese) was average. The Napolean is a bit pricey for its size ($2.5 for the small one) but good. The Butter Cream bun was good with a very light mildly sweet butter cream filling (again I think the filling could’ve been a bit more but it was still ok). If you buy 6 items they dont charge you the tax. The place may appear pricey cakes/cookies are expensive) but so are many boutique bakeries in Toronto. Relatively speaking this place is still affordable. Overall a decent place if you’re in STC.

One of my favorite Asian bakeries. This is one of the newer and smaller location in Scarborough Town center on the lower level next to food court. All the buns, bread, cakes and cookies are super tasty and high quality. Very polite, helpful and friendly customer service as well. Will definitely come back and recommend!

cheap pastries that are good and high quality, if you're new here i reccomended [you dont need to take my reccomendation] pineapple bun and butter milk coconut bread (if you dont like coconut, coconut is good for you, the coconut flavour is very light and gentle anyway, pineapple flavour in pineapple bun is also light and gentle, good texture)

Visited the store yesterday and trying to pay by a paper money bill. The cashier refused to accept it because it is paper (previous generation). Treated me like using a counterfeit. Please educate the staffs that those bills are still valid by law! Thanks

I ordered a chestnut cake for my Mom's birthday. The cake was just so so, not enough chestnut paste and was slightly sweeter than expected. However, I would give the store a couple more times for their improvement

I wish I could give it zero star. The buns we're ok. Price were affordable. Disappoint with the store supervisor. Her name is Vivian with the glasses on. We speak mandarin to her and she said she don't speak Chinese. And she roll her eyes on us. Do Not Come To this location!!! Very rude to the staff and customer.

Have been to this bakery store many times but just now remember to do a review. When it first opened, I felt that the prices were high as I was comparing their prices to the other similar Chinese bakeries. Later on I bought some of their products and found that the qualify was pretty good. Now, when I looked at their prices again, it is not too bad as the other bakeries have all increased their prices. Besides the quality, the variety of selection is okay, but cannot be said to have a huge selection. The staff are very polite and friendly. The location is very convenient. Overall it is an zbove average experience shopping here.

My daughter ordered the Rose pedal cake at this Scarborough location for my birthday. We were disappointed with the cake. It looked nothing like the one they make at the other locations. There was only a few rose pedals whereas the others are covered with rose pedals. Doesn’t look attractive at all and it didn’t taste good. Will not recommend or go to this location.

Very disappointment. Not sure all the good reviews are real or bots!! It's very hard for me to believe that people like the pastries or buns. This is my first time trying them. I bought the bbq bun - meat was dried and no bbq flavor or seasoning. The curry beef puff the same, meat is dried and hardly any curry flavor or seasoning. I couldn't finish them, it was awful, throw them in the garbage. Taro pastry is bland, not sweet, no taro flavor and the shell is semi-hard. Chicken pot pie is just simply not editable at all. The shell is hard and no flavor what-so -ever, very bland. The only 2 things that tasted okay was the first 2 pictures. Overall, not worth the hype!
