Great little neighbourhood bakery with a decent selection of various breads and other goods, all at very reasonable prices. They also have a few Filipino items that I really like, such as their empanadas (pork or chicken). The barbecue pork buns are good too!

Bakery itself is decent and has nice fresh bread. Not too much selection most days, but not a big issue. I recently placed an order to have some empanadas ready for a lunch, and they called me an hour before to tell me they don't have any. But they took the order two days prior and assured me they'd be ready. Leaving the customer to scramble an hour before isn't really a good look, unfortunately. So no more preorders for any events from here - lesson learned.

The best Filipino empanadas in the city! Flakey crust with a delicious filling of either pork or chicken. Even when you warm it up at home, it still taste delicious! You have to try this place!

The bakery smells delicious when you walk in. The food is delicious and extremely well priced. The raisin bread does not have many raisins unfortunately and they don't take Visa, just cash or debit.

First time at the bakery and well it was okay. Selection of baked goods was slim, we tried a bunch of things and found the bread to be decent. It's a basic neighborhood bakery with the necessary items.

These donuts are the perfect balance between cake-y and light. Probably the best donuts in Scarborough and their prices are the best (6 for $5.50, $3.25 on weekends)! They’re cash or debit only btw.

They bake fresh pandesal and ensaymadas. Their empanadas are also delicious. We love their hamburger and hot dog buns. Their loaves of bread are also good. They don't have a lot of preservatives so you'd need to eat them pretty quickly.

Hands down the BEST donuts I've ever had. When we first moved into the area, I just happened to find this place while exploring the neighborhood. It's a small space that just smells like cakey goodness. They have a good variety of donuts, cookies, muffins, breads and other goodies. The prices are awesome for what you get and all of the staff are wonderful and dedicated to what they do. A one time visit has turned into regular outings and they are my go to for donuts that are served at my special events! Give them a try, you won't leave hungry or disappointed!

You won't regret the freeway-drive to this little place (right beside the Metro). The donuts are fan-freaking-tastic. Boston Cream donuts are filled with very NON-Tim-Horton's filling (good). The hotdog-buns are doughy but respectable. The cupcakes... are... well... utilitarian. For $20, you can't go wrong.

One word - Empanadas. Ok two words - Excellent Empanadas! Especially the chicken ones. But they have other stuff too like freshly baked bread and awesome donuts - rated #1 by blogTO in Scarborough. The donuts are a good value and what's best about it is the icing especially on the chocolate dip, Boston cream, vanilla dip, doesn't melt even in hot weather. The Boston cream's topping is also not sweet which is great. The ensaymada or Filipino Brioche is also quite excellent and a good value the more you buy. It is soft and topped off with butter, sugar and grated cheese. Goes really well with a coffee. Friendly service. The old school antique screen door adds a nice homely touch.

Port Union Bakery has a variety of delicious baked goods with very generous prices. Bring your kids and they might get a free donut hole. Personally my favourite treat would have to be the maple or sugar donut which is surprisingly only a dollar, you can get a dozen of donuts for $8.50!

Fresh pandecel. That's all this review really needs to say. Fresh, warm pandecel that tears off so softly. And that's just one of the myriad offerings with some items you'd typically find in an Asian bakery alongside western bakery items done right like butter tarts, carrot cake, croissants and more. Mom & Pop operation with all the tools of the trade visible and in use. Reminds me of my small town roots. As a new member of the neighbourhood, and someone that used to make a special trip to this bakery, I'll be making this a weekend routine to pick up fresh bread!

I've been talking my family for many years to the Port Union Bakery. From donuts to breads, empanadas, ( pork, chicken) and many other delights. The food is very high quality, tastes wonderful and is very reasonably priced. It great to have a local bakery to drop by on the way to work or take these goodies home for a treat.

Best kept secret in the Scarborough. Lived there since the 70's and they opened in 80's. Didn't discover this hidden gem til October 2021. The best baked goods donuts pastries and pies.Their ensaimadas are to die for. Great friendly service wished I had found this earlier.If you don't go you don't know what you're missing.

Best Donuts in all of Ontario and Canada. All hand made and so fresh. I worked in All donuts stores and made them for over 15 years. This owners knows how to make the best food and they make it fresh and traditional way. so this is one of the best bakery you have to eat. Also the home made breads and empanadas are amazing. Thank you for your making us a wonderful tasteful food you provide to us.

Just okay. Had a couple of donuts and both the chicken and spinach empanadas. The donuts were good, especially the Boston creme, but I'm not sure that they're better than donuts from elsewhere. I liked the crust on the empanadas, but the spinach seemed underseasoned and the chicken was filled with mostly potato as well as the odd raisin which I didn't care for. Bakery was small but well-stocked.

Excellent Boston cream donuts (& eclairs) - choc topping, filling, dough, and price! Had them several times: choc is thick, doesn't melt in bag, not too sweet; cream is tasty and enough spread throughout; nice soft dough base. Great product and deal for $1 each. Will be trying more menu items (Danishes, butter tarts, etc)... and friendly/helpful staff! ...recently tried: v good large choc chip cookies & oatmeal/raisin cookies!

Don't get me wrong, I like their coffee and bread. I used to buy it every day when I was in school. But it's the employees that I think are ignorant. I hate pulling out the race card, but if I'm being treated like a second class individual when I'm just as nice to them as anyone else, that would certainly piss me off. I would never go back there. In my opinion, we all should support our local business. But to be honest, these people don't deserve my business.

At the beginning of the 1980's we lived in the area & came regularly to this Bakery with our then young son. The owners at that time always shared a bakery item for him. We'd buy his favourite 'Gingerbread Man', we'd buy buns & bread. We moved away from the area for more than 35 years & have recently returned to live in West Rouge. Now retired we have come back to this amazing Bakery to buy our Buns, Bread & sweet treats a couple of times a week. Come check it out, buy a sweet, savory or bread item ... you will love it.

Our first visit here. I wish I had heard of this place sooner. I purchased Empanadas and Donughts and I had to pinch myself, I thought I had died and gone to heaven. Only downside is my workout will need to be revamped because I will be back tomorrow ???? I must try everything. Coconut butter tarts are up next.
