I highly recommend not shopping here as for one very slow customers service not forgetting the the rude attitude you will receive upon asking a question they don't like why can't the kitchen prepare some hot beverages for there security officers in this cold weather STANDING OUTSIDE!!!...the fact that the manager can say to my face every one knows it's cold don't mean I should spend my money in an company that can't be kind while selling FOOD...IT REALLY MAKES YOU WONDER DO THEY EVEN COOK WITH LOVE ?????❤️????????????

Vegetable patty is not for vegetarians. It has beef in it. What's the point of having a vegetable patty with beef juice when there are beef patties with vegetables already. Makes absolutely no sense.

Order large jerk chicken with rice and peas, and large jerk pork with rice and peas. Due to covid, they had closed for food well over a year. First time trying after covid. Gotta say, it's good but not as spicy as it used to be for jerk pork. Definitely better that other jerk places.

I was honestly really surprised at how good the food was here. They only do lunch until around 4. The patties aren't very good. The curry goat was super tender and flavourful, aswell as the rice and peas. I got the small goat, the serving was very good for $9 tax included. Would definitely recommend trying it, know people who have been going there for years and keep going back.

This is our favorite place to order large portions of stew chicken, curry chicken or oxtail stew when we entertain family and friends. Of course we enjoy their patties as snacks. This is a small place with limited parking. Not a restaurant. There is a stand up only eating area for takeout.

Tasty. Good place to get a good meal on the go. Avoid the lunch rush it gets packed really quickly and parking is hard. Service is fast ... especially if you know exactly what you want. It's cash only so don't make the mistake to stand in line and try and pay with debit. If you like peppers as for fresh peppers on the side... it will knock your boots off

Consistently good tasting patties along with an assortment of baked products including cocoa bread. Popular spot too to get your typical Caribbean food like jerk chicken or pork, oxtail with rice and peas etc. They have cut back on the cook food part of the business due to the pandemic but still offer patties and drinks. Fast service with friendly and polite staff.

I love this place. I ordered the soup today and received 2 pieces of meat one dumpling 2 pieces of yam and one piece of potato. Was really disappointed but it tasted good. I also ordered the jerk pork and jerk chicken and they were great. I would say they have the best ???? and peas. They use the piegeon/congo peas and it never disappoint. I always get extra gravy. The best thing about the meal is that it can feed two people as the small is a generous amount of food.

It was great food. I have never seen a place gets busy so fast. I walked in and it was empty. The place is take out only. There are a couple of high tables to grab a quick bite. I must mention the lady at the counter who helped me out. She was very nice. I got the beef patty and Roasted Chicken with rice beans. It was really good. The Jerk chicken is very delicious as well.

I'm lazy today, even though it was a short work week I will pick up delicious takeout again at this local Scarborough jerk hot spot! Remember to bring cash... It can get very busy at Patty King but it's worth the wait for jerk pork or chicken, curry goat, ox tail, rice & peas, and crispy oven fresh patties. You can enjoy the patties at home by purchasing frozen bulk; 1, 6 or 12 pack. I bought 6 hot beef patties. Friendly service and excellent food. Limited seating is available to dine in; most buy and run. Some parking found at the front but more spaces are at the back of this Progress Ave building.

Best tasting fresh patties and coca bread I've tasted in a very long time. And was very cheap as well. For 2 patties, 1 coca bread and a pop was only $3.30. You can't beat that. Only thing is. I should've bought 2 more patties. Lol lol.

From the exterior it doesn't appear to be greater place to eat, but never judged a book by its cover. The Jamaican food there is the best not only in quality but quantity. You get your belly full for a relatively low price. The patties are tasty with strong scotch bonnet flavour, not to mention delicious, jerk chicken the succulent jerk pork, juicy curry and stew chicken and I could go on. Can't loose, try it, guarantee you will not be disappointed.

This place has been around forever and they keep their quality control on point! I've eaten some of the best food that has ever entered my body at this location! The staff is friendly and accommodating, they always have what I'm looking for! I most particularly enjoy their beef patty in coco bread...they have very good pricing, I am sure they can offer good prices because they are a cash only business which makes sense. I have been going here for years whenever I'm in the area I make sure to swing by and pay them a visit! You should too! Enjoy!!!!

Cheap Price for Frozen/Seconds Patties (Hit or miss, can be stale on a few occasions). $6 a dozen for Seconds. Better to get a fresh dozen or single patty. Coco Bread is a great, usually pair it with a fresh patty. Out of all the Spicy Beef patties I have tried ( Michedean or Ja man/Tastee/Tinnels/Randy). This one beat the cake in terms of Heat. They sell other items that I have not tried. Oxtail is a favorite, hear it getting ordered many times. ------ The Patty King Patties sold in Groceries are not the same. even if they share the same logo/brand. The grocery Patty King (it was good in the 90's till they switched the formula) are absolute trash, it barely eeks ahead of Patty Palace. ----- The ones sold in the location are good.

In my opinion, after eating 1 Patty King patties out of a box of 12, I have decided not to buy this brand any more. I dumped it. My family thought I was crazy bringing this home. The meat tasted pasty and stuck together like old canned dog food. It also had no taste to it, no salt or pepper or seasonings. Try Michidean's Patties or Allan's Patties instead; you'll jump for joy. Save your hard earned money.

We decided to stop by after seeing this on the road (we’re not originally from Toronto) and I’m so glad we did. They only had mild patties left so we decided to grab a few of those and a bag of frozen spicy patties. The lovely lady at cash saw us dousing the mild patties with hot sauce and gave us a damaged spicy one that she couldn’t sell. What a thoughtful gesture. Prices were amazing!!! Will definitely be back.

I asked for 2 small jerk pork dinners. When I got home I found out they gave me 2 small jerk chicken dinners - I live near Caledon by the way - I called the store to let them know and this is what Tony told me. "What, you don't like chicken?" I told him that's not the point. I asked to speak to Tiffany, the young girl that served me. He said she is part-time and she can't come to the phone. I asked to speak to the Manager, he said that he will pass on the message. I asked him to put my name in the book so that next time when I come in he can replace the order. He said he don't know. He didn't even take my number or name. I guess that's what you get from a restaurant that only takes cash.

The best and the most affordable jerk chicken jerk pork and rice and peas. However you had better know the rules before you come here! Read! Jerk chicken and jerk pork rice meals are only available from 11:30 AM until 4 PM (sold out by 3pm) Monday to Friday, not available on Saturday. Closed on Sunday. Cash only! Parking is a nightmare! But if you can make it to the counter to order it's the best I've ever had !!!!!

Initially started going for the patties and happened to be go one time at lunch, tried the meals and we're hooked so whenever we can get lunch we do!!

Their patties are one of the best, but their service is absolutely horrible. Went in with my mom last week and ordered 4 patties around closing time. When we got to our destination, we noticed that there were only 3 patties in the bag (but we were charged for 4). Since the store was already closed, that next morning we called and spoke with the manager/owner to inform him what happened, so that it could be avoided in the future. We really we’re all that upset over it, as the party costs less than $2. To our surprise, upon explaining the situation to the manager, he become extremely defensive and his response was “well, you should have checked your bag before you left”, rather than investigating or apologizing offering to make it up to us. We were so turned off by his response that we didn’t even bother going back there, and in the future will be buying our patties elsewhere.

I stopped by after work for some jerk chicken, but they were all out! Got the oxtail instead...so delicious! The meat was well-seasoned and cooked to perfection. I also got a spicy beef patty..brought back memories of my high school days! This spot is mainly a takeout spot, but there are a couple of tables for a quick dine-in option. Very limited parking at the front, but there's more at the back. Great service and great food!
