Literally have the best Pizza in the city. Amazing Italian pizza so it's not your typica North American pizza shop so dont come if you want North American pizza. They have around 20 different types of pizzas to choose from and they all are good. They also have a bakery that sells really good tasting Danishes. Very clean and really nice interior look. Would highly recommend their pizza

Their pastry is good but the customer service can improve. If you have a 2 meter distance sticker in your store and customers are following the 2 meter distance I dont see why you need to kick out customer to wait outside who have been waiting patiently. Telling us to wait outside is fine but there is a nice way to speak to people. Specially paying customers.

I really enjoy all of the breads and sweet and savoury treats at Christie's. Their recent expansion is lovely and they're open evenings for pizza and beer dates. However, they have one major problem that has been unsolved for the three years I've lived in Saskatoon. I have *never* once had hot food here. Pizzas, paninis, sausage rolls, etc. are always cold. I think this is because their food/pizza dough is made in advance and kept in the fridge, then re-heated, mostly in the wood-fired oven. It's become so frustrating that I will not order hot food to stay because it will never ever be served hot. Seriously, please do something about that!

Christies Il Secundo is owned and operated by the same family that runs Christies Mayfair Bakery which provides Saskatoon's finest artisan bread hands down! There is a reason there is regularly a lineup out the door and it's worth the wait. Not only is the bread here amazing, so are their pizzas, sandwiches and specialty coffees. The owners are amazing people who care about their staff and customers. They put a lot of effort into delivering the best ingredients and service. If you're looking for the best bread in Saskatoon, then stopping here is a must!

I buy baguettes here often. They are delicious and of superior quality but... But... The store does not stock enough product. This week it was closed by noon because they had sold out. Often I will come at 3:00 and find nothing left. What about all the people who'd like to pick up something on their way home from work? The management needs to accept that there will be a little end of day loss and keep their shelves full. I now find myself hesitant to go there because it may be another wasted trip.

One of my favorite bakeries in saskatoon. Great place to go if you want sour dough. I'd highly recommend the bear claws and the cinnamon twists if you want some semi sweet pastries. Their food is always so amazing as well with fresh ingredients in their paninis and pizzas. Large selection of coffee/tea too. I love coming here either to study or for a lunch date. The atmosphere is laid back with pleasing decor and extremely friendly staff. They're always very quick with food and drink even when it is busy. I have nothing but good things to say about Il Secondo.

Got a pizza and a house salad. Bianca al prosciutto pizza was good, ingredients were fresh, although the pizza was slightly smaller than what I remember from last time (don't quote me on that). Salad was good, but nothing special about it. However it was over $30 for this, which is not worth it. Stick to just a pizza and forego the salads.

It's situated in a nice area, and the service is pretty quick. This is one of the few places that I trust to make good Italian cuisine, seeing as quite a few places can't get it right. As a neighbour, I am a frequent patron of Christies Il Secundo and can honestly say I've always had great experiences. The food quality is second to none and you'll be hard-pressed to find better baked goods anywhere. The food is always fresh, tastes delicious, and I've tried a large number of things on the menu. My kids LOVE the margarita pizzas and ginger molasses cookies. However, favourite items are the almond croissants, cannoncini... or is asiago garlic sourdough? To hard to say for sure because it depends on what I'm craving. However their baguettes, farmhouse buns and their Americano coffes keep me running back frequently. They are a family-owned, multi-generation business and you can tell because everyone cares deeply about your experience from the moment you walk through the door. During this unfortunate pandemic, the owners and staff have really gone out of their way to ensure everyone is safe and keep stocked up with some of their most popular items. And they now deliver, too! The very reason I wrote this review is that I dropped in recently to pickup a few items and the baguettes hadn't arrived. I would have been disappointed but instead was delighted that they said no worries... we'll drop one off at your door. Shortly thereafter, our baguette arrived. Though it only lasted seconds in our household, three of us devoured it quickly. I really can't say enough about this restaurant and highly recommend you try it for yourself if you're contemplating a visit.

Saskatoon has never been a terribly romantic city, but there is nothing better than sitting down with my sweetheart and sharing small plates here in the evenings. It has become our date-night spot. Moreover, the breads are some of the best around, complimented by their sandwich and pizza selection. Everything is fresh, perfect and, for an Italian in the prairies, the closest thing to Nonna's cooking.

I exclusively eat bread from Christie's since I live very close. I can't buy grocery store bread now because it's bland and texturally gross to me. Il Secondo has great pizza, the crust really makes it. It's a bit pricey, but obviously not to the point that I won't go there.

Yesterday after two medical appointments I dropped by at Christies Il Secondo for their delightful marinara thin slice authentic Italian pizza. The pizza and coffee were great but it was disappointing to receive the coffee in a disposable cup and given plastic utensils. Very disappointing. My friend mentioned it was like eating at an institutional cafeteria. Food was great, service and experience very poor. ????
