Absolutely one of the best bakeries you will ever come across. From sweet baked treats (cinnamon buns to die for) to breads, buns and much more. A cafe as well, you can sit and enjoy a gourmet coffee or tea or regular and enjoy your morning (or afternoon treat) in the warm environment with delicious aromas wafting about. A definate must go.

Wonderful baking made fresh daily. Small town bakery with fresh donuts and treat. Try cinnamon knots and Apple turnovers. Yumm! PS. You'll love their "buns"

The fact that we drove 2 hours out of our way (one way!) tells you how much a visit to Watrous Bakery & Coffee Shop is worth. The Boston Creme donuts are worth it alone--but everything we've tried there has also been fabulous. My daughter loves the iced coffee, and the Americano is also great. Other than coffee and donuts there is a good selection of baked goods, even soup for a light lunch (only one type of soup to choose from; we had the delicious green Thai curry chicken). As with any bakery, the earlier in the morning, the better the selection (we cheated this time--we called ahead and asked them to save us some Boston cremes, which they gladly did)!

Really great little spot. We stopped by for some breakfast and we were fed really well. While they still can improve on their savory items, their doughnuts worth the drive. They make classic doughnuts without any fancy additions, but they make them on a very high level. We had an apple fritter and a lemon doughnut and both were fantastic.

A lovely eat in bake shop. The decor was well done and interesting with a nod to history. The cream horn I had was excellent with just the right amount of pastry to cream with tasty sugar crystals on top. I will be going back.

This place sells the best extra large raisin brands muffins ever. But if you are not here early in the morning you may as well forget about having choices from the display case, as they run out fast and don't fill up again.

I heard from the locals that this place was the goods, I was not disappointed, if you are lucky enough to come when the apple fritters are still warm be sure to get one, as this was a life changing donut for me, I had the first bite of crispy sugary warm luxurious fritter and the world seemed to stop..........a light shone down from the heavens and everything went quiet........... I will forever be searching for that first bite again

This is one of those places that you are so glad you stumbled on. The pastries are So so delicious! I would say that the apple fritters were the very best that I have ever tasted. The long johns with chocolate! Delicious!! I had a taste of a cinnamon bun and guess what! The best and tastiest!! In our party of four, we agreed hands down that the pastries here are superior. On our first visit, we had the chicken Thai soup. Very good! Full of flavour and just the right amount of spice.

But, how do expect to run a successful bidness when you don’t smile at your customers and make it clear you’re thankful people spend their hard earned money at your establishment. The customer service needs a lot of work.
