This Bakery corresponds to the category of Bakery.
This place is a little bit pricey
Love all the pastries. I took 1 star off because I tried the Wednesday bagels and they were hard as a rock?! I know people say they love the bagels so I was truly confused!
By far the best baking and pastry in Saskatoon...aaand each Friday is pizza night!
Don't miss Friday night pizza
Best baked goods in town!
Love the attention the quality. Hopefully, they direct some of that to the service soon.
Red Fife and Spelt are low yielding hard red varieties that piss on the environmental benefits of plant breeding. No goats milk lattes? Disappointing if you know anything about agriculture and food production.
Definitely the best bakery in Saskatoon. The croissants are excellent as are their breads. The only limitation is they frequently sell out of items so unless you arrive early in the morning you may not be able to get exactly what you want.
out of this world. absolutely incredible. one must/needs to have the canale here.
Local bakery selling delicious breads and pastries. Small sitting area and coffee selection as well. Highly recommend
Best item of bakery is available is here
Awesome bakery to visit. One of the first places I recommend people check out in the city.
I always have had great service here and I love their bread - Friday night pizzas are a favorite as well!
A wonderful and clean atmosphere, excellent quality baked goods and coffee creations, with something for everyone, no matter the taste preference. Hot fresh breads baked every morning, with daily special unique creations (today was a Honey Walnut Raisin loaf). They put a little love in everything they do, well worth the visit, and re-visit!
Best croissants in town, by a mile
Pizza is amazing!!!
Fantastic bread and pastries! If you're looking for delicious bread and delectable pastries then look no further!
This bakery has an amazing choice of baked goods including croissants, scones, baguettes , and sourdough. They have their own source for grain which they grind themselves. One can order ahead. The tastes are amazing. A great change from the cardboard textures and flavors from most industrial bakeries. Staff are friendly and helpful. The sourdough is especially amazing and a good find for those on special diets.
Absolutely delicious!
The Pizzas are delightful....interesting combinations that totally work.
Best ingredients make the best products!
best secret spot in saskatoon with great bread and great coffee. the bambinocinno is great.
Great bakery in City Park! The bread and coffee here is great and my whole family loves the pastries.
Fantastic quality baked goods! A bit pricey but the quality is there 100%!
Best bakery in the city! For every bite, you'll know their pastries are made from thorough process and careful baking. Plus they also have Venn coffee beans which I love! This bakery is worth looking for within the busy streets of downtown.
The happiest thing is to come here and have a big meal.
This is one of my go to places in Saskatoon! The daily sandwiches are incredible! And they have the best bread of I have ever eaten!
my favorite are the buckwheat sables. something simple and profound about them. all the breads are excellent.
Great sandwiches and baked goods!
The brioche tarts and bostock are a must try! This biz puts a lot of care and attention into everything they do. They work to better the community they occupy and make damn good bread and pastries while they do it. Highly recommended.
A must stop every time I get to Saskatoon. Love the vegan sausage rolls!
The whole family enjoyed croissants, sausage rolls, some other savoury tarts as well as dessert. Friendly service and delicious baked goods. Worth a trip or two!
I got my first loaf of bread from Night Oven in the late afternoon, and I have never been more tempted to have a loaf of bread for dinner - it was that good.
We ordered pizza from the Night Oven for the first time tonight and it was fantastic. The dough was the perfect texture and super tasty. The ingredients were fresh and flavourful. We ate our slices so quickly we were basically just standing next to the open box. Absolutely recommend these pizzas, can’t wait to eat more from their menu.
I've never tasted a better croissant.
As soon as you open the door you are in another world for your olfactory.
Good experience.
A hidden gem. Great coffee. Fancy baked goods.
Best pizza in the city on Friday nights, quiet at lunch and great coffee.
Tried croissants and blueberry/custard treats - delicious! You don't even need to add anything to the croissants they were perfect on their own!
Absolutely love their sourdough bread, pastries and of course the pizza! So happy they are in my neighborhood.
Super choked that the Night Oven is only open during the day. Bryn is a stunning example of a bright young man! #superimpressedyo
Amazing local bakery
Beautifully and attentively crafted breads and pastries. Thank you for being open on Sundays. Great coffee too.
Wow! No other bakery compares. Freshly ground organic flour, products cooked in wood fired oven. To die for! Favorite is the sourdough bread. And love baked lemon tarts & others. Very impressed! Service always wonderful too.
Over priced not very tasty
My favorite bakery. They put an emphasis on quality, local, organic ingredients, which is reflected in their outstanding flavor. My daughter loves the canelé (only place in the city to get one I think), and I love the croissants and focaccia bead. Great coffee (from local roster, Venn), and pizza on Fridays is a nice treat.
Best bread/pastries in town and an A+ business owner to boot.
So good
I love this bakery. Always great selection and a fabulous cup of coffee too!
Delicious pastries, but don't get here too late in the day or you will be disappointed with the lack of inventory. The breakfast croissants are fantastic.
Night Oven IS A DREAM. My favourites are the pear cardamom pastry. They have great croissants and sourdough bread. The bread stays moist and chewy all week. However, I find the bottom crust can be a little burnt and thick, due to the wood fire oven. But I highly recommend this place for all your bakery needs!
Awesome baked goods. Highly recommend.
Swung by this place recently and the products were delicious! Everything is made in-house and are priced competitively. The location is behind SGI’s main office on 2nd so it could be hidden but nothing that the GPs can’t solve. I ordered a few assorted pastries and will definitely be back!
I go every Friday for their special pizza night. The crust is to die for and the toppings are always different and very unique. This place is a little bit pricey but you pay for the quality.
Sourdough spelt...where else?
Very friendly. Good selection of pastries both sweet and savory
A must. Absolutely beautiful bread. My one year old is currently stuffing her face with the Red Fife bread.
The pastries were great!
So good I just cant get enough
Love everything we've tried :-) definitely a place worth checking out! Haven't had the pizza yet, but have tried quite a few different breads and pastries. All delicious, amazing quality food!
The pretzels and in house mustard are my Fave
I love the Night Oven Bakery. Items are more expensive than other bakery's but well worth it! An enormous amount of care, attention, and detail is put into the bread and pastries. The breads are delicious and have great texture being made in their traditional oven. The pastry treats are super good as well.
Amazing place. Now I have to always Go! To die for!
I cannot say it was not good, I cannot say it was good! We had one cherry galette and one pear croissant. The cherry was so sweet and smelled eggy and buttery. Not my type. A little pricey but worth once. I should try their pizza’s once.
best brownie in town, hands down
Amazing baked goods but you'll pay well for it.
Man, this place smells smokie! I found it annoying plus our clothes smelled like smoke for a couple hours after we were there, we were there for maybe 10 minutes as there were several people ahead of us. Got sour dough which is good, haven't tried the rye bread yet, both are huge loaves. Beware, they do not slice bread. Also, their website and in store menu both have errors - they no longer make the regular rye. I wanted to try some pastries but they are a bit pricey. I would go back if someone goes in for me.
Service was quick and friendly and the food was very good. The prices may be a little high but the product is worth it.
Awesome fresh baking!!
The Night Oven Bakery is considered one of the city's staples for baking. If it isn't, it should be. Loaves are a bit more expensive than your grocery store loaves, but the quality also matches the price. The flour is stone milled in-house, breads are sourdough leavened without the use of commercial yeasts and baked in a wood-fired oven, pastries are whole grain, everything is delicious. The wheat milled for flour is all grown in Saskatchewan. If there ever was a local bakery/patisserie, this is it. Even the wood-fired oven was hand-built by Bryn. This is a business that will be here for years to come. So you may as well eat good food for those years.
The best bakery in town, the croissants are to die for
Absolutely delicious!
The best
Chocolate rye cookie
Everything I've tried has been super delish... My fave are the croissants.
Best bakery in Town, price is on the higher side, but it is really good! Pizza only on Friday @5pm sharp(they won't serve you even 4:59pm, but worth the wait! )and Brioche only on Saturday!
Never been to this Bakery it was fantastic!! it was a little treat since I just got out of the hospital after 10 days and I wanted to treat before I went home thank you so much we will definitely be back thank you so much!
The largest pain au chocolate we have ever seen! Dark chocolate to balance the rivhness of the pastry. Sample of the canelle bourdeaux (?) was lovely too. Small seating area indoors and some seating outdoors. Seems like a good spot for a weekly bakery visit.
Such a great bakery! On Fridays, they make spelt bread and it's about the only carb my husband will eat!!
Stopped to buy some rye flour, which has made some delicious breads at home, while there bought a ham and cheese croissant... I am still dreaming of it three weeks later, high quality ingredients, as they did not cheap out on the ham or cheese, and the croissant was so flaky and delicious! Can not wait to return for more!
I’ve only visited the Night Oven to pick up their Saturday brioche loaves, but hope to sample more of their items in the future.
The Night Oven is a great little bakery. My wife and I often slip in on a saturday morning for a coffee and a croissant.
Olive loaf on Fridays!
Fantastic coffee and bread. Friendly service. Wish they had more vegan options for snacks but what they do offer is delicious
We were in town and just decided to search spelt bread and found this little gem. My girls loved the bread. It was a hearty artizan loaf so I would probably only need to buy one next time.
Good treats
They make the best croissants in Saskatoon!!
Real food!
Great coffee and allergen friendly items!
Great service and better bread, must check this place out!
One of the Best bakery in city, worth trying.I tried many bakeries but the products here are the best and not very sweet so that you can feel the flavours.
Bryn has created something lovely here. As a lover of all things bread, I am happy to go well out of my way to pick up one of the many varieties that are available at The Night Oven. The weekly pizza selections are always unique and full of flavour. I’ve not tried their sandwiches but can be rest assured that the use of quality ingredients and attention to flavour will make a sandwich that can not be beat.
Best bread in town! Make sure to check out their cinnamon raisin loaf on Sundays!
Croissants ????
After working and school me and the boys decided to seek our fortune in pastry, we traveled across town to discover what new flavors we could introduce to our thriving pallets, to our surprise the night Oven was sitting in the corner. We only had half an hour to make our way before it was closed. the thought ran through my mind why would it be called night oven bakery when it's closed at night. Probably because they do all the baking at night I think I'm happy with that answer. Inside we were greeted with a friendly smiley face and we tried a delicious new French pastry.
Big fan of thier sourdough bread ???? baked fresh each day.
Got there late in pm the baking was good some items were sold out will have to go earlier next time and there will be a next time ad it was good and the staff made you feel welcome
It's ridiculous how good night oven is. Best sourdough and best baguettes around.
Amazing. These people love their jobs and I love this place. ❤️
The bread and pastries are amazing!!!!!
This bakery has the best bread in the city! I recommend the olive bread or the Saskatoon sourdough! The pizza on friday nights is also amazing :)
Fantastic pastries and the pizza is to die for! Can’t wait to go back!
The canelé is just perfect. And that's coming from someone who grew up near Bordeaux. The rocher was also amazing.
We received dark fruit cake (which we hadn't eaten in years). It was the best we've ever had. Too bad we live in Ontario.
The review is for the employee who doesn't respect the business and uses it as its own music festival. The music is very loud and makes it not so inviting. The one staff member with the glasses is super rude and makes it a very uncomfortable to be in the business.
Enjoyed a life changing croissant on my lunch break. I recommend you do the same.
Amazing locally produced food and outstanding coffee. Today was my first visit. I will definitely be going back. I love the value proposition that The Night Oven offers. Local ingredients crafted into delectable food.
Very friendly staff, great in store baking. Nice coffee, lattes. Easy parking.
Best breads ever!
I was so happy to find in Saskatoon a small bakery similar just like in Paris France. Lovely.
A nice little Brooklyn style coffee shop/bakery. Located just outside the downtown core. There's ample parking & features a pleasant outdoor seating area that's open on favourable days. The pastries are remarkable ... like Paris quality remarkable! If you can't make up your mind Go with the option that is least familiar.
Best croissants in Saskatoon.
Love this place. It is such a little gem. Bit pricy compared to other bakeries but worth it. Taste amazing. Quality is just another level.
Picked up a sandwich for lunch today... delicious. I will definitely be back to try the pizza and breads.
Best pizza in the city
Cool little hidden gem
Awesome taste ????
One of the very best bakery around.
The best bakery ever. Haven't had any food there that was anything but amazing.
Coolest little “hidden” gem in the city with the best pastries and bread. My favourites are the ham and cheese croissant and the fruit galettes. DROOOOL. 10/10 recommend.
This is my favorite bakery, but lately the baguettes always seem to be slightly burnt. Otherwise, I love it!
Just had a Flat White equivalent from Night Oven... Oh My! Soooo smooth. The barrista knew exactly what to do. Two huge thumbs up for them... The lemon crumble tart was probably the best lemon pastry that I have ever had! Not too sweet with tons of flavour...
Really cozy atmosphere! Loved it!
Great little bakery with delicious treats, sandwiches and coffee.
Delicious ????
Great pizzas and the most flavorful focaccia I have ever had..... wonderful staff too!
Delicious cakey cookies in innovative flavours. We especially enjoyed the Black Forest. A delicious treat
A friend of mine brought me some canale de bordeaux all the way to Edmonton , they were amazing !!
I ordered their Pizza last Friday ! It was amazing. Great service. Such a small beautiful authentic gem in the corner in downtown ????
Its worth checking out! Just a small area to make purchases, but bread is baked right there, and sourdough is as good or better than Boudin's of San Francisco! You can also purchase specialty flour and theres a selection of amazing French pastries. Not an over-hyped chain store or cafè. Its a real bakery.
Best bakery in Saskatoon!!
Love their red fife bread, 100% whole wheat bread and the bagels are awesome and chewy like a bagel should be!
Wood stove
Great place to come for my morning coffee before walk along river. Love the smell of bakery, music and staff with great energy first thing in morning makes me smile.
Best bread
The best
Front service didn't have one answer to questions asked about products. Worse she didn't bother to say, "I'll get an answer for you." If you want to provide a good service, the front person should know the products. Macaroons were ok! But I won't buy as a gift since it was a hit and miss with the variety pack. Some were hard! Since there are only 5 some is too many too hard. Red fife bread was worth the trip. Baguette was better than other places in town. Average.
Ive been there twice now. Great croissants, and had probably one of the best mochas in town. Quality did change a bit depending on barista. Can't believe it took me so long to hear about this place. Only wish they had a few more breakfast items like a sandwich, and were open earlier, 730 seems late for a bakery and prevents me from going here more often, which is a shame. Otherwise great, check it out!
For bread, this place is number 1. For croissants, this place is number 1. For bagels, yes, again, it's number 1.
On the pricey end of things. Great baked goods. They also sell espresso based drinks, and sweets/savoury treats, as well as cold sandwiches.
Awesome had the best sourdough I have had since I moved to Canada.
Wonderful place to visit and delicious baking!
Great place for a quiet coffee and delicious bite.
I like their bread but the customer service is poor.
Came in on a whim with a friend. Saw a friend. Had a great snack made by a friend. Couldn't have asked for more.
I'm always late for much selection but love the patience with me making a selection. Picked up a red fife loaf.
Great selection of bakery products. We love the fresh bread and friendly staff. If you want to support local businesses, this a a great place to go.
Delicious bread, pastries, and positive vibes.
Great home made bread!
