Charming neighbourhood bakery that's all about the doughnuts. I mean, sure, they do sell pie and bread, but the moment you enter your mind is clouded by all those racks of doughnuts and you kind of forget about everything else. Long johns? Doughnut holes? Nester's Bakery is hands down the best place to get donuts (and most other baked goods) in the city. Their food is reasonably priced, delicious, and they are so easy to work with. We had them make us several dozen donuts for our wedding, and they were able to customize them for us and were flexible with order and pickup times.

I drove across the city to buy pizza pretzels that my son had at his school on Monday and was greeted by a rude older lady. When I asked if they had pizza pretzels I was told rudely that they don't have those.. Odd seeing my sons school just had a huge order filled from this bakery a few days prior. I then asked about cinnamon buns and was told they don't have those either so I walked out... What kind of bakery is this? They don't have anything but a bad attitude.

Long john i had was amazing. Service was wierd. They couldnt tell me yesterday whether the woman would make us our order or not. When i was there the woman yelled at an employee (a young man who didnt seem rude) and she pounded on something. Overall an odd experience.

I went to Nestor's in the early afternoon on a Saturday. I bought a pizza bun for $2 (to give you an idea of price). The pizza bun was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere left a bit to be desired, but the machinery and spilled flour added to the authenticity of the community bakery feel. You definitely feel like you're helping the local economy when you shop here! Only 4 stars because the selection wasn't huge, but you'll find most of what you're looking for from a bakery, and fresh. If I want fresh bread in town, this is definitely where I'd go.

Worst customer service experience I’ve encounter in a long time! Extremely rude lady on the phone. She called to let us know our order wouldn’t be delivered on the day we had booked it for. We had a family supper planned that we then had to change plans for. We told them we would just cancel our order since they couldn’t deliver it. They didn’t refund the credit card and when we phoned back to ask about it. The rude lady was on the phone again and was shocked that we were asking about a refund! As if we were just going to donate $55 dollars to them when we didn’t receive anything!!! When they wouldn’t refund us we had to speak to someone other than the rude lady and asked that they then deliver our original order on another date. The man did apologize and offered to throw in some extras. The address to deliver was given three separate times, but yet on delivery day got another call from the very rude lady asking if we were going to come pick up our order. We said no, it was to be delivered, and her response was “well it would nice if we had a address!” To which we then gave it a FOURTH time. The baking from this bakery is decent, however, we will never order from them again and certainly will not recommend them to anyone due to the horrible customer service we encountered. They clearly need to hire someone new to answer the phones and a better way to keep track of orders and deliveries. And to refund clients if they cannot fulfill the order!!

I'm still waiting for a refund for items I didn't receive. I spoke with a rude lady over the phone & being ignored over FB messanger is awesome. I mean you know we can see when you've read it. If you can receive Etransfers then you can definitely send them. Way to not right your wrongs.????

Very rude customer service. I called at 10 in the morning asking how much 3 dozen cupcakes would cost and I was told the price. Then I asked if they had 36 cupcakes, she responded No in a very rude tone. I then asked if they could make them and said I could pick them up late in the afternoon and again she very rudely replied No. She then goes Is that everything? and I said yes and apologized for wasting her time and she hung up on me ???? Not impressed!!!

Not only is the owner is very community minded and amaizing, the Staff is also very friendly. The big perk are their long johns! I don't think I could ever eat a doughnut from Tim hortons again after these! They are very tasty. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars is because when I walked in, there was no menu or book with idems to buy and prices. I found it a little confusing what was offered to order. Inspite of that I could smell the fresh bread baking and the food is definitely 5 stars+! This bakery had a small town feel to it and it was an enjoyable experience.

To start if there was a zero star option they would get it because I walked in the display case was empty the employee walked up to me and said what do you need and I asked if they had any donuts she said NOPE in a rude way and walked to the back no apologie for the inconvenience nothing then I was looking at another rack of discount bread when she came out and said can I help you in a rude way again as if I was wasting her time I said no and she went to the back and was talking to an other employee and all I could hear was F*** this and F*** him talking about someone else but it is very unprofessional to talk like that when a customer can hear will never shop here again I hope they run out of business because they sure as hell dont care about their customers

Bread and donuts! Nothing finer. Coconut long johns are amazing. They make different breads and pastries. Best plan is to order ahead. They are popular. I have arrived late and been denied long johns. Avoid sadness and buy extra!

I had to remind the worker that he didn't ring in half of my order. Then they couldn't take my payment by credit card because the machine was saying the line was busy...I pointed this out to the staff, who just walked away. The staff then took a phone order, and after I waited for that, they still couldn't process my transaction. The staff tried precisely nothing to figure out what was going on, and would not look at me. I used to subscribe to their boxes, but we cancelled our subscription, because they were organizationally challenged. The products are good, but I'm not sure they are interested in their customers. This rating should be zero stars, I simply didn't get any service, despite patiently waiting, and repeated attempts to engage the staff. Nor did they apologize or attempt any solution whatsoever.

Ordered a package for deliver and was told it was to be delivered within a 24 hour period product never came when I called the lady said she couldn't help me as she doesn't deal with online things I asked if I could speak to someone who is she gave me the owners number. When called him he his staff told them I swore at them which never happened and he went on to say that they tried to call and deliver but no attempt was made either on phone or at house as there was someone at home owner got irate and upset very poor customer service also refused to refund me stating that they would deliver the next day ☹️ would never order from them again until customer service is better

The donuts here are fantastic! My sons school orders them for their fundraising events. So I went down to the location to see for myself. Found the display cases to be on the empty side but I also went in the late afternoon. The young man who helped us at the front counter was patient and kind. If you want a great old fashioned, homemade donut with REAL glaze this is your place!

I have been trying since I placed an order on March 26th to get the 1 dozen cinnamon buns I ordered. They did not arrive on the 28th as promised. Then they did not arrive on the 30th as promised. I had to pay up front and have never received what I paid for. Today is April 9th and they couldn’t tell me if they had cinnamon buns or not. I keep very politely asking and get no response other than an offer of would I take over-baked goods. I will continue to politely try to get what I have paid for. Extremely poor customer service.
