Christie's on 33rd is incredible! The staff are honesty, friendly, and quick and all of the baked goods are delicious. The sourdough bread is especially fantastic, such a crispy crust with soft break on the inside. Chocolate croissants (fresh & buttery) and chocolate chip cookies (thick and chewy) are amazing. Prairie grain bread is a staple in my house. MMMMMM highly recommended.

They were very helpful and kind when we went into the store. Me and classmates went for a tour of the facility and they answered all of our questions in a very professional and thorough way. They allowed us to watch them bake and showed as all the equipment needed. Also their baking tastes amazing and has some very unique tastes and healthy alternatives.

Used to eat here quite regularly, but a friend of mine used the restroom one day on a morning coffee/pastry run and it was filthy. Can't even imagine what the kitchen must look like. Yuck!

Christies Mayfair Bakery provides Saskatoon's finest artisan bread hands down! There is a reason there is regularly a lineup out the door and it's worth the wait. Not only is the bread here amazing, so are their pizzas, sandwiches and specialty coffees served at their second location called Christies Il Secundo just off Broadway Avenue. The owners are amazing people who care about their staff and customers. They put a lot of effort into delivering the best ingredients and service. If you're looking for the best bread in Saskatoon, then stopping here is a must!

Best bakery in Saskatchewan IMO. Nails the baguette and croissant, and does a large variety of specialty breads and sweets as well. Odd hours - closed Sunday & Monday (perhaps they will reconsider). Picture on the wall shows they opened in 1932 and gradually built onto and expanded the building.

The best bakery in the city with an excellent selection of breads and pastries. My favourites are the rosemary olive oil sourdough and the roasted garlic asiago sourdough. The sandwiches, which are prepared daily, are delicious and convenient. They sell out quickly though so get there early for the best selection. On Thursdays from 11-2, they serve delicious meat and vegetarian pizzas with a chewy crust.

Have been ordering bread for over 10 years at this place. Best bread in town. Up till today. A lady there advising that they will not take any orders less than 2 days in advance ????? Never have I been told that. Pretty ignorant for someone who’s only been there 2 years.

Friendly staff for sure. Everything was so incredibly dried out I'm so ticked off. Bought a poppy seed croissant sort of. Very dried out. The cinnamon buns were okay, quite bready, not very gooey, and I don't know how old this Ginger Snap cookie is. But you could break something with it. Waste of money.

the sweet stuff is fairly good and the bread is to die for, don't get any sandwhiches because they are always old tasting and lukewarm. the service is below average at best. no smiles, no happiness, just "what can i get you" said emotionless and slightly irritated.

We absolutely love Christie's and are regular customers. The ladies working there are super friendly and there is a sense of community where it is common to see regular customers greeted on a first name basis. We walk there every Saturday to get our bread (prairie grain), an almond croissant and a Gianduja (chocolate hazelnut pastry)...and often for a cappuccino or latte. Thanks ladies!

By far the best, most community minded and pleasant to work and shop at bakery in Saskatoon. That's based on almost 3 decades of shopping there and interacting with the owners and their staff, for whom they still make the (likely) financial sacrifice of providing a proper two-day weekend.
