This is my preferred grocery store. It is very clean and well-stocked. Their produce is fresh and often local. The aisles are wide and they have taken every precaution to allow for physical distancing. However, I find that other customers often don’t take the precautions they should. Unfortunately, many don’t wear masks and are not good about keeping their distance. This happens in many stores, not just here, so I gave the store the excellent rating they deserve.

This is a sprawling grocery store whose original claim to fame was being 24hours, which was a rarity for Saint John. Recently, they changed that policy and now close at 11, meaning there no really good benefit to shopping here over other nearby options found in Walmart or No Frills.

On the P.A announcement in the store. Sobey's claims that's during this new normal of covid, that our health, safety and well being is their number one priority .. If this true. Why is it that they still sell all those sugar loaded soft drink? Which is the leading cause to obesity and cancer.. I feel offended when I hear lies like this form a major corporation. It is obvious to me anyways, that profits come first not the health of our public. In reality people come second and health all depends on the individual. I love the fact that theirs a bakery inside the store as well at a meat department and a cold/hot, made and ready food area. The sales prices are usually pretty great but overall Sobeys is pricy. I would have given this 5 stars but I find they never have enough cashiers on and you're waiting in lines with 2 or 3 people ahead of you which gets crowded.

It's a grocery store. The meat is overpriced compared to local Butcher shops, but it is rarely crowded. The flow of the store makes more sense than the Sobeys at East Point, on the other side of the city and that can make all the difference.

I love Sobeys because they always have the best selection of produce and dairy. The prices are a little bit of a expensive but the only have the best selection of produce and dairy products in my opinion. This is a really great location for stopping at. It's usually not hard to get a parking spot and it doesn't take long to through the checkout. I like their unbelievable prices and great selection on all the products.you will always find great selection on all the products that are at this location.

This is a medium-sized grocery store consistent with the Sobeys chain, which can be found around the Atlantic provinces. The store offers fresh produce and meats, an in-store bakery, and typical offerings of dairy, frozen, and packaged foods as well as a small pharmacy. There is a small selection of international foods. Occasionally there are classes in cooking or dietary information sessions held in-store. I've always found the cashiers and other staff very helpful and cheery.

The only thing we found is sometimes when we go in to get Compliments brand of potato chips aren't stocked especially the lightly salted plain chips. Also the bags seem to be only 1/2 full or more of air.. Also the last bottle of Compliments sweet mixed pickles we bought seem to have a different taste to them and they aren't as crunchy and tastes as they usually are. Have they changed something in the processing or pickling recipe? We also have a question as to why they are made in India? We love compliments brands and buy them over the big name brands because they are cheaper are the same quality and taste as the big brands. Like shopping at Sobeys

Typical Sobeys. Larger selection at this location. Just make sure you always check the expiry dates. Was there last week and the orange just I was buying out of 15 at least we're expires by months. Not the first time this has happened. I've learned to always just check the dates on everything now. Sobeys prices are high so if I'm paying a lot of money for groceries they better not be expired.

Lately the amount of sheer panhandling has been excessive. You enter the front door and there is a booth setup for donations, you got through the cash and they ask if you want to make a donation, then you leave and there is another group asking for money. Im sorry but this is not a charity, its a grocery store. If i want to support these charities i will approach them.
