What's not to love about The Frosted Cupcake? They make the most delicious cupcakes around with the best flavors (chocolate covered strawberry is a fave!) and I love the icing to cupcake ratio ????

Both their Google hours and voicemail say they're open until 6:00pm on Tuesdays and I even tried calling ahead, but after racing to get there from work, they were already closed. At ten to 6:00pm. If they're closing early they should at the very least say so on their Facebook Page the day of.

Outstanding!! I have used the Frosted Cupcake on several occasions. Most recently for my moms surprise 60th birthday. They were a hit! The cupcakes and icing are amazing! So moist and flavourful! Carrot is a favourite at our house:) My daughter chose to have her 6th birthday party at the cupcake shop. The kids were well entertained with making fondant and decorating their very own cupcakes that she even said she would like to have her next birthday there! The customer service is also amazing. Highly recommend the frosted cupcake!

Best bakery and cupcake shop. You will be hard pressed to find a cupcakery with more flavour choices and you can order gluten free and vegan options. I was impressed by this as I have a family member who is usually left out at birthday parties. The staff is super to deal with and orders are ready packaged for quick pick ups. The mini cupcakes need to be pre ordered as well and are great for entertaining and more economical if on a budget. I would recommend this shop without hesitation.

I have been a huge fan of the Frosted Cupcake ever since they opened 3 years ago! I love that they are baked fresh and you can definitely tell! It is hard to choose which one is my favorite since they always have so many flavors but I love their Salted Caramel and New Yorker! So yummy!

Despite the hours posted on the door and on Google, I arrived at frosted cupcake today, Feb. 28, 2018, at 5 PM, only to find the door locked. There's no sign explaining why they aren't open when they lead us to believe. NO CUPCAKE FOR ME ???? In my first and previous visit, I found their cupcakes are better than their staff's courtesy. I used the Frosted Cupcake for my wedding because I am vegan and vegan cupcakes aren't the easiest to find where I live. I made an appointment with them via email specifically stating I was vegan and wanted to try the cupcakes first. 2 days before, I confirmed my appointment since I was bringing my family and we all live an hour and a half away. When we got there, she told us she didn't have any vegan cupcakes for us to try since they are special order and we should have told her we were coming.... yeah, ok. I wanted the cupcakes to be a bright tiffany blue.... 45 mins before my wedding when my in-laws brought them... they were a dark turquoise. I asked for 2 large stands and 3 small stands... i got 3 of varying sizes (and was still charged the same amount). To be honest i never even tried the cupcakes because I just didn't trust they were vegan since there were so many other problems. My family said they were comparable to any other cupcake...

Their cupcakes taste like something I would make at home - - I was expecting them to be more professional and they were a tad dry. The icing was fine if you like more icing than cupcake. Had high hopes for this place. It's a cute shop and service was good but for the price per cupcake, it isn't worth it.

I was disappointed with the plainness of the cake I ordered, especially for that price. I assumed they would enjoy using their decorating talents to try to wow us as 50 people saw the cake. I can't comment on the taste as we haven't tried it yet. Perhaps it's better to stick with their cupcakes.

I choose The Frosted Cupcake for all of my special occasions. Everytime they impress me more than the last. From my wedding, to showers, to my sons first birthday the cupcakes are always consistently good and tasty...I dare you to only have one!! Beautifully decorated, and a hit with all of my guests. On top of this the shop is nut free and they make gluten free cupcakes!! The staff is super friendly and so helpful when placing orders. The Frosted Cupcake is by far the best cupcake shop, this place is a real gem!!!

$16+ for 6 small, mediocre cupcakes is ridiculous. We parked directly in front of the store. The owner was standing there at the counter. I stood in front of the window and called twice, texted... no reply. The owner seems a little disorganized. That price floored me. The cupcakes are ok, but they don't have distinct flavours, even though they are labeled as such. The cake is dry and lacks flavour, the icing is always hard and a little dry, exceedingly sweet, and without any distinct flavour. Really Zehrs is better.

Amazing Customer Service & Beautiful/Delicious Wedding Cake! I had been conversing back and forth for months with Trudy from the Frosted Cupcake (who was amazing) for our wedding cake- and they were so accommodating to our three date changes due to covid. They even did our wedding cake as a gender reveal inside at no cost as well! On top of everything the cake itself was gorgeous and got so many compliments. Not to mention delicious as well and so fairly priced. 10/10 will be recommending the Frosted Cupcake to our friends and family who need cakes in the future!

She was very easy to work with and we loved the final product. Our cake was stunning and the cupcake design complimented it perfectly. The cake/cupcakes were also delicious and our guests raved about them the next day. 5 star recommendation. For reference: Our cupcake favours were: Cheesecake, After Eight and Boston Cream. Our cake flavour was Cheesecake.

I have had cupcakes at many places around London Ontario but The Frosted Cupcake has the most selection of flavors, all which are delicious! I have been into the store for just a few, as well as ordered large number for kids bday parties and baby/bridal showers. Service is great! Cupcakes are yummy!!! I would strongly recommend.

These cupcakes were okay. Nothing special in my opinion but everyone has different taste. I had a birthday cake cupcake that had no taste to it. It was dense and the frosting was heavy, which some people do prefer so its good in that sense if you like that. The other I had had a fruity frosting, which was very faint, and a chocolate base which I did actually enjoy that part of the cupcake as it was light and fluffy.

Bad customer service & will not return. Cupcakes didn’t even get eaten the vanilla was dry. when I complained the responses I got were rude & unprofessional. Tried to offer me a gift card but since I don’t wanna go back, I declined. Usually love supporting local small businesses but this was a bad experience and I will not return

It pains me even to give our cupcakes one star. Wish there was an option for no stars. As a professional baker I like to sample products when I am out and about. On our recent back to school shopping trip, my son and I decided to each order a cupcake. He ordered chocolate with chocolate icing. The cupcake was very dry and crumbly, but the icing tasted okay (I had to take a bite...could not resist chocolate). I ordered red velvet with cream cheese icing. Mine too was VERY dry and crumbly. I actually had a difficult time swallowing without water. It was also void of taste. The icing was terrible. There was too much icing sugar which made it grainy, hard and too sweet. More cream cheese and less sugar. I ended up throwing out most of the icing and cupcake. Very disappointed.

The owner of this establishment doesn’t take food allergies seriously and posted a video on another platform of her making a joke about serving a cupcake with gluten and wheat to someone who asked for gluten free due to food allergies. Whether it was a mistake or not she is now making a joke about it on a public social media platform. This is unprofessional and extremely dangerous business practice for those with food allergies. What if this was a client with celiac or an anaphylactic allergy? This business needs to do better. I recommend avoiding this establishment.

First and last experience!! DRY, EXPENSIVE and HORRIBLE! Ordered a cake, cupcakes and cake pops for my daughter's first birthday, 3 weeks ahead of time. The day of her birthday, the cake turned out nothing like I ordered. A "messy white" cake? Dont know who in their right mind would order that for a first birthday. When I ask the baker if she can fix it to the rossette design which I asked for. We were told no because the icing has hardened and it would be difficult with the 8 orders they had. We insisted something had to be done, and she later offered to fix it after shes done with all her orders and have it ready for 6pm. With no other option, we agree and leave. I get a call around 2pm asking for the finished cake to be picked up because they have decided to close at 4:30. So I guess the baker had completed all 8 orders in 2 hours ? At the end I was happy with how the cake turned out ( reason for that 1 star) but wish it could've been done from the start without all the bull****. Dont fall for the presentation the store, better off ordering a cake from sobeys next time!

Ordered a custom cake from The Frosted Cupcake and it was amazing. My friends and I are not from the Niagara area and we needed the cake delivered to the Brasa Steakhouse restaurant. The Frosted Cupcake staff made the process so easy for us and the customer service was exceptional, considering they are such a successful and busy business already! Could not believe how well it all turned out and the surprise could not have gone any better. Very attentive to our needs and our details and we could not be HAPPIER! Highly recommend this business and cannot thank them enough!

My daughter who lives in PEI texted the Frosted cupcake Friday morning requesting three cupcakes with pink icing inside for a gender reveal as a surprise for us living in St Catharines Ontario. She said they responded promptly to her text and were able to meet her request to have ready for pickup that afternoon. The gender reveal was perfect and the cupcakes tasted yummy! Thankyou!

Very unhappy with these cupcakes. Was looking for a place to buy cupcakes for an event and went into the store to buy a few to try them out. These cupcakes aren't even edible. I don't even think the whole cupcake was cooked through and they tasted as though they were a few days old. Not to mention they were dense and hard as rock. The icing was so gross I actually spit it out and refused to eat the rest. I am so happy I decided to try them first before making a large order for my event.

OMG so good!! We ordered vegan cupcakes and also gluten-free/dairy-free and regular cupcakes...all were delicious (which is rare for vegan and gluten-free baked goods around here). I will be back for sure!!!

Lots of variety with postings on line of what they have each day. My favourite is the Boston Cream. Great customer service and I love how it is set up right now with Covid. I feel safe going their for my fix. Who doesn't need a bit of sugar in these difficult times.

We first met with The Frosted Cupcakes back in April 2018. Rhonda and Trudy were very friendly and very accommodating. We had them bake the cupcakes and our naked cake for our rustic winery wedding at Vineland Estates Winery. Trudy and Rhonda and the rest of her staff did such an amazing job with our cupcakes and our cake. Their set-up in our wedding was exactly how we envisioned them. They really took the time to pay attention to the details of the cupcakes and they coordinated our theme colors with them. The cupcakes and the cake were such a BIG hit and everyone loves them, especially the kids. Some even took them home so we had no left overs. Our ultimate favourite was the White Chocolate Blueberry Cheesecake!!! OMG - the best cupcake flavour ever! Our naked cake also tasted so fresh and so yummy. Thank you so much to Trudy, Rhonda and the rest of their staff at The Frosted Cupcakes for being a special part of our dream wedding. Also, thanks for looking after our beloved, Miko, as we had brunch next door. You guys went above and beyond. Love you guys and we'll definitely pay a visit whenever we visit St. Catharines.

Bought a dozen cupcakes. The chocolate cake ones were tasty, the vanilla ones were very dry. The buttercream icing is very hard and too sweet. The cupcakes didn’t end up getting eaten much. Buttercream is supposed to be soft. They look lovely, but taste wise, a bit disappointed.

Disappointed about the cake We tried different cupcakes and once we had lollipop cakes. Some cupcakes are absolutely too sweet, only a few are good. The lollipops are perfect! Because they do peanut free, we ordered 2 different types of cupcakes for school. They were tasty. Vanilla and Chocolate. This time not too sweet. So we decided to order a cake for the birthday party - Vanilla. We were happy that they could make it for the day we wanted it. I sent a photo how it should look like. We emailed about the taste, everything good so far. When I saw the cake, I was a bit shocked that it was that small. The design didnt please me too. Colours were good, but you weren't able to see that it should be a minecraft creeper's face. After the price of nearly 70 Dollars incl tax, I hoped it would taste good. BUT the buttercream was coloured sugar and was more like fondant than buttercream. This has nothing to do with buttercream at all! With every bite we crushed sugar pieces! Not even the kids liked to eat it. So sad. So disappointing. So much money wasted! I gave 2 stars because of the tasty lollipop cakes we had and the coconut cupcake was tasty. But all in all it's not worth the price. :-(

Trudy is a very talented artist! We used The Frosted Cupcake's services for our beach wedding. Trudy's cake creation was flawless and she was able to pick up on every little detail we requested and cared about (including the amazing live floral arrangement she obtained and added). The cake looked beautiful, delicious and just as requested. She was very communicative and accommodating with our request to meet her during a preparation trip and the whole planning process especially planning the wedding in Canada from United States. She made sure that I (the bride) had nothing to worry about before or on the wedding day. She executed the preparation, delivery and setup professionally and efficiently. We recommend her to anyone that wants to add a refined piece of art to their wedding or any other event. Hats off to you The Frosted Cupcake! They exceeded our expectations!

I've tried multiple other places for cupcakes, but I always end up coming back here where I know for sure I will enjoy whatever kind I get..the customer service is always nice and welcoming. I ordered a pineapple coconut cake with custard filling recently. It was absolutely gorgeous and exactly what I was looking for. The taste, however, was disappointing. I couldn’t taste any of the pineapple coconut flavour (if there even was any) It tasted like plain vanilla. The buttercream was rock hard and cloyingly sweet. The cake itself was dry. I’m so glad I picked custard filling because that was the only thing that saved this cake. For the price I paid, I was expecting something better than store bought cake. ????
