This store is doing a great job of social distancing. The entrance is guarded with limited entry, and you are immediately offered sanitizer at the door and wipes to take with you. Just about everything currently (April 17) is in stock, but that changes pretty fast. Cashiers are protected and so are you, I will continue to shop here.

Decent enough local grocery story. Store is clean and well organized, with a good selection of Asian foods. However, they lose a star because the employee running the self checkout doesn't have anywhere to sit and always looks so miserable. Add another person so 1 person isn't trying to manage 6 tills.

This is actually a really nice superstore. Probably the least picked over produce of any of the superstores around town. They were out of lettuce though. Prices are low. I was going to have them price match a sell item from Walmart on coffee but there regular price was.the same as the sell price.

Usually shop at the superstore, but will avoid this one for a while. I was in line for self check out and someone had just left one of the kiosks. The attendant said to me "go ahead" but she had not cleaned it from the previous customer. I asked her if she could clean it first, and she gave me a look with a lot of attitude, and then proceeded to give it one wipe on the scanner - did not clean the debit machine or anything else. I wholeheartedly appreciate that anyone who works in a grocery store these days takes on a lot of exposure, but that aside, this person could not have cared less about anyone's health. We all need to do better.

We saw quite a few shoppers in the store without masks. Younger people that didn't look like they had medical conditions. This is something you hardly ever see in stores when it is the law. The management is not making a big enough effort to stop this. Makes me not want to shop there.

It's one of the largest Superstores in Canada. The staff is almost always friendly and helpful. Isles can be small and customers tend to block the paths, but the prices are some of the best around. All in all, a pretty good place to get your groceries.

This is a great place to shop for groceries. It also has a lot of variety of baked goods and sugary sweets that always get the best of me whenever I go there to buy 'just milk'. This location can be quite packed at rush hr times, a little on the dirtier side in the winter, but all in all it's not a bad superstore. It's a bit far from the north end of St Albert but I believe there building a new one on the North soon to be ready which is awesome. Staff could be a bit friendlier but most of them are nice and helpful. The lady at the bakery is super nice and always gives our kids free chocolate chip cookies which is super nice.

This New Real Canadian Superstore just of 24th on 160th in South Surrey is hands down one of the most AMAZING RCSS's out there...from the beautiful outdoor landscaping, to the outdoor cart stalls, the entrance, the escalator for us Shoppers & one for our buggies that lead to and from the immaculate underground, to the WINE Section, Medical Clinic, and of course the friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and courteous staff members... I almost feel as tho I am getting the kind CUSTOMER SERVICE that you pay for in the higher prices at the local Competitor Grocery Stores...I know all about the "Customer Service" that the Staff is supposed to offer customers at the local competitors as my Husband worked at one for 20yrs... At this particular RCSS, the Staff here gives the same level of Customer Service, if not better... Everytime I shop at this particular store, I feel as though I matter! It has been the reason I travel an extra 30min each way to do my shopping!!

Superstore has the best prices for Almond Breeze and other non dairy beverages in town. The last time that I checked the price for Almond Breeze it was $2.50 each. WOW They have a huge selection of BULK items too. It's a great place to do your ONE STOP shopping for bulk, produce, breads, etc. I also love the Middle Eastern and Indian spices and grocery section. I like their Asian and Middle Eastern cheese selection and specialty produce.

The point system there is easy to use, the underground parking is fantastically spacious and well lit, as well as the store itself.

get your on sale swimwear for Liard hot springs, stock up on Canadian exclusive chips and cadbury candy, get some jerky and five hour energy for the road at a decent price. Parking lot big enough to turn a truck and trailer around in and easy to get in and out of, with the far out parking spaces usually empty enough so you can park like schmuck and take a bunch of spaces. Ketchup and all dressed chips, Mr. big bars, and maple cookies loaded into the truck and you're on your way.

There is honestly everything that one could possibly want and/or need in this well organized store. Their produce is always fresh, as is their bakery and baked goods. Every week there is a free give-away for making a minimum purchase of $225 or more. I have been impressed with the majority of their choices.....and any that I wasn't in need of, already had, or don't use....is easily donated. This place is often busy, but it's not overcrowded, and the employees here are always available for assistance. All of the registers are guaranteed to be operational both Saturday and Sunday and the cashiers are pleasant and helpful. There are weekly sales, coupons and fliers provided as well as posted reminders on the shelves of select products about the points system rewards for those who collect optimum points. Aside from carrying President's Choice as their main promoted and represented brand, there are a plethora of others as well that they carry. From Natural Health/Organic to International cuisine and quite a few of cultural foods. They don't carry any FreeFrom beef, their FreeFrom meat is predominantly Pork. The Angus ground beef is quite good, and is AAA select.....however it would be much better if it were Free From as well. They carry a good selection of chicken, which are FreeFrom and other organic farm sources. They have young duck too....but I've never tried it. So far, I have only seen one product that they do not carry which is Coffee Mate Bliss (my hubby's favorite), they have a great selection of housewares, toiletries, kid's toys, individual products and incidentals for everyone of the house- young or old. Joe Fresh kids has great quality apparel which is trendy, convenient and affordable. If this place had a hot bar/salad bar/soup and sandwich bar and cafe....it would be perfect. But nevertheless it is pretty darn great as is.

This is a big, new store with tons of parking available, including underground parking so you don't have to go out in the rain! I was there on a Saturday around dinner time, and there were multiple checkouts with no line at all, so go check it out before it gets really busy like every other Superstore in the Lower Mainland!

This is a very large grocery store with a generous drug and cosmetic section. They have a pharmacy which is very convenient. The pharmacy staff are very friendly. They also sell clothing (Joe Fresh), and dishes, towels, etc. I'm not crazy about the food portion of the store because I find they don't have a lot of the things that you would assume would be in a large store. I end up going to Sobeys which is down the road in order to find the things that I need. What I like about it however are the wide aisles and their fresh produce and deli area. They also have an excellent bread section.

Staff is alway's helpful friendly and kind. They have everything you'll need from bakery, Clothes to medication for all your needs even a smile and a helping hand. Good seafood selections from alive to fresh process already packaged foods. Bakery area is out of the world with wonderful selections of breads and dessert. Last but not least they have great prices and deals.

For the most part this is a fantastic grocery store. The parking lot is huge, so parking isn't an issue. They have a very wide selection of products, mainly because it's a huge store, the drawback being it is difficult to just run in and grab one or two items quickly. I don't think I've ever had a problem with bad food (mold, stale, etc), but it tends to be more expensive than most other grocery stores. Compared to Superstores in other towns or cities, this one was designed to be nicer. It feels brighter, cleaner, more open. I just miss the days when you bought groceries, they were bagged for you as well. Going through a check out, having to bag yourself can be a real pain, especially if there's a line. On the other hand, it seems like they consistently have more cashier lanes open than any other local store.

My wife and minor student went to this store a week ago Tuesday. A customer in line became very hostile and threatening. Yelling every four letter word to both my wife and student. My wife asked immediately for security and store manager, which the staff refused. The staff then had the nerve to tell my wife if she didn't stop asking they would phone the police and have them detained. Phones head office, their facebook page, and talked with an assistance manager who assured me that the manager would call back. He tried the next day but I was at the doctors with my wife over the incident. He left a VM that he would call back and did not. Customers should be aware that their staff is poorly trained in providing assistance or calling store security. The man was waiting outside the store when my wife left and once again verbally assaulted her. Interesting that Galen Weston can send our emails on how great there doing during this time, but in reality you are UNSAFE in some of their stores. Now over a month and no one has contacted me, the manager just does not care what goes on at this store.

The Loblaws family are creepy billionaires. They pay their security 20x for catching a staff member than a customer for stealing. Catching a customer requires proof while catching a staff needs none, so it is very profitable to frame staff. Their workers are miserable, because each day could be their last. Horrible atmosphere, terribly negative.

Generally speaking I prefer Superstore to Walmart. Superstore has the better selection of international foods, a better selection of produce and a significantly better quality selection of meats as well. While Walmart offers more, I'm not sure if it's necessary. Superstore is also Canadian, which in these strange times is kind of comforting in a way.

I wouldn’t recommend their “fresh” seafood section as it isn’t well stocked and somewhat suspect. The organization of the store is a little wonky and some products can be difficult to locate. Otherwise this is a good place to get you weekly groceries.

It's my go to place for grocery shopping, mostly because the selection is usually good and even if it's a bit pricier, I collect PC points from gas and it's a good way to spend them. If Saint Thomas got a No Frills, I would likely shop there as it's a bit cheaper, but this location is always clean, usually stocked well and pretty quick. My biggest problem with this place is the people who leave their shopping carts on the grass beside their parking spot because they are too lazy to put it away. Don't be one of "those" people, y'all!

RESTOCK YOUR SHELVES!!!!!!!! I have NEVER shopped at a grocery store where so many shelves sit empty of the same products for so long. And, naturally, many are items regularly on my list. It seems that new stock may be added, sells out immediately, and then it takes a month or more (over multiple grocery days for me) before the stock is replenished!! Aggravating! Went through Self Checkout today, Cashier tells me to “make sure I check everything through, we have no Security Guards to check your stuff”. I had to turn around and ask her for a bag, she was off to the side watching me, she says to me “oh yes, I see you checked everything through” Phone the Store Manager/Brandon, voiced my concerns. I asked “out of the 6 Self checkouts, did she ask/tell any of the other 5? Told the Manager I would appreciate if the Staff kept their comments to themselves. The superstore offers rewards if you spend over $250. The last time it was a package of bacon. As a vegan, We asked if we could substitute a package of bacon for points as they give points once they run out of the promotional item. They unfortunately said they couldn't substitute for us. As customers who spend over $250 a week at the superstore I feel this was a insensitive and unprofessional approach. This is the best Superstore out of all in Surrey. It's the newest, quietest, and cleanest. This bright store has the usual options but less international food selection due to the demographic of South Surrey. Regardless, within the last 3 years it has gotten significantly busier. Although the store advertises all checkout lanes open Saturday and Sunday, this only holds true for Sunday and days like Christmas Eve, New Years Eve, etc. A lot of the time there are long lines at the checkout because there are not enough checkout lanes open. Usually on Friday afternoons when I normally go shopping, the store is low in stock in the produce, dairy, and bakery departments. The store honours price matching which is extremely helpful! I would recommend using the FlashFood app for extra savings, to pick up food pirchased from the app visit customer service. The washrooms are average in terms of cleanliness.

Overall click and collect pick of groceries seems good. Staff seem friendly. I'm fairly annoyed with the click and collect service. Whenever there is a substitution and I ask that they take it off, they never take it off, never, I then have to make time and return the product. The whole reason I use click and collect is so I don't have to come into the store, talk about wasting a customer's time. Service is slower than other locations. I also suspect that they are understaffed as I've ordered groceries and have had to pick up the next day because my order wasn't ready in a reasonable amount of time.

I was pleasantly surprised that Whitehorse had a RCS. I was very happy that the prices were the same or comparable to Toronto. The store is huge with an excellent selection. The staff is friendly and helpful. Aside from groceries, I bought an outdoor vest which was on sale. Interestingly enough I couldn't find it In the Greater Toronto Area. Go figure. If you're heading up north of Whitehorse it's a good idea (read - GREAT IDEA) to stock up on groceries. The prices can be very high up there.

A generally well stocked and clean store. One issue I find is that they usually have large orders of bread in stock, but it is quite frequently close to it's expiry date. A honest review. The store is big and wide. There’s a pharmacy, clothing and all the food you need and want. Prices are usually good compared to smaller local store. The big thing that make this place loose points in my book are the price accuracy. Every time without exception, for 50$ of groceries, there will be 2 to 3 items witch the price is higher when scan then annonce on the shelf. And I have looked many times, the law in Canada oblige the store to give you the item free if under 10$ after being scanned, not paid. Keep notes because the cashier will argue like if it would be her money ...

Second experience, I called in to ensure they had my correct meds this time, and 60 tablets, as again, I was going away. Assured, yes, they did. Drove in from Falkland and told when I arrived 40 minutes after the call that they just had 7, or one weeks worth, taking my to Dec 23rd. Fuming, i said that was not acceptable, considering i had called ahead to avoid this. Somehow he found 30. Acted as if he was doing me a favour. Today I called in, asked if I still had current availability for one of my meds, or did I need to have my doctor refill it. She said her records show that I still had 6. Confused, I said, there were only two when I brought the prescription in. She explained that they didn't even carry what i was actually prescribed, but would give me something similar, and I'd probably need to take three though..... Yikes.

This is a great store generally, and at this time (July-Aug 2021) they are offering walk-in covid shots for the Moderna vaccine in the pharmacy section. It was walk in, show health card, fill out one page of info (personal contact info and reactions to different things), get a shot, wait for 15 minutes to make sure everything is ok. In and out in 20 minutes total with nothing in hand but a health card (1st shot). You get your paperwork, an emailed copy, and done. Very friendly staff, very quick and easy process

I know this store, I get the layout. Prices are the best you can expect compared to the competition. It gets a bit crazy busy on the weekend but every lane is open. If you can avoid the busy times, you can spend the time to find great in-store specials. There is a well stocked 'international' section. Big housewears, drugstore, clothing, seasonal and BC wine sections. It's my go to grocery store in Vernon. Produce sometimes needs scrutiny, local options are available at nearby competitors.

There is rarely a huge lineup for the cashier or see stuff spilled all over the place like other Superstores that I went to. I love the selection at Joe Fresh fashion and the books section. I was never a big fan of Superstore because of how crowded or messy some aisles are. But this Superstore is a delight and I'll definitely frequent again in the future.

Aisles and aisles of organic and gluten free packaged foods as well as a wide selection of organic fruits and vegetables, organic dairy, and free run (not free range though) eggs. Probably the best grocery store in Vernon. Certainly the biggest. Parking can sometimes be a problem as everybody goes there and brings their largest vehicle. Also for some reason people decide to park in the middle of the road at a stop sign instead of parking spots. Basically it's just a massive grocery store and it carries anything you might need for yourself or your family.

I don’t really understand why they have staff out on the floor. They’re wasting all of their money on this absolutely useless staff with ZERO customer service skills. I went in there looking for split peas and couldn’t find anything. You know what was more difficult to find than the split peas? A SINGLE STAFF MEMBER. Finally, next to some canned food I seen an employee scanning items. I apologized for interrupting and asked if she may be able to help me find the split peas (which I pulled up a picture of from the superstore site because split peas aren’t really a common thing). Anyway, this middle aged woman literally scoffed as if I was such an inconvenience and actually said “I’m BUSY”. She proceeded to huff and puff and to look at the picture and tell me what aisle it was down. I told her I went there and hadn’t seen it and asked if she may quickly be able to look. She glared at me and said “ugh I really can’t” and then kept speed walking in front of me muttering that if I hadn’t seen it, it’s not there and she’s not going to find it. I specifically told her she was rude and that as an employee of superstore shouldn’t be on the floor if she’s unwilling to assist. She ignored me at this point and asked some young gentleman to help me because she was busy and hurried away, back to whatever was so important. Anyway, he didn’t find the split peas either. Nice guy, I’ll say. No customer service skills but he actually looked ???? So, long story short I went back to WALMART and got my split peas in like 2 minutes. WALMART WILL NEVER LET YA DOWN ???? sorry superstore, but you’re the farthest thing from super.

I was doing a grocery shop and also was able to set up calling with KOODO on my one phone that was with TELUS but since our postal code for our house could not be found I could not upgrade that device. My boyfriend got me a new Galaxy 7 for my personal use as everyone at our home and my daughters kept needing to use my Bell phone . The landlord has been against installing a house phone so it was great to be able to designate one mobile phone for my daughters to be reachable at if at their dad's or school, one that is for the home and those who need to make their calls for government programs ( I am helping friends with social and Developmental struggles at my home, it is difficult to make positive changes without communication or a phone number to be reached at!) and last of all myself with a personal device that is from my Boyfriend. The sales rep at the The Mobile Shop was very helpful and I got to get some yummy produce and sushi after the mobiles got figured out. A great end to a stressful Day! A one stop shop for everything I needed. Love fresh made Sushi There! Now to get back to setting up my new phone. It is hard for me as I have been quite overwhelmed this past year. Wish me luck ????

I usually don't post comments but this time I have too .They have different prices in the store and at their online shopping. It didn't happen first time. I usually do online groceries from this location. Today I just decided to do grocery in person their pepper price was $2.00 expensive than compare to their same location store online price. There were other few things have different prices too. When I asked to them the lady was asking me which store you talking about. I showed her their online grocery app( P C app ) she still didn't get it I was surprised their employees even didn't recognize their own grocery app . Then I showed her another item which was at lower price at Walmart. She said I have to show her Walmart flyer otherwise she can't match the price. She can easily see on my phone that item was available in Walmart with low price. But she refused it to match the price. Usually when we want to match the price we have to show the availability of items in another store, which I did through my phone. who carry all stores flyer in this paperless time. so I have to go to Walmart to pick those items but it should be more convenient to get all needed things from one store. I hope they will improve their services

Good selections of grocery. Hard to get international food is here. Like the many selections. Has good clothing offers, household good and some furniture. You have to bag your own purchases. Which I am not a fan of. But seems this is the way it's going for future. All in all, would recommend this place for mid to lower pricing points

Horrible check out experience. Lady was very rude towards us. Crushing our groceries and rushing us to bag, and also telling us how to bag Seems like all she cared about was how quick she could rush us out and getting us out She also complained to her manager before we got a chance to complain That lady (floor manager)also looked annoyed and as if she didnt care about our horrible experience. Considering this isn't the first time we've had problems with this lady Also the floors managers lack of empathy was the last straw This was thee worst customer service I've ever experienced, wont be back.

Pandemic Superstore is not very safe. It is a free for all at the door to get in - no designated in or out, sometimes no staff at the door to do whatever they do. I passed 3 ADULTS not wearing a mask. When confronted they laughed and entered the store. The customers can be rude - when a 20 something yr old woman was confronted about pulling her mask down to talk, she stuck her tongue out like a 2 year old. This reflects on the store as no one bothers to monitor the plague rats. I can see that the cashiers are tired of these people, the management should be addressing this much better. The cashiers are doing their absolute best to keep everything safe and clean. There doesn't seem to be a limit on how many people can be in the store at one time. Non Pandemic Superstore - A really nice store. Most of the employees are kind, personable, and seem to do their job well. A few of them are rude but not enough to stop me shopping there. Well stocked, fresh meat, fresh produce. But I would rather shop at a safer place and spend extra money than get sick during a pandemic.

Huge store with literally everything, you can find food and food accessories, along with electronics and video games and cameras. To home decor and kitchen utensils and accessories. Also has a pharmacy inside and some even have doctors walk in clinics you can use. Also most have an optometrist shop for glasses and eye exams. Has a meat department, Deli, Bakery, and a frozen food section.

There's not much to recommend any of the three supermarkets over any other. Prices here are reasonable considering. This one has housewares, clothes, and a pharmacy inside. Don't get your hopes up of finding anything "ethnic" or "specialty", like black bean paste, mirin, Angostura, etc.

Always a sub par experience. Staff help in a minimal fashion. Never feel happy shopping here. Prices are not great. In fact a lot of their organic and "natural" products can be same price or more expensive than Whole Foods.

First time being in a super store usually I use save on foods but there are none here. Overall it wasn't a bad store has your usual groceries plus clothes and pots and pans. The pots and pans were defiantly over priced though for what your getting and quality. If you want to save money Walmart is right beside this one.

Sometimes selections are not available or shelves are not stocked. It is hard when you live 5 hours from town and come to shop and things are unavailable. Not everyone lives in town with access and can come back when they restock. Food is fresh and most prices are reasonable and similar to what you find further south.

Sneaky with their pricing. Everything isn't priced by what the large numbers are, instead look for the small numbers, cause unless you're buying multiple items, nothing is as advertised here. Not returning.

I absolutely love the Real Canadian Superstore for my shopping. You can't beat their bakery price's, especially fresh bread for $1 a loaf. Their hot deli offers great selection if you don't feel like cooking that night. Just grab and go without breaking the bank. Great health food section for those of us who are vegan and so forth. The fresh goat's milk is a favourite in my house and never last s. I wish I could give 5 star's however...The point's rewards are pretty much Nil now that they merged with shoppers drug mart. Rarely do I rack up any points as I once had. ALSO I wish they would get in special requests for certain food's. I've tried in the past and I keep getting told they will and then nothing. Otherwise a solid store with very friendly staff. Cheers

Good service, very reasonably priced products. By becoming an Optimum PC card member we are eligible to earn points which are converted to cash value and can be redeemed on later purchases. These cards are used not only in the superstore but also in Esso gas stations and shoppers Drug mart.
