This Bakery corresponds to the category of Cafe.
I often come here with friends, however after its recent buyout they've changed the branding on the menu to "Sips n sweets" and have left the sign outside as La Crema. Confused as to what it's really called.
I ordered an Italian soda and they made it with TONIC water. ECH!
..coffee was ok...packaged treats are ok..but not much seems to be made at the cafe
This place if one of my favorite non-chain places for food. The place is clean, decoration is good and the food is good. The cafe's renovation is one big part in how it looks more modern now. My favorites are the creme brulee and the bulgogi panini.
Nice little treats & great drinks; however very overpriced.
Always a treat to get gelato or an Italian soda and sit on the patio during those warm summer months after walking through the farmer's market. Very comfortable space where you can enjoy your coffee, a snack, and read a book or write. They also have food items such as panini's, pastries, quite a few gluten-free options, and, wait for it... smoked ribs, wings and pulled pork. You'll leave satisfied.
This is honestly one of my favorite restaurants in St. Albert. The food is really good and the meals you can buy here are filling. I've loved the coffee here for a while. It is a bit on the expensive side though, $22 for a meal and a coffee but it's well worth the money.
Had the spice tuna sandwich and it was delicious.
Great quiche and Nanaimo bar
Super cozy and fun environment, coffee and food is great too!
Great food, good lattes, comfy atmosphere!
Great friendly service!
Nice brick building design cafe
Great coffees. Quality beans. Love and care in putting them together. Awesome iced mocha.
Great service, pretty good coffee and snacks.
Lovely spot. Great local business with delicious food.
Love the atmosphere here :) used to come to this place for dates… very quaint.
I always enjoy coming here. Quiet. Nice atmosphere. Never crowded.
This morning we went to La Crema and it was lovely, we ordered a coffee and a breakfast, my only complaint is that they don't open early enough. My friend and I usually go for a walk and grab a coffee at 8 am but they dont open till 930. I love the vibe in the shop, and the atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and we will be back. Might have to make our walk time a little later in the day!
I visited in the summer and the coffee was not good at all. You need higher quality beans or fresher beans or something. Cozy place otherwise
Nice Hazelnut Mocha Latte!! Great location...bright corner. Simple but good food for a quick bite. Had a Panini that could have used just a little more ingredients. Could use a little update in Decor but I love supporting local friendly businesses.
I have been going to La Crema for years. It is a downtown St Albert staple. Great breakfast bagel sandwiches,, other sandwiches and wraps. They also have a great selection of deserts and amazing coffee!! I had a cortado with oat milk today and it was perfect.
It was just ok and kind of pricy.
Sooooo delicious! Definitely go here, the food is amazing and the atmosphere inside is really chill and beautiful.
Disappointing. Not much choice and none looked appetizing but I chose a cinnamon bun after being told it was fresh out of the oven. It was so dry, it was inedible. I asked for butter, but still couldn't finish. My friend said her cookie was stale. Too bad, with decent food this cafe could be a popular meeting place again.
Great coffee, very good food options. Very friendly staff.
This was a lovely little spot. We enjoyed the ice cream. I tried the pistachio, salted caramel and mango sorbet. The coffee was good and my daughter loves the handmade products being sold there too. They also had a water bowl for my dog.
Great aesthetic, the food and drink is delicious and I highly recommend this cafe.
Outstanding experience from the service to the quality of food, coffee and tea. We will be back.
The line-ups are fierce which corresponds to the wait times.
Very delicious and simple meals served with love! I had the matcha latte and was really good. My son ordered the grapefuitade and it was delicious and refreshing! The panini were toast to ???? ???? when visiting St. Albert, don't miss out on stopping by this cute coffee shop.
Great coffee!
Great ambience, great coffee!!!
Delicious lattes! Awesome, quick, and friendly service. Food was delicious! Love that they have gluten friendly options. Great spot!
Delightful, great place to study
I love this place! It has a very comfortable atmosphere and very good coffee and snacks. The big difference between here and other coffee shops is the service. The owner is amazing and she always takes time to talk to customers. It is a small business coffee shop and is definitely worth stopping by whether for a date, business meeting or just while enjoying the farmers market during the summer. Take an opportunity to support this wonderful small business!
Excellent coffee excellent ice cream. Thanks for Being open on a Sunday.
Stopped in here today after the International Children’s Festival, decided to try the chicken bacon ranch sub...it was amazing! Fresh, toasty, melty, and delicious! Really decent portion size too! My husband and I shared, and felt pretty full. Lovely patio location, perfect for people watching! Friendly owner. Will be back!
The sign on the window said open, but it was closed. I came by at 530 on a Friday for the Rockin August car show and there were a lot of people sitting outside in chairs, but all confirmed the shop was closed.
Very nice decor , gf items and service
Was divine..had lavender Italian sodas and bagel with cream cheese...atmosphere was great...
A fresh new look on a classic St. Albert cafe. Loving the switch to Transcend coffee too!
Really nice cafe with a large variety of iced and warm drinks prices similar to Starbucks for reference. They have lots of indoor and outdoor parking as well. If you go on Saturday just be aware that the outdoor farmers market it's taking place so parking will be difficult.
Good food calm atmosphere
Not good coffee :( I went in for a cappuccino and it was the worst I've ever had. Small size was 16oz! And it was just watered down espresso with bubbles on the top AND it was sweetened, I didn't ask for that
Love their coffee!!!!!! Very tasty and delicious! And very very friendly staff!
Very good paninis. The croissant looked amazing. And the pizza is beautiful. The desserts are good. Also I had some issue with my toffe oat espresso drink and they not only allow me to try and drink it byt when I was not happy with it they remade me a drink. So I can say the hazelnut espresso drink was delicious. Definitely a good place to hang out and chat.
Always have good gluten free treats. I had apple pie.
Nothing special. Little expensive.
Great service, drinks and food! Nice spot to relax and enjoy some time.
In my opinion, the products (food and drink) are pretty over priced for what they are: $2.35 for a small drip coffee, medium brew is the only option. The location is great, and the staff tends to be really friendly. Lots of gluten free options, lots of vegetarian, no vegan.
Beautiful and neat! Friendly staff and lovely food!
My favourite coffee shop in the city! Such friendly staff and delicious food & drink.
Mediocre coffee, not great customer service.
I woke up and i thought of this very tasty Sandwich named Chicken BLT so i went driving to La Crema Caffe and i loved it! The chicken and bacon was so delicious and cheese cake was absolutely amazing! And the table decorations were very beautiful. You will regret it if you never come here!
Nice atmosphere, wifi didn't work staff didn't seem to know how to reboot. Food was ok.
Had a sub there, the chicken ranch one. Damn! That was a great sub. It was toasted, with melted cheese, and everything was just so right about it. Highly recommend.
Great little coffee shop in the centre of St. Albert. The space is bright with lots of windows for great people watching. The staff is friendly and efficient.
Cute and cozy and DELICIOUS coffee!! I had an eggnog latte with a pump of toffee nut and it might be the best Christmas coffee I’ve had. So well made, and the staff and friendly and warm. Support this lovely local business.
Great service.. Good drinks
Great place for coffee, tea, sandwich. Friendly staff.
Nice little place to stop in for coffee. Nice tasting coffee as well!
Perfect place to sit, read and enjoy downtown st.albert
Awesome Latte’s and drinks, good food, and a very home like feel.
This a cute little café with potential. The owners are pleasant and very welcoming. Clean and presentable.
Nice coffee
The hours are not great, but the coffee and food are good.
My favorite when in town.
Nice coffee shop in the heart of St Albert. The staff is friendly and courteous. The washroom facilities are clean. At this time there is no dine in due to COVID, only takeout but that will change in time. The ambiance is great. I have come here a few times over the years and and have always enjoyed the the coffee and food.
Their Croissant sandwich is very good. I really like the blue lemonade soda too.
Nice cafe in a great location. Pleasant staff and beautiful outdoor setting with beautful sunset
Fresh delicious coffee. And yummy snacks
Cozy, noisy when busy, but a delightful local shop. Where did the flowers go? I sure missed them today as they usually add ambience to our botanical city. Patio available
Easy parking, good service good food.
This place is so chill. They make the most amazing peppermint mocha and vegetarian panini. Super friendly staff.
Great atmosphere Love to sit outside with Charlie the parrot
Nice small coffee shop
Avoid at peak hours. Frenzied staff, unorganized orders, and good luck getting a half decent drink or food in a reasonable time. Not recommended with other available cafes nearby.
Great service and selection of food and drinks. Just watch out for Saturday mornings with the farmers market, can get pretty busy
Amazing service. Great freshly ground coffee. Good atmosphere. Nice people. I will be a regular here.
Amazing food everything was so good. Healthy AND appetizing and lots of different interesting and delicious items and still excellent coffee as well. 5 star Cafe all day.
Great place
Gluten free food and treats. Cheese cake...need I say more.
Good coffee at the market
Great gluten free quiche
Enjoyed the Panini & lavender Italian soda for lunch.
Love love the atmosphere, friendly staff and gluten free paninis are my new favorite
Love the atmosphere, the staff is great, the food is fantastic. It's my favorite place to eat downtown St Albert.
It was okay.
Cute little Cafe with a welcoming atmosphere. Staff was polite and the breakfast bagel and cappuccino were delicious.
salami sub 11 dollars for 2 slices of salami only in a bun. cheaping out in the meat.
A wonderful place to sit back and relax with or without a friend. Great coffee..food..atmosphere and fair pricing.
Quaint little shop! Extremely friendly and helpful staff! Only had drinks but their food selection looked delicious!! Will definitely be back to try!
A great place for a coffee or meal downtown St. Albert
I sometimes visit this cozy place. The staff is always friendly. I ordered Bulgogi Panini and Alfredo Chicken Pizza today. Pizza dough is gluten-free. The more I chew, the softer and sweeter the texture. It was very delicious!
Similar experience as most of the other customers. I prefer my coffee full bodied. Atmosphere is nice. Caffe is clean. Staff is pleasant.
Great menu selection
The whip cream in the hot chocolate had gone bad. The cream in the coffee made us sick, also. It was overpriced.
I had a dirty chai, it was good but pretty weak. I'd prefer a little more chai flavour for something that price.
I went for the first time not too long ago and it's way over priced. I bought 2 chicken BLTs and it costed 21$. Other than that, the food was alright.
Nice small place to relax :)
La Crema has new owners, (close to 2 years probably) and they are awesome! Great service and the atmosphere is clean and bright with local art on the wall. And they serve good cafe food and excellent Matcha Latte's! Highly recommended
Coffee. Better than every other place. Real creme
Really nice cafe with lots of seating. Lots of traditional hot drinks with specialty coffee flavours as well. The iced white chocolate and blackberry latte was delicious!
Good food, haven't tried the coffee yet.
I often stop in for coffee and a date square or cookie. Has some gluten free foods. Nice quiet place. Patio in the sun, inside in the shade. Wifi.. People often meet there to do work or business meetings in the afternoon.
Stopped in for a quick lunch and had a great turkey panini with artichoke hearts in it. Delish. Decaf latte was great as well.
Coffee was divine but the red sauce on my chicken BLT was not! You should not add the red hot sauce without asking, it is an unusual choice for a condiment and gave me terrible reflux.
Will be very good during the summer time
I was disappointed by the decor of the coffee shop , small plant pots on the top the tables with cheap aprons (by the way I visited last year before they renovated , I thought they will improve a little bit the design but nothing was changed ) also there is no respect for social distancing Coffee was Meh , food was just Ok but pricy for this kind of quality They served their cakes in a plastic container that looks very cheap
Great food, perfect patio and amazing people running it. #supportlocal
Had a panini. Best I have ever had. Beautiful caffe. We plan on making it a Saturday tradition.
Nice
Decent coffee/tea. Good treats. Better than average atmosphere. But overall a bit pricey for the average to good quality.
Its a great atmosphere with a great cup of coffee. Might not be as quick as your drive thru experiences at other places, but sometimes we gotta slow down and enjoy our time. Also my gluten free friends, they do Pizza!!!!!!!
Unique quiet reasonable prices I highly recommend it.
Great! Locally owned.
Great place, love their mocha
The coffee is always good and the workers are really nice, a great place to sit and chat.
Great coffee, great service!
Great coffee shop.
Great quiche & coffee.
I enjoy the lattes here and the service is excellent. Very cozy atmosphere!
La crema caffe is open everyday from 9 to 5. Not sure why google shows permanently closed on the schedule.
Very nice staff. Good food and a lot of food options.
Espresso is not made correct. ‘Small, medium and large’ are not sizes for espresso. Bathrooms dirty but the place was busy as the St. Albert farmers market was on. Extra star for location.
My favourite coffee shop!
Quiche was tasty.
The best coffee and coffee products in St. Albert. However, their food offerings are weak, and they have a severe problem with opening on time.
I like it. I feel relaxed there.
The staff was courteous and the coffee would rival anything that you could buy at 7-11 for less. I bought a grilled cheese pannini. The bread was your typical Dempsters sliced fare. By the time I finally got the sandwich all the moisture had been squeezed from it. The bread was very dry. The cheese was much like the standard marble that you could buy at Sobey's or Safeway. The experience was bland at best. It did not leave me wanting more.
Very nice and pretty area Delicious food and very nice service
Visited in September. The coffee was pretty bad the service was good though and the place was clean. I would think about getting better quality beans or something.
Cozy. friendly. good ambient
Waited here while our dog was at the groomers. Had a good breakfast menu and friendly staff.
Good Latte and Cake. Recommend
Very cute setting and good soup and sandwiches. Definitely a go-to cafe if i want a good bite to eat along with a hot drink. They used to do music and poetry nights but don’t anymore which is really sad and unfortunate.
Great coffees, place is great
This cafe is so cute, and chic. The food was amazing, the matcha latte was to die for, and it honestly is one of my fav cafes now!
Very good cold drinks
June 16 2017 I have been here a few times ,thought I would try it again, ordered a spinach salad and a chicken BLT, $25,50 (small I best add)Not very happy at all , paper plates, spinach salad ,well you can't mess that up, BLT was stone cold, cheerse not even melted just thrown on. Salad looked awful, very disappointed, will never go back.
awesome!
I've been coming here for years, fantastic vibes, excellent coffee, snacks and the friendliest baristas. I highly recommend this hidden gem!
How quaint and perfect! Love local coffee shops!
Staff very friendly. Service was great.
Beautiful cafe, great service. Breakfast bagel and coffee were delicious and worth the trip.
Cozy, comfortable little coffee house.
Cute coffee shop in the heart of St. Albert. Friendly staff. Americano was tasty; beans were from Transcend. The carrot cake icing was a little too sweet for me, but overall a nice experience. I will come back to try their wide array of gluten free options.
I used to love this place the food was always excellent but after the owners changed the food went down hill and then again when the owners changed it got worse. Today i had a spinich quiche and a latte. The Quiche was raw and the latte was barely warm i will never come here again.
Normal place to enjoy a good coffee and spend a few moments with your friends or yours work partners!!
Great food and exceptional service! I had the chicken BLT sandwich and it was excellent. They have a great selection of high quality tea, a bonus for tea enthusiasts like me. I work in the area and have been to this cafe before and it was not as good as it is now with new management. I will definately be back often!
This used to be a great place to go in St.Albert. My husband and I went for lunch the other day. When we walked in there wasn't anyone there to greet us. We rang the bell at the counter and got a yell from a man in the back. When he came to the front he was wearing sweat pants and didn't even greet us with a smile. The food was sub-par! We payed 26$ for a bottle of water a tea and 2 panini sandwiches that were just ok. The cafe was freezing cold just like the customer service! We will NEVER go back!
Excellent pulled pork sub!
I've been here a couple times. Both times the service is horrible. Everyone at the table gets served at different times.they forget orders, they dont6 offer compensation for their mistakes. . Dont give coffee refills or bring cutlery with the meals. When the warmed up pie it was cold in the centre. You're You're always running to the front to ask for things tgeh missed.
Love my coffee and gluten free snacks!
We stopped here at the recommendation of a friend. La Crema didn't disappoint! The staff were lovely and the sandwiches were great!
The latte was as good as promised. Staff super friendly!!
Food, coffee and service is always good! Highly recommend.
Too expensive
Got a turkey breakfast, first time here, it was off the chain
