REVIEWS OF La Baguette IN Revelstoke

Nice place to grab a snack our meal in a wonderful environment surrounded by BC beauty.

Stopped for a coffee before leaving Revelstoke and everyone stayed for a nice breakfast. I had the Remedy Tea and it took my breath away. Something different. Everyone enjoyed the meals and we left an hour later than planned.

Gordon Ross

Terribly unfriendly waitress (possibly Eastern European) at the register couldn't even smile when we walked in. Didn't respond to our questions, didn't show a sign of hospitality or helpfulness. Why are these people working in a friendly cafe in a most friendly town?

Faustino Ricioppo

When my party of 3 arrived at lunch hour it was busy - always a good sign! As we waited in the (quickly-moving) line, I spied the fresh-looking gelato with various original flavors such as Ferrero Rocher. The service was quick and friendly. I ordered the Brie-LT which was a spin off a classic BLT. Served on a freshly-baked sesame bagel, the fresh greens and sprouts paired nicely with the generous slices of brie. The chipotle mayo was not overpowering and not dripping everywhere. My companions both had rave reviews of their sandwiches also. Wait time was about 10 minutes from ordering. I highly recommend this place!

Christy Morgan

I had a delicious bagel with lox and cream cheese here! The poutine is also very good too! This small mall also has a speciality grocer store and a butcher. Definitely worth checking these places out if you are on Revelstoke.

Navreet Dhillon

Tried the blueberry brioche and chocolate hazelnut mousse cake, both were delicious!

Formidable!! Superb tasting food. Pizzas pastas, soups, salads and burgers with a unique French flair. Hands down a must try restaurant when visiting Revelstoke.

Great atmosphere, friendly service, amazing food quality and value

Good food , good prices , good service. Stumbled on this gem by mistake and was pleasantly surprised. Ended up spending wayy more than intended but it was worth it

I've only stopped here for one sandwich, but it was quite possibly the best sandwich I've ever had! And all my friends agreed with everything they had. Definitely some amazing food here, and the atmosphere is really cool to. The decor is very appealing. I highly recommend stopping here if you're ever in Revelstoke. My friends go here regularly.

Traci Pendlebury

Love the food and the inner decoration! Lovely place!

Nicole F

I love La Baguette... One favourite in particular is the Montreal smoked meat sammie. It's one of the few versions I've had outside of Montreal that can actually be honestly called that. The baked goods are amazing too. I've always had great service there...

M e

Amazing atmosphere and even better food! I had the "La Baguette club" and it is hands down the best club I've ever had. The fries where amazing as well. Everything is made in house and most of the meat is all local from what I've been told. So far it's the best place in Revelstoke!

Food and service are 5/5. The veggie wrap was dynamite as was the Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich, meat was from a local Butcher. They are short staffed and are doing their best - patience and understanding, the meal will be awesome

Sami McBryer

Been here several times and its always been fantastic. The bagels are excellent ( Brie LT bagel is my favourite) but everything I've had has been good. Nice patio in the summer with plenty of seating. Great place for breakfast or lunch when in Revelstoke. Highly recommend.

Dennis Long

Got yelled at for ordering takeout in the “for here” line. First time in the store and it will most definitely be my last. Breakfast sandwich sucked too.

Carol Anne Penner

Amazing. I could seriously live off their food lol. The smell will make you salivate the moment you walk into the cafe. Delicious salads, soups, pastries, breakfast plates, crepes, coffee...

Neil Egsgard

The food was exquisite! I stopped in for lunch, on the way back home from a larger trip, and the atmosphere and food quality made me immediately want to return for the sole purpose of showing my friends this superb cafe! Also, being on the bottom of the financial ladder, I was worried that such a cafe might be too expensive for me but the prices were marvelously reasonable! Fun fact: I have hated gravy my whole life and as such, hate poutine, but my friend ordered poutine and it was so good, that we both ate it!

Maggie Krampl

Had a great pizza on Saturday afternoon. They ran out of the beer I ordered and helped me pick something else, a lovely coffee with housemade bailey's. There were two things that bugged me and the result is the 2 stars... should be less but I'm giving them the benifit of the doubt. First the cashier taking orders didn't look at my vaccine passport with more than a glace. Not scanning the qr code or checking my ID. Second and rather gross, is the fact a staff member came into the bathroom, used it then left without washing her hands. It wasn't great to see. Hope it was a one of but I have my doubts.

Joel Gervais

Excellent chocolate almond croissant. Overall beautiful store. Good customer service. The pizza was 17$ and wasn't the best. Still would return. Other goodies looked tasty too!

Edgar escobar

Great place to stop in for a quick to-go gourmet sandwich or a sit down lunch on the padio with a cold beer. They make and sell their own bread, good selection of smoothies, coffees and baked goods (cakes and pastries).

cindy hall

Nice place. A different selection of treats. Variety in a small town is always good. Some food items wrapped in plastic -boooo. These folks have lots of bread. It all looked delicious. More of a french cafe feel to the place as the name suggests. Regrettably, they were selling 12oz coffees thinking they were 16oz -and charging for 16oz. I pointed this out to one of the very nice staff members behind the counter. She was genuinely appologetic and did offer me something to compensate me for my disappointment.

Ted O'Grady

Excellent coffee; latte, cappuccino, expresso americano etc. all top notch. Muffins, cookies, French pastries as well as vegan baked goods decadent & delicious! Savory flavours too. Well worth the stop.

Janet Doyle

I was a bit disappointed as this place came so highly recommended. It took them 25 minutes to prepare a toasted bagel and coffee. The cashier was a bit unpleasant and short with us. Their mountain resort location was much more enjoyable.

Sean Gregory

Excellent food, exceptional service. We explored the food store first and bought food that is not often available in most box food stores. Lots of great organic options! We then popped over to the Cafe and ordered sandwiches to have on their patio deck. We were impressed with the quality of the food and the friendly service. We have recommended this place to our friends!!!!

Erwan Oger

Lovely little place with welcoming staff. Highly recommend!

Bryan Kent

The sweets are good, the line up moves fast enough. The falafel sandwich was more of a hummus spread - edible but not what we thought that we were getting. Falafel vs Hummus, both chick peas but the final product is very different.

Atmosphere is very aprés- ski. Large selection of craft beers, coffees and good menu selection. Gluten free beer and ciders, AMAZING house-made gluten free pizza crust.

jesse

Tasty treats, my friends dont love their coffee, and the water for the green tea was too hot (it is everywhere except specialty tea shops)but everything else was good

John Chik

Great variety on the menu! Delicious home-style cooking and fresh food! Baked goods, breakfast, soups, salads, sandwiches, gelato, home made ice tea, home made bread, pizza and more! Must go for the Montreal Smoked Meat Sandwhich on Gluten Free Bread (see photo below!)

Courtney Bullied

Waited a half an hour outside for one latte. Hmmm something tells me they forgot about me. I’d suggest Dose any day.

I had such a great time at La Baguette. It seems like it's a pretty popular place. We stopped here before touring the national park. I had a full breakfast and my girlfriend enjoyed a soup and sandwich meal with coffee. If you order anything with eggs, try the hot sauce - it's delicious. The bread was fresh baked and equally delicious. We sat outside and enjoyed the sure heat and vibe of townies biking around and ordered their post-ride breakfast. Good spot with delicious food.

Farimah HakemZadeh

A great little shoppe, having Covid-safe practices in play. Enjoyed a quick snack while charging our electric car at the Revelstoke Visitor Center, 2 blocks to the south of here.

Sandra Hakanson

This place was TO-DIE for !! The eggs benny was so so delish, the service was fantastic and even the lattes were amazing. Would definitely stop here again!!

Bill Hamilton

Had breakfast. Staff were very nice. Food and coffee hit the spot. Not a place to go for a quick meal. It's more relaxed.

Roxanne Hovan

The best cappuccinos you will find in Canada. The food is absolutely incredible too, fresh vegetables and fruits, great selection. We went here three times in a single weekend!

Tiffany Martin

Phenomenal bagel, OK coffee, incinerated poutine: Most of the fries for the poutine were burnt on one side. Sent it back. Same issue with the 2nd one. I gave up. Totally unacceptable. If you must come here, stick to the bagels. Crispy on the outside, light and chewy on the inside.

Adem Krupich

If I could marry a sandwich. I got the special but upgraded to a croissant; And thank heavens! Do they ever make a good croissant. The gelato is excellent as well... don't be fooled by the cup sizes, they pile it on! My boyfriend and I could have easily split the smallest.

MATJAŽ PINTAR

We were overnight in Revelstoke on our way home to Calgary from Vancouver. We just wanted good food and good coffee for our early departure. Searched and checked reviews of a few options and La Baguette looked like it would best fit our needs. It did and then some. Son had a big breakfast bowl with eggs, fresh veg and potatoes - he loved it. Coffee and espresso were tasty. But the buckwheat muffins - wow. Should have bought some for the road. Still thinking about them…. Great spot. Recommend.

The Sharmas

Stopped for lunch on our way through and was pleasantly surprised by this little gem. Lunch for 2 with fancy coffees was around $30 and we left very full and very happy with our meal. Service was great and the food was definitely made with love, we'll make this place a regular stop on our way to Alberta

Ppoy Poyy

I can see why this place is so popular. Love the local ingredients they use in all their meals. They seem a bit short staffed

Katie Burrell

Breakfast potatoes are awesome, and everything we had was great. The eggs were super fresh, homemade breads, OJ also. Ate there both days in town. Had to go back. Eggs Benedict with ham is phenomenal

Kevin MacDonald

After reading all the rave reviews, we stopped here for brunch on our way through. La Baguette did NOT disappoint! I so wish I had remembered to take a photo of our photo, because not only did it taste amazing, it also looked lovely. I ordered the poutine benny bowl and my husband had the brunch plate. The portions were huge and I ended up bringing half of mine to go! The potatoes and eggs were cooked perfectly, and the maple habanero sausage was to die for. We asked where we could buy some, and unfortunately it is a private recipe made just for them by a local butcher. on recommendation from other reviewers, we had the maple lattes, and they were perfect. It was busy and the service was fantastic and we didn’t wait any longer than we would have going to any other restaurant. Will definitely be back!

Devon Flynn

On our November 29th 2017 we had a fabulous lunch and great coffee. Super staff and great product. Thanks for the great service .

Joseph Conway

Quirky snow/ski town cafe is a must. Northern Exposure style... Service can sometimes be a bit slow but plenty to take in while waiting. Good food and good takeaway's too. No matter if you are staying in the Revy area or even passing through east of west its wroth dropping in

Bryan Birn

The soup changes all the time and is always so delicious! Their baked goods and bread are super tasty and very high quality. BLT all dressed is the best lunch!

Antonio Carruyo Romero

Fresh baked baguettes and coffee, we picked up some goods to go as we took a stop in Revelstoke on the way to Banff. We loved the breakfast food they had here, and if we were passing on through once more, would definitely visit again.

Elsa

Fresh baked bread and bakery items, breakfasts, lunch sandwiches etc. Large portions, great coffee bar. Clean with friendly staff. Been many times the all dressed BLT bagel, and west coast with smoked salmon for breakfast are fresh and large. Also various egg benies.

Fiona Graham

Five stars no doubt I was driving through revelstoke, so we have an amazing break fast. I did no try the bread but looks amazing I have Benedicts with salmon and a salad, but dishes were great and the staff is friendly and efficient. I will come back any time I am close by

Worst service experience In a restaurant ever.! No help from severs . Tried to order breakfast ,. Absolute @&&@@ bull $@&@ when they finally was able to make my order it was past 11 and they wouldn't take it. Like you don't understand we drove 2 hours just to come for breakfast there . Got there at 10:50 and asked the girls near the till and she said you can order here but I can't help you .?! Didn't tell a waitress tryed to order for 10 mins and and finally some one came and said breakfast ends at 11:00 it was 11:05 and been trying to order for 10 mins . Worst service experience in a restaurant ever.

Kathleen O'Reilly

Yum yum!!! Great food, service and ambience for casual dining.

Ken Dugger

Great food. Nice atmosphere.

rudra ray

Fantastic little cafe. They have awesome coffee and their salads are amazing. Can recommend the beet and goat cheese salad, amazing! Will always come here for food when I'm in town.

Teresa M

Beetroot burger is amazing here. Highly recommended it.

Chris Istace

My experience here was lackluster to say the least, if you are expecting a classy unforgettable vibe with your breakfast on your once in a lifetime Revelstoke vacation you should look to the one other breakfast place in town. Negative: Your crepes were soggy, cold and minimal fruit. Also there was no whipped cream? The poutine benny was over-spiced due to spicy sausages... on poutine? Literally NO customer service the entire time we were there. You order your food and that's the extent of your interactions. So basically you tip at the beginning and that's for what? The mango shake I had was served at the end of the meal was awful. My wife's 4 shot expresso was HARD to drink even for a strong coffee lover. (Maybe less shots?) Positves: Our food was prompt enough. My wife enjoyed her replacement Chai London Fog latte. Everyone was polite and friendly. Restaurant decor was attractive with one fire place a few lucky patrons could sit around while eating. In the end I did have a chat with the manager who somewhat listened to what I had to say. She apologized and offered me some very dry and honestly one of the worst tasting banana bread slices I've ever had. Seriously she gave me a bag of what looked like off cuts to loaves that probably didn't sell yesterday. Honestly I realized she wasn't going to offer my money back at all and I just got out of dodge. Needless to say I don't recommend this placw and won't be coming back here on my next ski/snowboard trip to Revelstoke.

Dee Ly

Oh wow! I had a Saturday morning experience here and what a gem! I had the BLT on a bagel and I was so impressed. Food was beautifully presented, fresh baked bagel, alfalfa tomato lettuce was so fresh, came with havarti cheese and I added a fried egg. Very reasonably priced. Coffee was great as well. The vibe ... love the vibe at this place so cozy and welcoming. Service - everyone I encounter was super friendly and sweet. Fast service too. Can't wait to visit this amazing place again ????

Aisha Leung

They serve great sandwiches. Staff is really friendly.

Melissa

We enjoy the coffee and foods. Egg benny and hash brown are very tasty. Kid's waffle is very good portion. Crepe is nice as well.

Liubov Azarova

Decent breakfast. Great coffee (flat white). Friendly staff. Outside seating does not have a view. Atmosphere was ruined by semi idling across the street.

Abram Bailey

Incredible food! We ordered a pizza each and were blown away. I cant eat gluten and they have great gf options available. The muffins and coffee are top notch too. Highly recommend!

Mark Bennett

Really outstanding food with a great atmosphere to match. We tried a selection of sandwiches with a salad and fries and thoroughly enjoyed everything. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean and well-decorated in a style that fits with the town's outdoor enthusiasm. We'll definitely be coming back.

Pierre Rainville

I really enjoyed my sandwich and cold brew from la baguette. The service was efficient and friendly. I would recommend this as the perfect lunch stop for a road trip.

C Liew

I was only in Revelstoke for 3 days and had brunch here twice. The classic breakfast wrap and green smoothie were delicious. The mango smoothie and granola bowl were tasty as well. Exceeded my expectations!

Josiah Workman

This has become my new must stop at when I road trip out. Its a pleasant little place, service can be a little slow but the food more than makes up for it. They provide fresh baked goods as well full meals.

Ivan “Vanya” Romanenko

On route to Banff wanted a quick lunch but the lineups for the restaurant were out the door and around the block. Decided to try again on our way home and this time got lucky. Menu was difficult to read as it is posted by cashier where you order and pay, so you feel rushed to make a decision quickly. Wish a copy was posted on their website. Ordered the smoked meat sandwich along with a side of Roasted red pepper tomato soup and coffees. The sandwich was to die for. Reminded me of the ones I used to eat in Montreal. Soup was delicious too. Waitress forgot all about our coffees (was chatting with co-worker) so a friendly reminder and they were delivered promptly. I can see why people line up for this place.

Wendi Laing

The perfect coffee shop! I had a delicious and creamy chai latte with oat milk, mocha sables and my absolutely favorite almond and Bailey truffle. Highly recommend! Big love!

Livy Little

Delicious coffee and fantastic food! I got a maple latte with oat milk and it was so yummy! they also allow you to bring a to-go cup!! I also had a West Coast bagel, all dressed no tomato. It was one of the best Montreal style bagel sandwiches I have had outside of MTL itself! I will be stopping by every time I am in Revelstoke!

Brandon Crossley

Kind of disappointed. When we got here nobody told us where to go as the restaurant is split into a cafe side and restaurant side. We wandered around until the staff asked us “you know where you order right”. Once we ordered we were told to sit at a table that was dirty with dishes all over it. We moved them ourselves and when we got our food (which we actually got pretty quickly) it wasn’t anything special. Just a little pricy for it not to be amazing. Veggies were undercooked, but my egg was over cooked. Nobody came to ask us how our food was and we had to go chase somebody down just to ask for condiments. Staff weren’t that friendly unfortunately. Probably won’t be back.

Carolina Silvestre

I love their croissants, breads and Parallel 49 coffee.

Rachel Goldsmith

Order a Bagel and waited 20min before I asked the girl if it was on its way or something was wrong. She told me yes it's coming then 10min later I asked someone else and they messed up and gave my order to someone else, so she gave me a cold bagel that was sitting there for a long time.. not impressed. Also the coconut icecream was sour.. We are not going back for sure.

Robert Amezquita

La Baguette catered a wedding that I was at last weekend, and it was incredible! It was a gourmet style BBQ and the flavours were amazing, the meat perfectly tender and the salads done beautifully. The staff was lovely. They did such an amazing job!

La Baguette was a treat to dine at. They had upbeat staff, wonderful coffee, and delicious breakfast. I had the breakfast poutine, which was healthier than these dishes typically come out - I was pleasantly surprised and am going to miss this dish back home. The atmosphere of the restaurant, paired with the great food made for a memorable stop.

Chaotic and confusing. Didn't bother to stay and taste the food. Walked out.

Gianluca D'Antonio

Worst coffee I have had in a while. Tried both in town and ski resort locations. Got a latte at both. My croissant was great. Foods good but skip the coffee.

Paul Ekberg

The food here was excellent in my opinion. If you aren’t in a rush it is a great spot to grab some food for the road. We were driving back to Calgary from Sicamous and decided to get a pizza for the road and it was awesome, though it did take a little bit getting to us. However, I didn’t find the wait too bad because I was enjoying a drink, a roiboos ice tea with apple juice ice. I also ordered a chocolate chip cookie which was a great choice.

fred fulford

Amazing food experience!! So happy we got to enjoy this gem. Natural fresh ingredients, sinful french patisserie, excellent breakfast dishes. The coffee was good but not the best.

Eric Klassen

Rugged-posh atmosphere. Beautiful food and treats. Gelato and sorbet by the scoop. Not enough seating for how busy it gets. A little pricey for the smaller serving sizes.

Paige Bogaerts

Inadvertently walked in here at closing time. None of the staff informed us but they were obviously in a rush and short of patience. We were with two small kids and ordered some cakes and things that needed to be eaten at a table and nobody informed us they were closing and wouldn't allow us to sit there until after taking our money. We proceeded to sit outside at the tables of the what seemed to be a restaurant of the same name but we're only told, rudely, by the same waitress that had served us earlier that we were not allowed to sit there as it was a licensed patio. Blonde girl with Australian? accent, you need to learn some manners. Creme brule and truffle cake were mediocre at best. Chocolate mouse cake was awesome.

Herman K

Food was so good! Loved the beetroot burger, the patty was done perfectly along with all the fresh veggies. Left my sunglasses there on Saturday and the lady who picked up the phone was so nice and wrap it in a plastic bag so that it wouldn’t be scratched. However, 2days later we went back to pick it up and wanted to try more food. The service we received was not the best, the person that I talked to, she was very obvious not in her best mood to work today, maybe because it’s a holiday? Maybe because I was an Asian? I don’t know, her tone and her body language was just odd..she was shrugging and not very wanted to help, almost like rushing us, it made us felt very uncomfortable, plus we were the only Asian there at that time… people around us were kind of looking at us…I’m still feeling upset when I’m writing this. I can understand the pressure working at restaurants industry, but you can’t give looks and be impatient toward customers, even with a mask on, people can tell…

This is a must stop if you’re driving though Revelstoke, don’t let the locals get it all to themselves. When traveling through on highway #1 don’t stop at the regular gas station stops. Take the road into town and get amazing coffee and fresh baking! I’ve been here before and had to return on this trip through Revy. They have expanded since my last stop and now have a full dining room with table service. I can’t wait to try a breakfast some time.

Glover Jackson

Great food, great coffee. Update: came October 4th and 9th 2020, same girl at till. My mother in law is older and has trouble hearing, music was loud both visits, which is fine, but we had a hard time hearing. Super rude. Both girls... one rolled her eyes at us.... I felt like we were a huge inconvenience. I apologized if she thought we were annoying them because they seemed super annoyed. Another staff gave me an apologetic look and tried to be kind. Sad. I recommend this place to everyone who comes through Revelstoke. I stand behind the food. It is amazing, but man, the customer service needs to step up their game. ????

Lydia Henderson

Greta baked goods and coffee. I stop by here every time im in town. They also have wonderful in house baked bread. Pricing is pretty normal for an upscale cafe. Brunch here was good, the bagel breakfast sandwiches are a great deal at around 5$.

Food here is good, but we had a very negative experience with both the staff and the coffee. She messed up our very simple coffee order, which is always fine and we were really polite- but then she was SO rude in return and when she redid the order it tasted like dirt (probably purposely), we had to go get coffee elsewhere. Would not return here again.

Wendy Reimer

Most unhelpful staff... we drove from CALGARY because we heard such good stuff... why would you want to eat at a place that is SO INCREDIBLY RUDE??? We just wanted a tiramisu and they were not able to help out with that... they were more than 6 feet away but still wouldn't talk to us.... online hours are 8 am to 4 pm but at the store it is 8 am to 3 pm... so incredibly disappointed with this decision TO VISIT this store... I would give ZERO STARS IF I COULD!!! Called them to see if they could do something for us since we drove all the way from Calgary.... answer was "whatever is on the website is on the website" ---- food might be okay but if the customer service is so BAD and HORRIBLE then how long will this place stay operational and running???? Nothing updated on the website ...... just so unhappy with this decision to drag myself and my family here so THIS!!!!!

Fish Taco

The best Montréal smoked meat sandwich I've ever had. That's coming from someone who has eaten Smoked meat sandwiches from Montrèal. Reasonable prices, Great happy and quick service. A comfortable ambience. The cherry on top after a great day of being at Revelstoke.

Gabriel Susa

This place is very hip, very busy & very "in" right now. Myself and a friend went in & was happily greated with menus at the ready. The staff was knowledgable but it was all down down hill from there. We found a seat inside (which again is very cool- decorated well). As we sat chatting the 3 main waitress staff were walking around aimlessly, asking table after table "is this your order"? They all had no clue who's meal or drink, snack or dessert belonged to which customer which was comical to see for the first 2 mins but became frusterating when we didnt recieve OUR meal 25minutes in. We had to go to the till and ask- & we didnt recieve our drinks until 10 minutes after we finally got our food. The food was good, not mind blowing & the one service person did make our drinks larges after they found out about our wait. We were definitely not the only ones that became frustersted: a russian couple sitting next to us (which were there before us & ordered before us) left without eating because of the wait & had to ask multiple times for the correct coffee drinks. A large family of 6 also decided to get a refund on their food because the wait was so long - food came to the table multiple times "is this your order/ is this correct" & seemed to be wrong each time; dad did recieve his food very quickly but was the only one sitting there with a plate in front of him. They all walked out. I found the pricing was a little high but overall - they fixed the problem (gave us large coffees on them), the staff was kind & food was good. Fun little experience but have patience.

We ordered eggs Benny for breakfast. Definitely did not leave hungry! Great value for your money and everything tasted great!

Nice little establishment located downtown and close to some pretty cool ships. The ambiance was decent and food was also pretty good while the selection of different beers and drinks was good. We found the food to be good quality and very fairly priced. The service was mediocre. I would likely try this place again.

Eliška Semrádová

Love this place and always visit when in Revy but I have to say that their coffee is really disappointing. I keep waiting for a good cup of dark roast coffee but I always end up with something weak and flavourless. It doesn't taste like they cut corners with their delicious baked goods so I wish their dark roast coffee was actually strong and flavourful too. Maybe two more scoops per pot?

On of the best salads I've ever had! Goat cheese, baked root veggies, greens and seeds. Stop by this Revelstoke gem for great food and service and while you are there pick up some freshly baked bread.

The coffee was horrendous and overpriced. The staff is very nice but the owner is beyond rude. I recommend any other local business in Revelstoke.

This bakery is fantastic, i wish we had one like it in Squamish. We originally planned to stop for coffee but decided to stay for breakfast. I had a delicious poutine eggs Benny... It was amazing! The potatoes were crisp, the eggs a perfect medium and they used squeaky cheese! The coffee was delicious and although i wasn't thrilled with one of our pastries, the almond croissant was excellent. We will be back!!

Patrick O'Neill

Love this place! Was super stoked that there is now a sit down restaurant. They were busier than expected when I visited and had run out some ingredients but we ate a delicious pizza and non traditional poutine. So excited to go back for a poutine when they have cheese curds.

Haley du Fresne

Fantastic coffee, tea and pastries! An absolute must stop for any visit to Revelstoke. Best Ham & Cheese Croissants in BC! Service is always friendly, and they open bright and early for those early risers.

Get the BLT all dressed with an egg on top! Not only is it delicious, it's so fairly priced you'll wish you got yourself two. I've never been disappointed by La Baguette. Best spot in Revy

BAD! Went there based on the reviews on Google Map today. They were busy, long waits for table, taking orders and for the food. Aft over 20min wait we told the server if still not ready in 15, we would leave. Served within 2min! Geez! Couldn’t recognize it as all burnt like charcoal! Thought it was seasoned with dark sauce and it was bitter as totally charred! Brought the plate to them, all 3 servers gathered and insisted that was how they served, it was not burnt but crisped! I was really mad at that unbelievable denial! Told them to try it (of coz, they didn’t) & if they would eat it I would pay for it! They eventually did waived the bill and apologized aft I kind of lectured her abt the indecency of serving inedible food! (Black stuffs on the plate are supposedly potatoes, entire layer burnt & obviously being tried hidden under!)

Trailhead Athletics

Great choice of bread, desserts, cookies, bagels, sandwiches, pizzas... that taste very good actually The style of the shop is also very nice But the expresso coffee was the worst I have ever tasted : overly acid x ( Another bad point is the car exhaust gas that blow on the food if sat at the terrace

Yuliya Baran

Great food and pastries, completely unpredictable flaky service. Yesterday's counter staff had a cold and kept on coughing in her hand, handling food, cash after coughing into her hand. Get your service staff figured out guys. Train them on food hygiene.

I've eaten here several times and the experience is always a delight. The food is really delicious and fairly priced, the staff are great as well. I love buying their fresh bread to take home. They have good vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options too!

Thomas Burdick

Very tasty place to grab a quick meal during the day, or sit down dinner and a craft beer at night. Popular with locals and tourists.

Joey St-Pierre

I ordered egg&ham panini and coffee. It was tasty.

Breanne Kelly

Service was unfriendly. The person working was rude and appeared to not want to be there. The food was good, however. The muffin was tasty and the ham in the croissant was delicious.

Terence Ballinger

Great place with awesome sandwiches and salads and good coffee. They only do take out currently but great system. Order on their website or fb page!

Seymour Settler

Bit pricey and food was bit salty (or too savory which ever you think) but good get away restaurant in a small town

Madan Mohan das

Didn't spot gluten free options but its curry wrap was so good that you could easily avoid eating the bread

Derek Desroches

Really cute place with yummy homemade things! You order at the counter and then they bring it to your table. We took some things to go as well, to munch on the road. The almond chocolate croissant will change your world. It was so good!! The pesto mushroom sandwich was also incredible. It's on homemade ciabatta and it was perfectly done.

Kissha Saint

Delicious bagel sandwiches. Lots of veg/vegan options. Staff were friendly. Good prices. I was visiting from Ontario and will definitely reccomend to any of my friends travelling to Revelstoke.

Alexandra Pollari

Good food as far I am concerned ...tried breakfast and lunch and I cannot complain. Food nice, atmosphere nice.

Patricia Spencer

Good brew coffee ☕️ Cake was ok..

Eri. D

Food was really good. Had the eggs Benedict and it was delicious. Homemade bread, fresh rosemary, homemade hash browns. Clean nice outdoor seating

Kandoo Ooo

I have no idea why people stand in line here. Not much of a selection and extremely slow for 1 breakfast wrap. Most of the sandwiches etc pre made. 30+ minutes to order and wait for a wrap. Pretty brutal

Graeme Morris

We stop in almost every time we visit Revelstoke, summer and winter. The barista makes a mean latte, but the real star is the food. The breakfast wrap is excellent, and the croissants - OMFG. There isn't much seating, especially in the winter, so if it's busy you may need to get your treats to go.

Donovan Jang

The food was all wonderful. And really fast. Great work, staff, management, and owners. Would love to come back. Good balance of ready to serve and fresh-made. We are a family of four and everyone, 33, 32, 6, and 3 enjoyed their meal.

Long Jian

La Baguette is our go to stop for coffee and food when we drove through this area every fall. Great coffee, spectacular food options and just great servers and staff from all over the world. You have to stop in if you're driving past. Take a short break, get out of the car and enjoy the space.

Oliver Li

We were running Google Maps offline and stopped by just because of the name and the rating. No regrets! Will be stopping again next time we're in Revelstoke. Great beet burger, Bree L.T. and breakfast wrap! It was clean, we'll organized, socially distanced, and fast. One of the best COVID 19 setups for sure. Support them and stop by on your way through!

Delicious bagels, lovely coffee (they serve 49th Parallel and know how to steam milk!), professional staff. Highly enjoyable atmosphere, so a definite go-to for whoever drives by Revelstoke or lives there. Will come again on my next trip to BC.

Rebecca Lawyer

Normally this is my go to place. Today's experience was really unfortunate. My partner and I placed and order for 2 lattes, a bagel and a bounty bar. After about 10 minutes everything except my latte was delivered. We understand that things take time so we waited another 10 and it never showed up. We inquired about it and were informed that it was never ordered/paid for. No problem, these things happen. I guess the employee didn't hear my partner ask for 2. My partner goes back inside to pay for the second latte. Ten minutes pass again, we inquire about the latte. It was never made, moreover, the espresso machine was now shut down and being cleaned. We sat for about 30 minutes and never got what we ordered. The employees were nice enough about it and provided a refund, but come on. If I've waited that long the least you can do is deliver on what I've been waiting for. Hate to complain about the place but this incompetence has really left a bad taste in my mouth. I know all places in town are short staffed and mistakes happen. My partner had to go inside a 3rd time to process the refund and get her own to go cup so we could leave and get a coffee for myself somewhere else. Not correcting this mistake has likely lost my business going forward.

Geoff Holman

The food, drinks and pastries are delicious! The layout needs a little work but the staff were very welcoming and professional

Colin C

Delicious sandwiches and coffee! Get the goats cheese bacon and pear ????

Catrin Hayes

Ate so quickly, don’t have pictures! My partner three days later is still taking about the iced cappuccino, and says next time we are in two he will be getting one for there and one to go! The food was absolutely amazing, our table had a bit of everything on the menu - and not a single negative thing to say! A lot of silence during lunch while devouring our amazing food! A definite stop if you are staying or passing through Revelstoke!

V S

I'm here pretty much daily. It's the place I call my coffee office. The staff is very friendly and the food is great. Drop in and say hi.

The food was tasty, freshly made. My only concern was that for dine in, they were not checking the covid passports as per the Public Health Order. Which to me is disappointing. Edit, based on the owner's response and false information, they should check the updated PHO and perhaps they forwent their liquor license for nothing, I am taking away a star. I choose to be covid safe, so I will not return.

Alex Martin

A beautiful cafe! Stopped here on a road trip, but I would go back and stay in Revelstoke just to eat their croissants and drink their coffee and tea every day.

Maggie Maxwell

Food was pretty tasty, and they did a good job with the very changing covid regulations when I went through in July. I went with the montreal smoked meat sandwich and a coffee. Would stop by while driving through again.

Super bad breakfeast. Weird sausage, super spicy and not good. Bénédicte egg too fancy look and no good as well, not egg muffin bread and super dry. Fruits wasn't fresh. So disappointed, review are not reflecting this place. It's the worst breakfeast we had ever. Both meal we took was horrible!

David

I don’t usually write reviews but I have to in this case. This breakfast place is outstanding! Try to come before 11am (1pm during weekends) and try Spinach and Brie from the breakfast menu or Le Québecois bagel. Viva La Baguette! ????

Charlie Picken

The food was excellent but the services was so rude, not just to us but to the next 2 people who were waiting for their orders , one woman came to the window and said she was trying to order Gellato but could not find it on the menu. In stead of try to assist her or just ordering it for her she got sent back to her car with her 3 children to try and find it herself. Another woman was sent away because she did not know she had to pay by debit and she brought cash. Her order was $15.00 so she had to talk to people in line to see if she could give them her $20.00 and they use their bank card. The whole experience was sad and could have been handled with so much better. Why does the restaurant not take payment online with PayPal then they would not have to treat people so rude. Everyone is trying to get through the Pandemic and just being greeted like you are not the enemy would go a long way.

The Modern Hippie Project

Nice food, scenic location to hang out, friendly staff. Food doesnt arrive all at once from kitchen, but its really tasty. Perfect break while driving the Trans Canada!

Greg Duncan

Great food. Order from the counter and they bring it to you. Some cool art for purchase. Nice fireplace to sit beside on those cold mornings.

Dave Krahn

Cutest lil rustic cafe. BLT bagel was pure heaven and only $5! Curry soup was an explosion of amazing flavours. Kids pasta was large and delish. Yummy jam too. Staff were friendly and attentive. Clean and quaint. Thank you!!

Camille Erika Sarte

Great sandwiches and pastries. Also has possibly the best gluten free bread we have found. We stop here every time we pass Revelstoke.

David Powell David Also David - Flipp Realty

Amazing pastries, very friendly atmosphere and very impressive considering the size of the restaurant. We were coming back from Calgary to Vancouver and heard that there was a great French place in Revelstoke. Not exactly a completely french cafe, but delicious food nonetheless. Something of a diamond in the rough.

Keena E

If you are passing Revelstoke I highly recommend to stop for food and coffee. Currently they dont accept cash because of Covid-19 and indoor seating. Food is great and staff as well

Mr. Badgero

We checked out La Baguette for the first time last year when we were in Revy for the Thanksgiving weekend. It was absolutely awesome. Finding ourselves in Revy again this Thanksgiving it was our go-to for breakfast and tasty snacks. Looking at the menu online you might be thrown off by the Francais on the menu headings. While there are French inspired items on the menus this isn't pompous cuisine. The food is thoughtful, fresh, inspired and extremely tasty. The testament to this are the lines of locals who pop in for their daily coffee and fresh baking along with the numerous tourists, hikers, skiers and bikers who do the same. Even when busy, the food isn't compromised. It just takes a little longer to come out. Let me say that the croissants are some of the BEST I have ever had. They come in a number of sweet and savoury varieties. Pro-tip: the almond croissant a are to die for. On our last day in town I was willing to trade in my 6 year old (who I love dearly) for one as they were out. Speaking of kids, mine were huge fans of the mango tumeric smoothies and the kids' eggs and bacon. There are some amazing items on the menus, and I have now tried many of them but the standouts for me are the Rosti stacks for sure. Just the right amount of food to get you all set for a day of adventuring. If you are in Revy La Baguette should be your go to and not just for breakfast. The lunch sandwiches and bagels are sublime as are the wood fired pizza and amazing burgers. Add in the tasty selection of micro-brews and La Baguette is a proven winner! Lastly, allow me to give a shout out to the amazing staff. They are great, efficient and deliver their service with a smile.

Nate Powell

Good quality food. Good price. Good coffee. I went there around 1:30 pm and had to wait for the food for 30 mins which is acceptable. But the staff didn’t have service mind at all. And they took my order wrong :(

Jackson Choi

Excellent Eggs Benedict. Good coffee. Very friendly staff. A great place for my early breakfast. They were recommended, and did not disappoint.

anna schmidt

Great breakfast and coffee! The sweet potato hash was outstanding, but what I found surprisingly good... The, what I assume, is the homemade ketchup and mustard. Delicious!

David Mills

Maple latte was awesome. The place is big and offers different sections in the shop, feels like going to diff stores depending on where you choose to seat. A nice place for a lazy afternoon.

Chuck Horne

Best Hash brown I ever tasted. Great ambience and cozy sitting. Friendly staff. Must visit for ur breakfast. We tried Egg Benny and Maple Crepe.

Joe

Good food but rude staff. Our server got my name wrong even though I spelled it out so our food sat and got cold before we got it. I watched an old lady say that her coffee wasn’t hot enough and the staff argued with her that it was hot enough. What kind of customer service is that?

Chocolatine / pain at chocolate was disappointing, lamination of pastry was sub par, and was more like biting into a Kaiser bun than a croissant. The only thing I enjoyed about it was the amount of chocolate they put inside of it, everything else was “meh.” If you are looking for a crispy pastry style of croissant with intricate lamination of butter this place may not be what you’re looking for. Cheesecake was good, but the crust was slightly thicker than any other type of cheesecake I’ve had and was quick to detach from the rest of the cake half way through eating it. Nice view on the patio tho.

Hope M. Pelufo

Food was very good! Poutine was amazing.

Jason Airey

Lots of choice for baked goods and nice cafe. But when ordering any wraps, sandwiches etc it's all premade and not so fresh.

Gibson Tilley

Stopped twice. Got a delicious loaf if hot fresh bread in the morning and returned for dinner in the evening. Was very happy with the food. The smoked meat sandwich was terrific. I recommend.

Julia Rowe

My wrap was good, coffee was decent. Actually got some friendly service this time which was nice. The automatic tipping prompt guilts you into tipping too much, that needs to go away.

Ron S

Amazing food but had to wait 40 mins for a regular take out order

Amber Renton

Excellent food and very friendly staff. A great spot for vegetarians!

Sheena Ross

I really like the assortment of food and drink items they have here. My friend and I had a green croissant for st. Patrick's Day here and also an afogado and french chouquettes - where tf else can you get such a variety of sweets that are actually good quality baking?! (Nowhere!!) Anyway, this place is charming and the patrons are cool. Some of them come right on in from a hiking adventure or a day at the slopes still wearing their gear or shoesless and that makes for a really chill atmosphere. would highly recommend.

Yuanita Klatt

Love this place. Small but with a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. Not much seating but we got there just before the lunch rush hit. A bit of a wait for our meal but worth it. Fresh ingredients prepared in great ways. Can't fail with that combo. Grabbed an americano on my way out and was glad I did. Will stop here again on my way through town, even if only for the coffee.

Louise Dormaar

Just go here . . That is all. Food - 5/5 Beverages - 5/5 Atmosphere and Vibe - 5/5 Service - 5/5 1 - Absolute hot garbage 2 - Kinda hot garbage 3 - Decent, but nothing to write home to mom about. 4 - Sexy, like fresh pow on a clear day. 5 - Facing out of this world.

Vojislav Keselj

We usually stop at this spot passing through Revelstoke to grab a sandwich. We have enjoyed their gourmet sandwiches in the past. It has been over a year since we have stopped in and perhaps the expansion has effected the care and quality put into the food. The quality of what we got this last visit was very disappointing. We ordered a brie and bacon grilled cheese, I took a bite and it was just bread, opening the sandwich to see this slapped together mess. The bread was sliced thin and the toppings were very minimal. I tried to reach out by email to share my experience but never received a response. The photo is of one half of the $8.50 + tip sandwich i received. * I did recieve an email and was refunded the amount on a giftcard

Andrew Gillis

Mediocre service and inefficient ordering system, this place completely failed to live up to the hype. We also noticed questionable hygiene practices where dirty utensils were mixed with the clean (due to their confusing table and service methods) and right in front of us we noticed one server sneezing into her hand before continuing her service and another picking her nose. Absolutely intolerable!

Julian Miranda

Picked the best home made tomato soup and fresh walnut raspberry bread. Thank you!

Revelstoke Jim

Food was ok, service was terrible. Busser barely wiped out table after taking 10 minutes to clear it. Too bad the tip is paid ahead of time at the cash.

Katrine Konopnicki

Delicious pastries - bad attitude. The pastries are simply amazing but the attitude of the staff at the take out counter is not pleasant. Ordered half a dozen(very expensive) pastries and came home with a different selection than I actually ordered. Perhaps they could pay more attention to the service. Every customer is important.

David Sawatzky

I stopped into La Baguette for a quick lunch while on a road trip through BC. After doing so, all I can say is that it's totally worth the detour from the highway stand-bys of McDonalds and A&W. La Baguette's menu consists of a small selection of sandwiches, salads, coffees and bakery items ranging from house-made breads to creative pastries and delicate macarons. On this visit, I tried one of their regular sandwiches: the Montreal smoked meat. The sandwich came on a buttered a grilled multigrain bread (fresh made, of course) and was piled high with rich Montreal smoked meat. Toppings included thin sliced dill pickle, grainy Dijon and a hot pepper. For the road, I picked up one the brownies on offer by the front counter. The brownie was perfectly fudgy and rich with cocoa flavor. Currently, the restaurant has a limited amount of seating, but work is ongoing to add much more space. The service was very friendly and I enjoyed some extra "touches" like the help-yourself water tap which provided chilled, room temp and sparkling water.

Honest review: Food: 4 Price: 3 Ambiance: 3 Our food/coffee was great. Typical slightly overpriced mountain town establishment. Cute location, but a bit pretentious. Feels more like a local's hangout than an inviting place to discover. Its quite clear that at the time of me writing this, visitors are not really welcome there. You can feel the resentment as eyes are laid on you by the staff. Truly unfortunate. Let's hope that it was a one off... for the owners. All good, plenty of other choices around town!

Randy Marler

Had the vegan sunshine bowl! It’s tasty but really greasy and honestly a bit too rich for me for breakfast. The patty is made mostly of shredded beets and sunflower seeds, drizzled with what I think was a miso dressing. Latte was yummy and the patio is nice!

Leanne G

The food is quite good and it's a cute cafe style seating. The menu is robust and likely has something to suit everyone. Most tables Seat 4 or more and the challenge becomes finding a seat when you want to sit down for your meal.

Jennifer Savage

Great Sandwiches. Have ate here before .Grub is always good. Too bad pandemic has slowed service. Be prepared to wait a while for your order.

Allain Hachey

Eggs Benny were delicious. Great service. Very nice place to stop on a roadtrip.

Katrina Neiman

Great place for coffee and sweets very friendly and professional service.

staff were rude and obnoxious, snack options & bakery treats & bagels were great, coffee was average, if you can't make a flat white, don't make it and use a thermometer for the milk. 2 days in a row , same treatment.....

The food was terrible. & so were the drinks. The mango smoothie tasted heavily like turmeric. & the hot chocolate tasted like they melted a chocolate bar. WAY TO THICK, & chocolatey. We took two bites & a couple sips & than asked for a refund. Their response was “well I don’t get what’s wrong with it, no one complains about our food” ITS GROSS. The manager came out & said no to a refund. I have never been to a restaurant that refused a refund when there food was unsatisfactory. Also they asked for a tip when we ordered. Who does that? ????

Jeff s

What a great place to get delicious meal with a service that is truly genuine, welcoming and warm. I definitely recommend anyone to visit and enjoy all that is offered at this establishment, regardless if you're just passing through or visiting Revelstoke for a while.

Ayşenur Korkmaz

Great sandwich and coffee place in Revelstoke.

Alex Loraas

The hot chocolate was great, served warm and not piping hot which I always appreciate. Quite busy when we went and locals seem to love the place however the grilled cheese special I ordered, supposedly cheddar and bacon was a disappointment. It was served with only a tomato and no bacon in sight. I reported this to the cashier but she did not get back to me, she just changed the special board to Cheddar & Tomato.

Bruce MacNeil

Excellent bakery with exceptional coffee. Go early, they run out of product fast, and this place gets busy. We've been stopping in here every summer for the last four years. If the owner reads this, please add cinnamon buns to your offerings!

Isaac Kim

Great menu with many really tasty options. Excellent service.

Maveric Northcott

Incredible, awesome trail mix cookies! Good pastry though not really fresh. Good black tea. Overall it is good to have a place like this in Revelstoke! Cons: espresso was literally worst in my life. Awful. They need to try what they brew at times.

Excellent bakery/café in the heart of Revels toke. The cafe latte was hot and milky, the croissant light and tasty! Would highly recommend stopping when passing through on your way to Vancouver!

This is a must stop every time I drive through Revelstoke! Their coffee is amazing, their baked goods are amazing, and the gelato is such a nice treat. The location is easy to get to and the patio area is great in the summer. They even have a restaurant if you want to take a load off and have a drink.

I'm always on the hunt for places that put real chocolate in coffee instead of syrups and the mocha here was fantastic. Biscotti was also good. I'd certainly recommend checking this place out.

Bland drinks, poor communication and poor customer service! We misunderstood what the barrista was describing our Macchiato to be. Between plexi glass, masks and an accent it was hard to hear and we had thought we were getting a Macchiato coffee with a shot of espresso but it turned out to be just a shot. We tried explaining that it wasn't clear and instead of offering a coffee they offered us a cookie, not quite the same but nice try! I don't think we'll be back!

Heather Hiley

In search of the best cappuccino outside of Europe - this place is up there. Baked goods were very fresh and competitively priced. Would definitely come back for a road trip stop.

Alana Ferguson

If you travel to Revelstoke or are a local, the egg Benedict's are hands down the best thing I've ever eaten. The bread, ketchup sauce and meat is made in house and the hollandaise sauce is always on point. Try it out with the maple pulled ham Its a délice.

Chris Knorr

La Baguette was a disaster, stay clear of that place please! Completely messed up our order, we were unsure whether gluten free order was gluten free, got it delivered to go in a bag while I ordered it to stay. Horribly greasy pulled pork, soggy bun from the grease, didn't follow directions, soup tasted only like pepper... yuck

Spencer Bieri

Great food, it's a popular joint, so be warned about the line

Jeff Tessolini

This place is a most go. If you are visiting the breakfast is truly amazing. If you don't try it you will regret it. La Baguette is a dinning experience the food is full of flavor and the presentation is beautiful.

Excellent cappuccino, vegan options, too. My wife had the maple crepe (photo), which she said tasted as good as it looked. Once you get inside (the most obvious doors are locked, the one that isn’t has a counterintuitive handle) you can’t go wrong.

Ocean Grace Grundy

Great stop when travelling back and forth on highway, many of options fantastic baked goods, sandwiches, smoothies, and speciality coffees / teas to keep you warm and awake.

Mr Lou

Friendly staff, good food. Lots of bugs outside. A bit pricy.m for the food and ice cream served.

Joseph Huh

A lovely cafe with excellent coffee and outdoor seating. The desserts and ice cream were great. The place is beautifully decorated, and we were especially impressed by the tables inside, made of concrete with incorporated wood. Overall great!

Martin Jonsson

We were just heading out of town and very grateful that the La Baguette was open early so that we could grab something for the road. They have covid process in place so it was easy to grab our stuff and be on our way. My only complaint .. is that I wish they had a larger size of coffee. It was gone before we finished our road trip. ;-)

Paris B

Nice place in downtown Revelstoke. It was a very short walk from the place we stayed in. I ordered the Benny with Salmon. Our son had the granola bowl. My wife had the vegan burger and our daughter had the Early Bird breakfast. All were quite nice. Our daughter kept saying how good her food was. The kids enjoyed the granola bowl as well. My Benny was great. Coffee was big and good.

Kyle Levesque

Not my first time, and then second visit didn’t disappoint. Great food, great staff and totally delicious latte!

Kaitie Carson

Very cute little cafe. The food and the espresso were very good, and the prices were good. The service was fast, and all around good. Definitely a great little restaurant.

Layne Klassen

Loved the place, even in covid times! They've set up a cool system. First visit only 1 waitress was wearing a mask and they were super grumpy but came back because the food was great. 2nd time, a few days later, they all wore masks and were super nice. I asked for gf options and they were good about it. No reactions

Jolene Walker

The breakfasts were amazing! Benny poutine was fantastic. Gf said it was one of her top 3 breakfasts!

Alan Ho

Great little place. Saw it had great reviews and it did not disappoint. It was busy as well. They baked their own bread here, which was awesome. Ordered the Montreal Smoked Ham and it was delicious and packed with lots of smoked ham. The soup was also filled with lots of veggies and some turkey and smoked ham. Would totally recommend if your in the area.

Ben Connel

La Baguette was recommended to us as a place we had to go to for breakfast. It did not dissapoint! The service was so great, prompt, friendly, knowledgeable. My son had an eggs Benedict and was the best he's ever had, I had blueberry waffle that was the best I've ever had! Just the right amount of fresh perfect fruit on top. We had to buy a fresh loaf of bread and some pastries for the road.

Stephane Leblanc

Absolutely rude management. I had an outside beverage because found La Baguette online after already grabbing a coffee. I wholeheartedly own this poor planning but as a customer who's actively paying for my food, being told off by the manager and being commanded that I wouldn't be allowed to sit and eat what I paid for doesn't jive. Probably not the smartest plan right as I'm actively selecting what tip amount I want to leave.

Vanessa C

The place has three entrances, we entered one and it appeared that you cue up and order then take your seat. We ordered and I went to sit in the other area as the order area was full. I was told that I couldn't sit there because we ordered ourselves. THERE IS ONLY ONE KITCHEN, IT IS THE SAME OPERATION. I verified this quite stupid rule and fortunately one of the Order area tables opened up so we didn't have to try to eat our eggs benedict standing up. The food was ordinary.

Dragon C

Our first time eating here. We had no idea that we wouldn't be getting served after waiting 10 mins at a dirty table. We had to get our own menus (a clip board with dirty papers), stand in a line up to order, wait for over 35 mins for our salads which were too saturated in dressing to enjoy. Our kids ordered the kids pasta which had undercooked noodles and bread that was too hard to bite. Nobody stops by your table to see how the food tastes or to see if you need anything. Our table had no napkins or forks but luckily a nearby table shared theirs. The cashier and bartender spoke French loudly while I was trying to order. Would've expected to pay less for such an experience.

The Farmer

La baguette was very tasty, The bagel was fresh and delicious the coffee was actual goodthere is nothing worse than going to a small coffee shop and the coffee is not actually good coffee! If I want dark burnt coffee I can go to McDonald's or Tim Hortons this coffee is 49th parallel and it is delicious

Jeremy Kroetsch

Absolutely love this cafe/Restaurant. I had their veggie burger with a coconut carrot soup and they were both delicious! The price is also very reasonable. I always recommend this place to people who visit this town.

Olivia

Great sandwich and gelato shop in Revelstoke. My sandwich was fresh and toasted just right. They also makes the best bagels in town!

Yannic

Really good breakfast Sorry. Dont have time to write much, coz I need to eat now lol

Kootenay Skibum

Very good deli style sandwiches I had also croissants were delicious almond and ham and cheese ....I'd definitely go here again!

Fabián Martínez

Very nice cafe restaurant. Good vibe and clean environment. Staffs are friendly. I recommend pizza and pull pork sandwich. Creamy soup is disappointed.

Mclean Silverton

Amazing food and friendly service. Went to breakfast two days in a row it was so good. Would have returned a third time if we were staying another day. Had the Rosti Stack. Yum!

Devin Howard

I so wanted to like La Baguette! My husband and I sought them out while traveling on our way home to the Okanagan. We were looking forward to trying the gelato. We were dissapointed with the service, to start with......three employees behind the counter ignored us as we waited in front of the gelato counter. After about 10 minutes we were finally acknowledged and we were rudely told that if we wanted service we had to pay first?! Okay.....didn't know the rules. After paying and finally getting our cones, we hit the road only to experience old stale tasting gelato that must have been exposed to who knows what in refrigeration to have tasted so tired. There are so many other places to find good, fresh gelato and ice cream that I would absolutely recommend you try them instead. I predict that La Baguette won't last another season if they don't change! Totally unfortunate!

Scott Regnault

Great breakfast, I had the eggs and prosciutto on a baguette and almond / baileys ball and they were amazing! Will definitely try some gelato next time I'm in town.

Devan Skolski

I had the blueberry waffles and they were so light and fluffy, beautifully presented with the blueberries on top. Definitely recommend the blueberry waffles. On top of the amazing food the servers were so nice. The place itself was very atmospheric.

Mark Strobel

An awesome option for a healthy and delicious snack on a road trip. If you’re driving on the trans Canada and take a quick detour past the fast food chains, you will surely be rewarded. Seems popular with the locals as well! I’ll be back :)

Amanpreet Kaur

Severely disappointing quality and service. Ordered ahead and chose a pick up time-still the food was ice cold. Part of the order was missing (a $5 salad). Sandwich was small (half the size of a bagel sandwich) and cost over $12. Child’s pizza didn’t mention that there was ham on it (an issue as the child it was for doesn’t like ham). When management was contacted about these issues no offer of reimbursement was given for the missing salad plus they were extremely rude about our issues. With all the other fantastic local restaurants in Revelstoke, I would never go back.

ana bela

Enjoyed the food! But, one of the girl's there was overly icy with her greeting. So, it left me a sour taste in the first place. Especially if you work in the customer service industry. And I was hearing she wanted to get off early, cause she was tired. However, It was through my experience of having a cold greeting, hopefully they aren't with yours. That's why I gave 4 stars -- I just have to explain though, if I got there early I would have more choices, LOL. But the food and the coffee is delicious! Must try.

The barista made us feel extremely unwelcome, upon entering the cafe on Friday morning around 9am. She starred us down most likely contemplating if we were properly socially distanced which we were as she soon after looked at our feet which were on the designated markers. This followed with my wife asking for a bagel, to which she answer unapologetically "we don't have those", no alternative provided. Finally, to top it off after our order she shouted my name two times in a row in a rude/condescending /profane way, while laughing with her friend who was in the line up. I could almost careless, but the cherry on top was that she didn't even have the correct order ready , so while social distancing meant so much to her in the beginning I had to wait right at the front of the line up for her to pour us our second cup of coffee. Java was excellent, but then that's not on the barista as much as that is on the bean. Would not recommend.

Delicious coffee, rich pastries, and unconventional-and-tasty breakfast burritos. It’s clear that the staff is working hard to make this spot fill a few different niches over the course of the day (coffee shop and gelato and bistro + market), and they’re currently undergoing some changes to the flow of the establishment to make that work. It worked perfectly for us, stopping in for brunch on the patio before heading to Banff. Loved the thoughtful touch of the dog bowl outside for our pup—made us feel extra welcome!

Hans Sauter

Sandwich was delicious and the coffee divine! Such a cozy atmosphere on a chilly day!

Mike George

Great coffee. Flat white was perfect. Had some nice dense macaroons too. And yummy cheesecake. Will return for the poutine.

Corey Kruchkowski

Great bakery, best coffee in Revy and if you have time for breakfast before hitting the slopes well worth it. Relaxed atmosphere great for families.

I have to stop in whenever I come through Revelstoke. Fantastic.

Scott Baker

Probably one of the best lattes I have ever had!

susan mills

Fresh made food and rustic decor. What more could you ask for? This is a modern eatery where you must stop on the way through Revelstoke. We were looking for something to eat after descending Mt Revelstoke and had heard good things about this place. Take your pick of the various styles of seating - couches around a fireplace, stools and bartop or the traditional table/booth. We had the soup and sandwich combo, they were delicious - perfect for the colder day. Definitely recommend giving this place a try.

Great place for breakfast. Had eggs Benedict was delicious. Had to order lunch to since it was so delicious. Has a large selection of items such as wraps, sandwiches, breakfast, bakery items and Gelato. Service was good. Would come back.

Laurel Lay

Awesome food and great coffee, they are dog friendly outside on the patio. I will be back as I love the Montreal smoked meat sandwich.

Had a great pasta bowl here. It's a nice little rustic joint with a good heritage. Lots of stuff I wanna try here!

Kenneth Zasada

Absolutely delicious. Good gluten free options with terrific sandwiches. Coffee is decent but not as good as the sandwiches. Worth the detour into revelstoke.

One of those great places in ski towns. Great food, amazing atmosphere and exceptional service. Unique variety of tees with specialty mixes hand made on spot - for those who loves that extra bite they have great ginger with turmeric mixes. Didn’t even get to pastries but they looked really tasty.

Miktub

I had the maple latte (with oat milk) and the sunshine bowl. Both were fantastic! Best latte I've had. Super cozy atmosphere inside.

Great place, get food every time we visit Revelstoke. Always warm service fantastic coffee and food!

Jo Ann McLellan

We love the coffee and bakery. Their beans are also rich in flavor.

kaz m

Great selection of fresh baked fare, tasty treats and locally roasted coffee. Gluten free options and they have some light lunch items but I always go there for the carbs! Friendly and quick service, patio and indoor seating...a true French cafe!

Rick Nybakken

Staff were kinda cranky with each other and it was quite slow considering there was only one person ahead of me. Some food was great, some average. Nice spot but over all I was disappointed due to their generally good reputation.

Sassy Lemons

Great ice cream. I also loved their tea latte. Amazing artwork from local artists for sale. The cafe has two sections that are poorly coordinated. We ordered tea and waited for an hour for our chocolate truffles. They never came. Our waiter apologized though.

Everett Sass

I was only in Revelstoke for a short visit but I went here a couple times. I love the atmosphere and the staff was really welcoming and helpful with suggestions for food to try.

David Clark

La Baguette is phenomenal. Their coffee and espresso is 49th Parallel from Vancouver and their bakery items are just perfect. We also tried some of their breakfast options, eggs benedict and breakfast plate were tops.

graham townsend

Ordered Americano but got drip instead. Asked for cream sugar , only got cream. Didn’t offer us to warm up the butter croissant. Maybe just a bad luck day for us, we will try to come back again.

Love this place, second time here. Very cosy and rustic. Food is fantastic

A Goharjoo

The only downside to this place is how popular it is! Good food, good coffee, sandwiches to go, and great staff. Prices are very reasonable. Seating is a little limited, but cozy.

Nimbus Inc

There was a mishap with our breakfast order and the staff was quick to recognize the mistake and more than fairly compensated us for the mistake. We were overly impressed with the service and the food was fantastic. We will definitely visit again.

Caleb Cook

Incredible salad but they don’t sell water bottles… they also don’t serve water in cups? Also took 40 minutes to make a to go sandwich. Cute little place though.

Kristine Voykin

Awesome food and super friendly staff! I'm in there all the time

Emily J.

Amazing tomatoe pesto benny! The potatoes were delicious and the drip coffee was fantastic????

GGCC78

Great food, interesting menu, very good service! Can be quite busy but worth the wait. Had a slight mix up on soup that I ordered, spoke to manager, she corrected it exceptionally well! Has become a must-stop-at place for us at Revelstoke!

Leif Y

Definitely seems restrained by pandemic protocols, as I was disappointed to arrive and see that there was no eggs benny or other pictured breakfast/brunch items that we might normally seen; however, still a decent cafe spot with solid sandwiches and coffee.

Andrew Muzyk

Good breakfast and great pastries.

I was passing through Revelstoke on my way back to Vancouver so after checking out of my hotel I decided to have breakfast here this morning. Got here when they opened at 6:30. I ordered the eggs Benedict with ham. Actually, I was surprised. It was cooked properly, everything about it tasted good, and it was priced very well at $10. They could stand put a bit more hollandaise on the eggs. It was really good, and I would definitely come back again. I suppose if I had to list something that I wasn't happy with, there were a couple things. They have USB ports behind some of the tables. It's a group of four ports. Some of them don't actually work, and you guys might look at having those repaired. I think them about the only thing that bothered me about breakfast here was the girl who took my order. It's always a good idea to greet your guests when they come in. No one greeted me, and the girl who took my order gave me a look like I alone was the reason that she had to get up and be at work for 630. Her facial expression was like I killed her dog or something. Not very nice. Other than that, great place! Oh- get an actual website. I will never understand how in the year 2017 a company does not understand the value of having an actual website, versus a Facebook page. I don't Facebook. I hate Facebook. And specifically don't do anything where I need to go to Facebook in order to view something. To have to login to a site to look at the restaurants menu is just ridiculous. Cough up a few bucks and get yourself a website.

Vegetarian food available which is life saver for Indians like me. Great atmosphere and delicious food.

Meagan H

Wow. 10 out of 10 for our coffees and the authentic buttery croissants.

Maureen Schmaltz

I continue to be beyond impressed as to the food quality and delicious flavor of literally everything I have tried, from baking to soup, treats, pizza, eggs benny, and gelato all excellent, never disappointed. I return over and over. A Revelstoke must!! The service on the other hand is unfortunately a little inconsistent, in fairness this is one busy place with tones of volume. I have experienced everything from exceptional service to service with “attitude “. That being said the food more than makes up for it. Especially the eggs benny!

Gerald Thorley

Very consistent, great eggs benny, pizza and smoke meat sandwich. Food is hot and cooked well. Thanks, keep up the great work.

Frank Head

Www stopped here on a recommendation for a good place for vegans and vegetarians to eat. There was a good selection of vegetarian options and they said they could make some vegan. We had a pre-made veggie wrap and a curried buckwheat and chickpea sandwich. They were both delicious. They had a nice selection of desserts, pastries, and breads. I would highly recommend this place for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Stephanie Noyon

Sandwich was wonderful. Lots of patio seating. They serve ice cream too!

Anahita Thukral

Hannah and her coworker were so kind and wonderful! Told them I’d try the brioche & danish to decide which was better…. both amazing but have to go with the 3 berry danish !!! 10/10

Doug Summers

Decent spot off the highway, cool flavour combinations, good drink menu, cash only. I stopped in here on a recommendation from my girlfriend, nice interior, cafeteria style service (order at a counter, they bring it over). Got the Parisian baguette with prosciutto, and some tea. Tea was served in a cool contraption. I saw they had microbrews on tap, but was too beat to partake. Good spot, but pretty expensive for a sandwich with no sides. Would return though.

Leanna Gowler

Great breakfast enjoyed outside on a beautiful sunny day

Stephanie Murray

When you come to town after weeks of cooking breakfast on the road in your van, and you find yourself stopping somewhere for breakfast you are going to be apprehensive. You think how can this place compare to my eggs exactly as I like them waking up next to a river, or glacial lake or wherever it is you happen to be sleeping that night. If you're stopping at this place, don't be. Magnificent!
