I had been meaning to try their bakery out for awhile. Followed them on Instagram and watched all the videos and looked at all the pictures and felt as if I would smell that mouthwatering fresh bed smell. Finally bit the bullet this Saturday and walked over while they were still open. A very nice little shop, clean and bright. All the products looked amazing. The antique peanut butter cans were a point of interest! Picked up the Parmesan black pepper loaf and was not disappointed! Fresh and sharp with great flavour and texture. Will definitely be back again to try other loaves and scones.

Saltine Baking Co. has an epic history here in Regina. Starting out as a vendor at the local Regina Farmer's Market, Saltine amassed a loyal following that just couldn't get enough of her baking! I am a huge fan of the unique flour combinations she uses for her breads - and she makes her sourdough bread using a starter that she has cared for (even during holidays) for years! Croissants, scones, and quiches offer variety and you can pick up or order ahead of time. Which brings me to a small critique – this is a bakery, not a coffee shop. Meaning there isn’t a seating area in house. However, there are usually ample parking spots, so if you can’t wait until you get home, eating in the parking lot won’t be frowned on!
