Great French bakery and coffee place. a bit pricey but nice to go for coffee dates, short work meetings and just for hanging out with a friend. It's not a restaurant so beside great pastrys and coffee you won't find anything to eat. The staff are very nice. I've been there a few times, the place is usually packed with people but not too crowded. I like this place!

Excellent crepes, but stay away from the salmon unless you have a salt deficiency. Fruit infused water is an excellent touch, although non-disposable cups would be more fitting of the atmosphere. Sweet treats were a delight.

We dined in with a group of 4 near the end of the business day. The atmosphere here is very cosy, and the quiche and apple cider really hit the spot! Sadly fresh crepes were unavailable during last hour of the day, hoping to try them next visit!

Was recently at Le Macaron and had a bit of a disappointing experience! The shop was fairly quiet and myself and my aunt & nephew were seated at the table by the fireplace. It does say that the table is for bigger parties, however the cafe was quiet and absolutely freezing for March (Air conditioning was on) so we sat by the fireplace! About 45 minutes went by and the owner came and very rudely told us we had to move as a bigger party of 4 were needing this table. I completely understand nicely asking your customers to relocate to a smaller table but there were empty tables all around us with more seating so I was caught off guard when she was so rude, we got up and left! Very disappointing as I really love the pastries and coffee here, I will come back and hopefully get better service this time.

I ordered half slab of their specialty cake for my daughter's birthday. I was excited when I ordered it becuase of thier good rating in google. But when I pick up the cake the design was not the one I expected. So they gave me discount which I appreciate. And the supervisor said the cake is delicious. In my mind I thought the design is fine as long as the cake is good. BUT THE CAKE WAS HORRIBLE, NEVER TASTE LIKE A CAKE AT ALL. IT WAS SO DRY LIKE A AN OLD BREAD. I feel like crying. None of my guests at the party liked it. It was embarrasing as I bragged I ordered it at Le Macaron and they are all excited to taste it. Only less than a quarter was sliced and some of them did not even finish eating their portion . After the party the cake went to the garbage.

On the east side of Regina, along Quance Street, you’ll find a slice of France with an atmosphere perfect for squeezing a relaxing moment into your busy day. At 10:00am on a Wednesday, Le Macaron was hopping. As Gilles and I sat and chatted, a steady stream of people came and went, and the more I heard about what goes into making a macaron the more I became fixated on the display of eight delicious flavors. Of course Le Macaron makes more than just macarons, Jacqueline is a cake designer and there are so many tasty looking pastries to choose from - it pays to take your time and examine your options. It was mind boggling discovering that every month 10,000 macarons are sold here, but after tasting a couple, a few, one of every flavor, it’s not difficult to understand why. Gilles explained that despite the visual complexity of a few of the other pastries, the macaron is still the most challenging to master and create. Making a macaron is not simply about having the proper ingredients, rather the challenge is having the ingredients behave properly: the fineness of the flour, the consistency of the eggs - everything counts. Speaking of ingredients, everything here is made in house with all natural ingredients and to reinforce this point, consider that last year Le Macaron used 7,000 pounds of butter. Hearing the story of Gilles and Jacqueline and the subsequent growth of their dream was very inspiring, but I was also curious what the future looks like for Le Macaron. Just like any business, keeping up with trends and striving to stand out amongst competitors is incredibly important and Gilles echoed that sentiment with some fun ideas for the near future. Recently, a crêpe station was added and the result is somewhat surprising - or at least the demographic of those excited by the addition is surprising. Pensioners are flocking to Le Macaron to enjoy freshly made crêpes. If you’ve never had the opportunity to enjoy a fresh crêpes, Le Macaron is to perfect place to try one. In addition to Gilles and Jacqueline, Le Macaron employs fourteen staff members, of which only four actually work in the kitchen concocting beautiful and tasty pastries. Thanks to Gilles Gobin for taking time to sharing his passion. If you’re in Regina and are in need of satisfying your sweet tooth, a Le Macaron macaron will do the job perfectly.

Highly recommend to anyone for the menu but the only one down thing about this place is every single time I've gone in the mornings around 7AM-9AM, the people taking orders are not approachable at all and seem miserable. No smile and non friendly approach, sometimes even very rude look. It's really starting to sway me from coming back anymore. I been there during other times of the day, staffs were way better than this. I believe we deserves better customer service in one of the best coffee shop in the city.

4 stars only because there is absolutely no vegan dessert/food option. There is almond and coconut milk for your coffee so that's pretty good. Other than that, the place is beautiful, clean and inviting. Very warm and well decorated. You want to spend time there because you feel so comfortable. The staff is polite and friendly. Anyone wanting crepes, cakes, pasteries, or macarons this is your place! It's a nice cafe with the scenery of France and the delicious smell of their baking. They always have fresh fruits and pastries. I had their desert crepes, they are very fulfilling. One thing I didn't enjoy is their Italian soda. They put little flavoring and don't shake it up well. the owner (I'm assuming she's one of the owners) is the worst part about this place. We used to go quite frequently, but we've stopped going because of her. Their macarons are back in top of my list as the best in Regina! An amazing selection of desserts and snacks, savoury crepes if you go for lunch. Good coffee. Definitely a must go at least once, I bet there is something for most people. The decor is beautiful with cozy or bar or tables. A bit out of the way with limited walking/transit access. Prices are just above midrange but these desserts are high quality. Recommend: the macarons (obviously), the fruit tarts, the lemon tarts, their single serve cakes... Everything if you have a sweet tooth.

If I lived in Regina, I’d be 800lbs and sugar high happy because of this place. I had the best chai tea and honey latte I’ve ever had, and the Prince Noire mousse cake was to die for. I also tried a pumpkin macaroon, and a peanut butter cookie. It’s pretty hard to beat the quality and craftsmanship you can see in the sweet treats here. I will crave this for years to come!

At 8:00pm we went to Le Macaron and this was the 5th time visiting here. I ordered Mille Feuille and my husband took Individual Torte. I asked lady are the cakes fresh she said yes, we bake them every morning (it was 8pm and they had 2 hours to be closed). I can tell you they’re not fresh at all. The quality of cakes is not steady sometimes they are fresh but sometimes they are not /dry, layers are collapsing/. It’s a long way from downtown that we come just for the “better” pastry experience but it’s disappointing that there is a 50/50 chance that you can get an old piece the flavours and texture of which have changed.

An extra fancy cafe with finely crafted cakes, crepes and a large variety of hot and cold drinks. Can get busy around meal times, but there is never a shortage of places to sit. Relaxing music and an esthetic environment add to the overall classy and calming atmosphere. Staff are efficient and friendly dispite the busy lunch times, and create fresh food and beverages with hardly a wait time. An excellent spot for professional meetings in thier back room, and for visits with friends and family.

Hovering nearby, clearing plates the instant the last mouthful was eaten, unfriendly glances... Don't expect to have a relaxing experience- find somewhere else if you want to sit and chat.

Delicious food and atmosphere, but for some reason, every single time I've gone, the people taking orders are not approachable at all and seem miserable. No smile and I can barely hear them when they speak. It's really starting to sway me from coming back anymore, especially by myself. Please be aware of your presence and how you make your customers feels. We don't need to feel like a million bucks but we need to feel like human beings. We are investing in YOUR local business.

Would not reccomend for a wedding. We had the worst customer service. They told us the wedding cake was a two tier cake with piped designs. It was a one tier cake with no designs. They added a ribbon. All the flowers and cake topper were supplied by and paid for by us. They also told us they would give us two extra cupcakes so we would have the 50 cupcakes we needed. Since 4 dozen would have only been 48. Only 48 were delivered. The wedding was on Aug 24th. We went back to the shop to speak to someone about the issues a few days after the wedding. A manager was not in so we were told someone would call us back. Still have not received a phone call. Terrible service and very rude. Would not reccomend for important events!

I just went for crepes this morning and I'm extremely disappointed. The crepes were pre-made and thrown on the crepe griddle whenever there was an order. I don't think its to much to ask to have a fresh crepe made in front of me. Bacon was cooking on the same griddle the crepes were warmed up on. As a vegetarian I was disgusted to see that it was not washed off before the crepes were put on. When I requested the chef clean it I was glared at. Can someone say cross contamination? I ordered a glass of water to go with my breakfast. Guess who never received water? I asked the barista a second time and despite confirming she would get me some she walked away and started doing other things. Overall I am disappointed with the service I received and the crepes were not good enough to make up for this poor experience. The macarons were neon, coloured with artificial dyes. I can only imagine what sort of junk they use in their crepes. Tread with caution.

I usually love this place for their desserts and coffees; however, this time, I ordered a red velvet cake for the birthday celebration and it was just horrible to taste. I didn't feel any cream-cheese, but rather cream was like a butter consistency and taste. It wasn't soft at all. The cake layers were also dry, as if they were baked a long time ago. Visually, however, it was a beautiful cake. Sad because no one ate it and for a 6" cake I spent almost $50! Will not order anything else from them again.

Their coffee is perfect, and their macaroons are the perfect combination of soft and creamy - and the flavours are subtle but tasty. The atmosphere is lovely, and I really enjoy the music they play. Like the place the first time, but the last two times I got go a torte to go and they were stale. Today when I went and picked up a slice of the lemon matcha tort and when I got home I took a bite and had a weird old taste. I took it apart it was discolored and I got my partner to taste it and he said it was rotten. So after my third time I learnt my lesson. Shame because the first time I went it was so good.

We enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The service was excellent even though we came at a very busy time. Some of the menu items the 6 of us enjoyed were crepes (both strawberry and a savory one), a fresh fruit tart, a chocolate mousse torte, a large pink macaron, and a variety of specialty hot beverages. If ever you are travelling through Regina, we recommend stopping in at Le Macaron! We did and we will again if ever in the area.

I moved away from Regina and recently came back for the first time in two years. So I stopped in to Le Macaron last night and saw that nothing has changed all that much. Huge, delicious macarons, beautiful cakes, and cozy decor. With that said, the less than satisfactory service hasn’t changed either. The space is plastered with signs, “NO COMPUTERS”, “THIS TABLE IS FOR 5-6 GUESTS ONLY”, and “THIS TABLE IS FOR RESERVATIONS ONLY”, “THIS SECTION IS CLOSED” ... honestly it is the most offputting thing ever and makes customers feel like management just wants you to give them your money and get out. We stayed until closing time when the staff knocked on a glass door next to us and said “We’re closed.” and walked away .. no hi, no excuse me, no “just wanted to let you know.”, it was only slightly more polite than a GTFO. I honestly felt embarrassed in front of the other party we invited with us... If you just want desserts and don’t mind being treated with minimal respect, go here. If you actually want some form of service along with your $6 torte, head over to Vic Avenue where there’s another cake shop that actually appreciates your presence in their cafe.

Had very brutal experience yesterday at this place. We arrived at 5:10 pm there and could not go to second sun room area, it was already locked. We were told they are closing at 6 pm - this is why No access any more. We picked the last available table beside the window. 5:20pm I noticed very loud environment around us. Employees talking loud to each other, sound of dishes, after moving tables and chairs. I noticed that almost all customers left within 20 minutes. Workers were swiping the floor, cleaning place, moving furniture. I could not concentrate on my conversation anymore. I was just trying to hide my coffee and water from dust in the air. It was very noticeable as sun was very low and sun-rays were showing off all dust in the air. Next thing I see employee's back beside me trying to get garbage out and putting new garbage bag. The next employee moving out chairs and table behind me and starting swiping the area beside me. There were family coming in at 6:40pm and the person who was swiping the floor would not even allow them to enter the place. 5:55pm we were told that we have to leave that they are closing their place. WOW.

Customer service was the worst I've ever had. Not sure if they just don't like non-locals, they were tired or thought we looked/were too posh for their establishment! Decor was nice. But after speaking clearly in a moderate tone for the 6th time (I did consider the mask barrier - and made sure my voice was projected enough) we finally got our crêpes... the worst I've tasted. It was rubbery, dry and after requesting syrup (another agonising interaction) we were given a small sachet sized amount in a small sauce container, not even enough for a single McDonald's pancake - a highway family dinner would give a pourable jar! The hot chocolate tasted like water and traces of peanuts (the young guests I brought along couldn't drink it... And one was a 7yr old - which 7yr old declines hot chocolate!). However the kicker was asking for a glass of "tap" water (I refused to give them anymore of our money) to attempt in washing down the vile taste... Wait for it... It was given in a slightly bigger shot glass. The most wasteful $51 (inc. an unfortunate 15% tip) ever spent ????

Coffee is well brewed and nice hot. The tables are set up for social distance. The surrounding and atmosphere is tasteful and relaxing, especially if you have tables near the fireplace. Had a breakfast,with a friend there. Each of us had their home brand creape. The portion is sufficient for us that we had to pack the left over. Like the place and often bring my friend over.

Wow...just wow! Delish...great atmosphere...but I wish they could line up their store more efficiently for ordering and paying. One disappointment...when I was last there the customer ahead of us found a $20 bill on counter obviously from person before her. She told cashier and handed the folded up bill to her...cashier made feeble to no attempt to find previous customer and kept the money for herself or till. Felt that was pretty shoddy. There was pretty much only inside customers so quite sure they would be there.

Our favorite place in the East end for a tea latte. Comfy big chairs by a fire....with a warm beverage and a sweet treat?? Now that's cozy! The desserts are stunningly created by hand and taste as goid as they look. Service could be a bit friendlier and they could stand to look like they are happy...but it's only a small improvement needed. Bathrooms are always neat & tidy & they are very generous to offer a nice scented lotion & body mist for their female visitors.

I went there today to work on a paper. I paid for a large cappuccino (cold and mostly foam) and a dessert that was actually really good. Anyways, because I'm a "student" the manager immediately came out to talk to me (After I paid my bill OF COURSE) and told me not to sit around too long. Apparently students come in "all the tim"e and take up seating for hours at a time. If i hadn't already paid I would have walked right out. I was sitting in the second room and there was literally NO ONE ELSE THERE. Plus I've worked at coffee shops before and I respect the unspoken "do not over stay your welcome" Rule. How presumptuous can you be ?!?! If I am overstaying my welcome by all means come talk to me but when I've JUST ordered and I'm sitting in an empty room, leave me alone! I'm a paying customer! very rude and unfriendly. The manager didn't even try to be polite, I was so uncomfortable and felt extremely judged.

I am very happy for this addition to Regina's cafe and restaurant scene. The selection of pastries is very impressive. I will have to return soon to sample all of the fine cakes, cookies and tortes. The interior is very tasteful and inviting with an extra room off to the side where you can enjoy the beautiful view of the adjacent lake. The proprietor is an expert pastry chef in the famous European and Moroccan style. This place is well worth a visit and I am sure you will want to return once you have tried it. The location is close to the east Regina bicycle path. You can make this a stop on a leisurely cycling tour through East Regina.

My wife and I came to visit from Calgary, and found this place on google. We got half dozen macarons, iced latte, lemonade and french eclair. Then the lady screwed up on orders, and forgot about french eclair. When we asked them about it and the lady literally gave me an attitude saying that I did not specify which caramel macaron it was, and did not even apologize for forgetting french ecklair. Place seems nice but customer service is very poor. I do regret giving them 20% tip (there is an option in the debit machine) and tip was done before we got the drinks / macarons

It is my daughter's birthday, I bought an chocolate butter cream cake for her, the cake was very disappointing, the cream and the cake was very soggy and watery, if I push on the cake with a fork, there is actually water leak out of the cake. All the kids only had one bite their cake and left.

I come infrequently to the shop. The desserts are always top notch, but the macarons themselves are not nearly as good as they were three years ago. The reason for the low rating is the crepes. They are inconsistent at best, likely because they premake the crepes and heat them to serve instead of making them fresh. The result is that the crepes are usually tough or overdone - you shouldn't *need* a knife to cut through the pastry. The strawberry compote often tastes old or like the alcohol in it was not fully cooked out. They've run out of whipped cream a couple times as well, which is unacceptable when that's a part of the dish. There are several grocery stores within a stone's throw - go pick up some extra cartons! The time to serve is appalling as well. I cannot come here for a crepe on my lunch break because they have never once gotten me a crepe quickly enough - even if they use their premade crepes. Overall it is worth going for the fancy desserts, but don't make a special trip for their crepes.
