I’ve been to the store just a few times over the past few years. First time in Lacombe was excellent. Second visit in Red Deer was ok, same with the third. I purchased an assortment of four cannolis, and just finished one. I think the filling was quite bland and could have used some more flavour. The outside could have done with a bit longer baking and a few more sugar sprinkles. Due to the relative high price and uniqueness this was a special treat, but I’m afraid we will be looking elsewhere for something similar. All the best.

Picked up some cannolis to bring to a friends place, there were a variety of flavours to choose from, but the staff working there was super helpful with their recommendations. The salted caramel was defined the number 1 best of the ones we picked out, most surprising was the blueberry cheesecake, which was delicious. A little on the pricey side, but worth it, they were yum.

Spectacular. Great coffee shop with such a neat atmosphere. But the best part is the cannolies. They are by far the best bakery goods I've ever had. Pistachio, vanilla, toasted coconut, caramel and more.

Ordered the Italian sandwich and a couple cannolis on skip. Easily the best sandwich in town. Lots of meat, gooey cheese and flavourful peppers in a great roll. Cannolis were big and delicious. They ended up being out of one of the flavours but called and we swapped it out and then they gave us an extra one (although the third one might cause a fight since the two we already ate were so good haha). Will definitely be back for more.

Pretty excited to see Sweet Capones in Red Deer. The location in Lacombe is just as fabulous. Really like the variety of cannoli flavors, I stopped in on the weekend and tried the salted caramel, and pumpkin spice. Both were excellent but the salted Carmel has to be my new favorite! If your thinking of trying this place out for a coffee or dessert, DO IT!! You wont regret it!

This place has my heart now although it’s hours away from Calgary. I’m a dessert person. The cannolis from here were recommended by a colleague at my work place. Tried their salted caramel flavour and vanilla flavour cannolis. The salted caramel cannoli was the star. It was so good. I enjoyed every bit of it. Highly recommended to go and try this place.

Sweet Capones is straight up my favorite place to go for a treat. Their cannoli are SO good. My favourites are the coconut and pistachio flavours. I also highly recommend their tortas, especially if you have a hankering for cake! The service is really friendly and their decor is always so cool. I'm so happy they've opened a location in Red Deer so that I can get delicious cannoli more often!

Do NOT get the cupcakes. Got one and it was gross and I used to love cupcakes so I think I can safely say I know what I'm talking about. Was cold, which is understandable as it was in the cooler, but it was also dry. Only thing going for it was the icing, but that was too much as well. The person I was with had a vanilla iced latte which was apparently really good. I felt very uncomfortable with the staff. From the time we walked in to almost going out they stared at us. The one staff member (I'm assuming) I finally made eye contact with and they immediately looked down at their phone (could've been on break or was a friend of the staff). The staff member behind the display had her arms crossed on top and stared at us the whole time although it was clear that we would be awhile deciding. The person I was with said that we would be awhile and the staff member finally picked up a cloth and walked a little ways away. I can't remember much about the staff member on till. The cannolis taste the same as the Lacombe location, so same quality as always.

The cannolis are AMAZING!! I treat myself to one every few months just cuz they are so rich and delicious! I consider their baked goods a bit on the pricey side but it is totally well worth it. I suggest indulging and taking your time on consuming the goods! This location is smaller than the other location!! Darker inside as well but really unique design. Worth checking out!

To begin, thus establishment has some of the tastiest baked treats I've ever had the pleasure of enjoying. Their pastry is fluffee and delicious. This establishment also boasts some truly delicious paninnis. The prices are a bit higher than I'd like, but for this kind of quality, I'm hooked. The atmosphere is great, somewhat rustic, and the staff are very nice and helpful.

The cannolis were sublime. Stumbled upon this spot while passing through Red Deer. Couldn't have anticipated the treat we were about to enjoy. They have several flavours, all made fresh. We had the pistachio, salted caramel, cookies & cream, and the toasted coconut. All were amazing. I rarely ever get to Red Deer, but Sweet Capone's will have me rethinking my travel routes to enable a return visit in the near future. Highly recommend!!

So far I've tried the chocolate and coconut cannoli and the coconut one tastes like Raffaello, so good! The price might be over average but I'm willing to spend a little more on great coffee.

We make a trip to Sweet Capone's every month. The atmosphere is warm & welcoming. We have tried many cannolis over the years but the best ones are definitely from this wonderful shop! We cannot have enough of the toasted coconut cannoli, pistachio and ofcourse double chocolate. The staff is also very friendly and welcoming!

I pointed out an error on the menu to the owner showing her that her prices were higher per cannoli when purchasing mor than one at a time as a 4 pack or a six pack and after doing so, she told me the she was offended. I turned around to leave because of how angry and defensive she was and as I was walking through the door she yelled “AND DON’T EVER COME BACK!”. Not to worry there narcissistic pastry maker, you couldn’t pay me to enter your establishment. In response to your reply filled with lies. First off, I would like to make it very clear that I have never disrespected your staff member in the past and concerning this particular incident your staff wasn’t even involved. Unless you consider yourself as staff. In fact the last time I was there I had quite a delightful conversation with her as every time prior. I merely offered you some friendly consumer advice and you began accusing me of being offended at your prices. If I found your prices offensive I would not have been a repeat customer. As I pointed out in our conversation my suggestions were merely friendly advice based on my years of experience in retail management and customer service experience. How you handled the friendly conversation I offered you was appalling to say the least. If you treated my customers the way you treated me as your customer you would have been promptly dismissed from your job and an apology would have been extended to the customer. Instead you reply with lies claiming that you asked me to leave when in fact I left on my own volition only to hear you yell a “DON’T EVER COME BACK” as I was already out the door. You were accusational, rude, disrespectful and insulting. I feel sorry for anyone who works for you. If that wasn’t enough you lie about my pleasant interaction with your staff. You’re behaviour is despicable to say the least. You turned a pleasant and complimenting paying customer into a huge source of bad publicity for the image of your establishment. I’m seriously not interested in the least in calling you as long as your attitude continues a path of self justification. Someone seriously needs to provide you with training on how to treat your customers as they are the backbone of your establishment. The only way I would agree to speak with you is if i saw a drastic change in attitude on your part. I’m typically a good natured man and I prefer peace above all but I refuse to allow my good intentions to be a vehicle for someone else’s disrespect. Peace.

Service was good and polite, however they are overpriced for what they served. The 'Panini' is just a $12.50 sandwich on a regular bun and slightly warmed. They did a keto coffee ☕ which typically is butter, coconut oil and blended well into the coffee. It was not blended at all so there was a thick layer of oils on the top of the coffee. If you offer something specialty everyone should be trained in preparation.

I was really excited for authentic cannolli, but the filling left a lot to be desired, every flavor tasted like pudding mixed with whipped cream rather then delicious homemade italian cream. Coffee and quality of pastry was excellent, it was just the cream, which was a huge bummer.
