They wouldn't offer a price that the store had price tagged incorrectly. Not that they have too but knowing the difference between customer service and customer experience is lost with IGA. The attitude I received as well ... the older lady cashier accused me of moving product when I told her that all of the products were labelled like that. Honestly, I wouldn't have done that just to get a price that is $2 cheaper...totally absurd.

Awful customer service. We went in for some cheese, they had a sale on buy two get one free. The shelf said $5.59 each but on the sale tag it said $6.29 each. Practice says we should get the $5.59 but we go talk to the cashier, he gets another cashier who was rude to us then turned around and said to the supervisor "I don't want to deal with this, you're the supervisor, you deal with it" then the supervisor actually rolled her eyes came over and we go to where the item was from. She says the reason why it says $6.29 instead of $5.59 is because the price goes up to compensate for the buy two get one free. Which is scummy to tell a customer that. I personally recommend to avoid this store unless absolutely necessary. 0/10.

I love going to the Eastview IGA. It's smaller than any other grocery store in red Deer with a very close selection of any other store. They follow similar sales and products to what sobeys advertises but sometimes extra sales too. The staff there are friendly *almost all from newfiundland* and helpful if you need anything.

Great little grocery store that has been serving the local area for decades. Reasonable prices, open til 10pm most evenings, friendly staff. As part of a small outlet style mall with a pharmacy, banking, pub, gas station, and more it's usually a quick stop to get the things you need.

The stuff here are expensive and they often got the stuff wrong priced. Check your bill carefully every time! When you told them the price is wrong, they just refund you the difference, and without saying sorry at all. Other store will refund you all the money, and give you the stuff for free for your compensation.

Their sale prices dont always scan through properlydo double check. The Goods: the ham is to die for. The chicken pot pies - yum. Great bakery too. Sharon is really nice. The rest of the staff are meh at best. don't ask for smokes, they're mad. the bigguns are just rude. and the bag situation is abysmal 10 cents for a paper bag that breaks immediately, then plastics just gone. I know I should bring my bring but if I don't I shouldn't have to suffer.

Worst experience ever!!! I went in late not realizing the time and they were closing soon instead of them saying “hey sorry we are closing soon” I got the comment of “YOU HAVE ONE MINUTE!” When I walked through the door. Because I have celiac disease I can’t pick a food item quickly I have to be sure that I read the ingredients. By the time I found what I was looking for and was able to read the ingredients of the food product. They were ready to shove me out the door. Very poor customer service. I will not be returning to this store.

Easy in and out dated but handy store. Really dislike that they are another virtue signaling corporation that prefers to go back to cutting down trees to provide bags. Or recommend reusable bags, that we also moved away from in the past, to reduce food born illness. Do they believe that we are incapable of recycling plastic bags? by restricting usage will we somehow stop the developing world from throwing plastic in the oceans?

Awesome little store with the best staff!! I live just down the street from here and stop by often on my way home, hardly ever a bad experience. Edit: One year later and I've been shopping here regularly, unfortunately I came back with the decision to remove a star. This place is a handy location for quick in-and-out stops, nice staff, but I'm finding stocking issues with certain products, always the same products. When I come in one to three times a week and the same product I want/need, a regular everyday grocery staple, is still out of stock and empty, after weeks and weeks, I admit I get a little annoyed and end up making my stops elsewhere to get everything I need all at once. Why stop here when I already know I'll need to make a second trip somewhere else to get everything required?
