Love love LOVE this place. I come here as often as humanly possible, including almost every Monday when they are closed which is sad when I must drive away lol. I'm a creature of habit and love me a good matcha latte with their ginormous chocolate chip cookies. Coming here is a complete treasure. Love love LOVE.

Likely the only manual espresso bar Northern BC, The Makerie offers a well made shot at a fair price. The interior is modern and the crafting dynamic adds a unique touch to an under served market in the north. Well worth a stop if you’re in town.

I love exploring new cafes so i thought this is just a regular cafe but i was surprised to find a full fledge art and craft studio with wifi service. There are different classes on the different days of the week which can be joined in studio by paying a fee. Paint class, craft class , pottery or any such activity needs to have an ambiance and this place is perfect match to it. You can even borrow from their stock of art supplies. Art lovers should flock this place and even if you are not an artist, just drop by to try your hand. Hard typing on type writer was fun for a while and then my fingers started hurting. ???? Its not easy to type with those old typewriters but it was a fun experience. My favourite part was making my own letter head with stencils and stamps . So personalized… I even bought the wood roasted coffee-beans. Omg, its so so so good. If you are a bbq person or someone who love woody flavour n fragrance then you will be drooling over it. Hot chocolate is great. Enjoy a cup of coffee /tea and use your computer or chat with friends or maybe enjoy your time. I would say visit it once and you will come back again. Hats off to the owner for taking this initiative and creating such a wonderful space . Good business with mindfulness and social cause. Everything in life is not only about money.

Great place to take friends and family for an evening of relaxing crafts. Whenever I want to treat my daughter, I take her here. The variety of crafts always makes me look forward to the next time I come. Lots of space between customers. Love this place.

Fantastic place to study, make something, or just chillax and have a drink. Although it is a coffee place primarily I don't drink coffee and was more then satisfied with their tea options. Heads up a lot of their drinks are quite sweet, but the staff is so good there I am sure they can decrease it if need be. Great shop of everyone of all ages.

When I read the name, I thought it meant Makeries Craft (as in beer) & Coffee Bar (as in pub). I was pleasantly surprised to learn that you can craft things here while you have a coffee. This place is so much fun. I recommend it to anyone that wants to pass some time while crafting something.

They really put a lot of care and detail into the atmosphere here. Everything is perfect. There's low/zero sugar options, alternative milk options, gluten free bakery items, etc. This is the first time I had a marochinno and the next day I brought my husband here just so he could try one too. Delicious drinks and great atmosphere.

The Makerie is the bee's knees! It's my wife's favorite place in the city, and I'm very fond of it also. The owner is such a sweet and wonderful person, and all of the treats and drinks that I've tried have been soooo freaking good. I took my wife there today on a quick lunch date, because we somehow found ourselves without the kids for an hour, and we both had some delicious tea latté's , as well as a coconut cupcake. Their newly built patios are great for enjoying their treats in the sunshine, and if you have never been there, it's 100% worth the trip. PLUS! The name isn't just for show. They have a huge indoor space set up for making arts and crafts of all different sorts and varieties and teach you how to make them also. If you can, go stop by and support them! ????

I had a couple hours to kill the other day and decided to check the Makerie out for the first time! It was so cute inside, and all of the "Craftenders" were so friendly and helpful! The "Christmacano" was delicious, and I had fun painting a flowerpot! Will definitely start visiting regularly for coffee and the occasional craft ❤️

I literally count the days till I am able to come back to the makerie. They are always doing fun events. Even they’re “anytime” crafts are so much fun. If I’ve had a rough week at work I can count on the makerie to make me feel better! They’re snacks/pastries are always delicious as are the drinks. I’ve made some great friends with the staff that I will cherish. I couldn’t recommend it more :)

Cute cafe. Very slow service. It wasn’t busy and there was only one person in front of me that got a coffee. Took me 20 mins to get my two drinks. The drinks were not worth the wait. The apple cider wasn’t even very warm

Wow I am shocked by the good reviews. We had such a bad experience at this place. Staff were cold and rude, our drinks were bad (my matcha tea drink didn't even taste like matcha), and the cookie we bought was dry and slightly stale. Would not recommend at all. Many better options in PG.

Atmosphere is ok, but everything seems scattered. Service ok. Coffee 5$ for a tiny cup? Far too over priced! If you want a gourmet coffee, stick to Starbucks or Second Cup.

Staff was so friendly and helpful when I was deciding on what drink to order. They recommended a “Jamaican sunrise” and I loved it! Also loved the tabletop s’mores. Will be back to craft one day!

Great coffee and staff, except if you are studying here they charge you $5/hour after your first hour of being there. Would not recommend to students, or anyone trying to get some work done as there are tonnes of other cafes that let you study for free in Prince George.

The Makerie hands down has the best staff. They are always so bright and bubbly and will answer any questions you have about the crafts, drinks, or treats!! The only thing better than their service would have to be their coffee, I find myself addicted and have to stop in whenever I get the chance! The Makerie is a must if you are looking for either an AMAZING drink/treat or to bring out your inner maker. I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars!!
