very busy for dinner so go as early as you can. we got there around 5 . 5:30 the place was busy. but the managers seem to make sure there is enough staff. 5 at our table and all enjoyed their meal.

Sheila was our waitress. We came in an hour before close, for a special family dinner in a new town. We ordered one plate to share and an appetizer and she scoffed at us. She brought our appetizer and salad and threw it on the table like we were whining dogs. She never came back until our meal was done, I had to ask someone else for a refill on our kids drink, and a knife to cut my food. When we got the bill she let me know she was upset because normally her day was done at 10pm (closing) and it was 10:16pm. To be quite honest nothing is more disgusting than having a waitress ruin our night out because we inconvienced her by 16 minutes and to have her tell me that. I would have fired her on the spot if she was my employee. Mr. Mike's two nights before had equally as good of food and our waitress was funny, friendly and I tipped her 30%. I expect better from a locally run Greek restaurant.

Our overall experience here was alright at best. Waited at the front to be seated only to have 4 people step in front of us and be served first. Our table had food underneath, nobody likes to see that or step on it. Waitress was friendly but overwhelmed. Ordered two small appetizers, and two medium pizzas, which tasted fine but definitely not worth over the 80$ spent. Better off going to Mr. Mikes or just getting takeout.

Venice House is a great option for lunch, dinner, dates, and gatherings in Prince Albert, Sask. Food, drinks, and service at this restaurant is reliable consistent while also being provided at a reasonable price. I grew up in PA and have been to this Venice House dozens of times. Realistically, this restaurant is a classic and accommodates the “local” dining interest for those of all ages. In comparison to big city and modern trends this venue does not follow suit but if your looking for a cozy hometown dine while in PA this is a safe option. Take out is also available.

This place hasn't been redecorated since the mid eighties....and that is a good thing! It has a unique charm, and private booths with with tonnes of character and great food. No such thing as a refill on pop, but otherwise fantastic.

Very disappointed. Looking forward to a nicce evening out because it has been a very long time. Not like I remember how the food used to be. They do not have the variety they used to and the salad now comes on the plate. Chicken Ala Greque was over cooked and really tough.

There April 8th, 2021. Cold rack of ribs, soggy salad, cold potato. Had lukewarm tea with honey. Honey wouldn't even pour out, It was like candy. Upon leaving, there was a beat up junkie laying inside the front entrance,,,no mask,,,begging for leftovers. What the hell??? That place has gone to the dogs.

First time ordering here. I ordered dry ribs with ceaser salad and Speghetti as a side for pick up last night. Omg it was so good the ceaser was nice and garlicky the dill dip was the best I have tasted so far and the Speghetti was yummy for a plan one as i always order baked. I know what i will be ordering from here from now on. Your Greek ribs have been recommended and that will be my next order.

Ordered chicken cordon Bleu and ceaser salad with extra dressing my garlic toast was so over done I couldn't eat it the chicken was very dry there was no cheese and it did not have mushroom sauce had a weird sauce with peas carrots and corn. Also did not get my extra dressing I paid for so dissapointing.

This place is a dumb. Do not take your family here, they will treat you like dirt and serve your family food that tastes like old grease. Disgusting. Dirty place.

I used to love my dining experience at the Venice House on Central in Prince Albert; my last 3 visits to this location did not go well. The service was very slow, waited nearly 15 minutes each time for service or to be even served water. Ive watched tables up and walk out because they haven't been served... when telling the wait staff bout their service they even argue back...so it will most likely stop me from coming back and this was one of my favorite places to eat in Prince Albert.

My family has loved eating at/or ordering out of Venice House. My personal favorite to recommend to anyone is their Lasagna with meat sauce. Also the stuffed mushrooms are amazing! I always get Lasagna at every restaurant I go to. None compare to this particular Venice House's lasagna!

The servers were very disrespectful towards me and my husband and our grandkids. This establishment is dirty, unkempt, the workers smell bad. They have no concept of person space. The harassed our family at the table and when the food was served we could hardly eat. The food is inedible. I don't know what happened to thi bplace. I used to think it was worth the drive but I can see now that they have fallen far from what a good restaurant is supposed to be. My family won't be spending our money at this disgrace any longer.

I loved the food - usually. It is not the same. We ordered today and ordered soup, Veal Cordon Bleu, Extra sauce on the Veal, and gravy. The soup was a little (lot) weak. Was supposed to be Lemon Chicken and was Chicken Broth. 1 small piece of chicken and 5 rice kernals. Extra sauce on the Veal was non-existent and the sauce that should have been on it wasn't there either. So disappointed. Won't be back.

The service sucked. I ordered a lasagna and salad and it took an hour and 45 minutes to be delivered to the hotel i was staying at a block away. They charged me 10 dollars more to order over the phone then going through the online system. Wont be ordering from there again

Oderers BEWARE! I ordered a medium pizza with stuffed mushrooms appetizer. Not only did it take 1-1/2 hours to arrive, the $13 appetizer came w/o the garlic toast and lemon wedges, was tasteless and they used small button mushrooms. The pizza (Venice House Special) came with one slice of meat. If that's their VH Special .........don't waste your $

I've long held Venice House as my favourite childhood pizza stop. It had been 17 years since I had last visited.. it's not quite the same. The pizza was ok, not great, and the toppings were completely sliding off the pizzas. The vegetarian options were slim pickings. As well, no dairy-free/plant-based/vegan pizza option is surprising in this day and age. I understand that's not who they cater to, it's just unfortunate to see a missed opportunity.

Visiting Prince Albert for work. Dropped in to try this place, the reviews said it would be very good and the restaurant itself looked nice. I ordered the hamburger steak (special) with mashed potatoes. I could tell right away the burger was a frozen patty meant for actual hamburgers, not the ground beef patty you’d expect. Didn’t taste too great but I managed to finish it. The coleslaw was absolutely soggy in mayonnaise/sauce. I could only handle 1 bite. The mashed potatoes and gravy were ok. Don’t post reviews too often but I was definitely expecting more here. Girlfriend ordered the teriyaki chicken. Cesar salad was also very soggy, the chicken was ok but small. Service was good.

Venice house was one of our favorite restaurants. Ordered two meals for pick up today. After 25 minutes, we arrived to pick it up. We were told us they called us back and left a message. No message on my phone. No call either. Because they "couldn't reach us" the order was not filled. Waited again. 55 minutes. Then because of a misunderstanding over the bill, a difference of $6 they had to call the owner! He was arrogant and rude. Finally, we left without our meal. The working staff are great. The owner showed deplorable customer service. Very disappointing.

Service non existent and almost nine dollars for 1 adult pop 1 child pop and 1 coffee no refills although you are suppose to get refills i asked but didn't get any so ate most of the pizza while dying of thirst finally had to leave tracked down a different waitress to get a to go container and when confirming about the drinks was only offered I'm sorry no tip deserved here at least they could have given a discount on the drinks not a pleasant experience got the excuse that their regulars love it I'm sure they do because they get service but if you want more patrons I suggest treating everyone as if they were your regulars

Ate here during Covid in Jan 2021. There had been a few bad reviews on here and Google, mostly by single reviewers who were people complaining about the way they were treated. I come for the food. I’m a top reviewer on Trip Advisor and a google local guide, grew up in P.A. eating here for two decades but live in Saskatoon now. The food is just as it was in the 70s-90s. The interior is still the same, the menus a bit smaller, prices haven’t changed much but portions are still good. Seemed a bit dated inside, but was clean enough to pass my standards. Our service was reasonable but the food wasn’t quite as hot as I usually like, but it was still very good. Bottom line, I’d eat here over Mr Mikes or Boston Pizza any day hands down.

An easy recommendation for out of towners to get a look at a P-dot landmark ,Venice House has been there since I can remember. The menu is pretty much how its always been and that's a good thing. Just good old fashioned food at fair prices. Service is pretty good and the atmosphere is one of a kind. FYI, best french onion soup in town.

Are you kidding me? Decor like it was 1970. Portions of cheap ass food that you can do better at when you buy boxed from the store (Pinty's frozen chicken strips... a box for what these people charge for a meal) flat pop, and the feeling you just wasted 15 bucks for a lunch. Save your money, do something else.
