Prices are higher everytime I come here. No specials...just "Features"...which are really just regular menu items on another menu . You're the most expensive place in town to eat what is, in fact, an amateur attempt mediocre steak. (Pouring butter and garlic on top of a piece of meat is not adding any value) Attitude from my server was arrogant and pretentious. A consistently empty parking lot says more than any Google review. Raising prices to cover your lack of patronage is not a successful business model, you won't last much longer in this town. *** UPDATE*** New manager has made a world of difference. Now I recommend your restaurant all the time! Keep up the good work!

The food here is reasonably good, but not exceptional. It is very difficult to find a great steak in Prince Albert, and this is no exception. Their burgers are a decent size, but a little on the "juicy" side. If it is your birthday, they will give you a free desert, and it is well worth going just for that. If you sign up for their app, you can get a free entree on your birthday, which is as good as a 40 dollar value. What business gives you that kind of perk? Fantastic service, and good food.

The burger I got came out absolutely soaked in grease. To the point where it was dripping off the burger. A small child could have enjoyed a pool day on my plate. The manager then came out and told us that this is how all of their burgers are prepared. Yuck.

Boyfriend and I went on a Friday night for a date.. we sat on the lounge side & the service was excellent!.. Charlie was our waitress & she really made sure we were taken care of. I have an allergy to onions and the food staff made sure my food was delicious and safe to eat. The FOH manager was friendly and helpful. I overall would recommend this to my friends and family because it's great food, great atmosphere and amazing prices. Thanks again for the great night out! ????

Love the food. We visit at least once a week and have to say that the last 3 visits were terrible. Tonite we were the first few people to be seated but were the last to be served. We ordered the soup first and our meal. The meal and soup all came at once and it was at best cool, i mean to the touch, I told them to take it back and give me the bill, I was done. We waited 1 hour and a half to get everything given at once and then was told I would not be charged for my meal, excuse me, I didn't even try it, I waited for my soup and it came with my meal. I will not be going there again and will not recommend it to friends. Mr. Mikes has lost my patronage...

Had the gaucho ribeye steak. What a complete disappointment. The chimichuri sauce was great and the steak was cooked properly (-medium rare) but the steak was doused in a steak spice sauce that resembled a BBQ sauce. OMG what a disgrace, such a beautiful peace of meat destroyed by over sauce. The menu says steak seasoning but they completely ruin the steak with their sauce seasoning. Do not get this steak. My wife had the garlic sirloin with shrimp and it was fantastic. I couldn’t eat all of my steak because of the overpowering sauce. Please, use salt and pepper the steak and let the chimichuri sauce do the rest. UPDATE JAN 4 - The manager contacted me and asked if I would give them another try. Of course, all of my other meals at the Prince Albert Mr. Mike's have been great. I'm not the type to make a stink looking for a free meal but in this case I do feel more than a little disappointed and my whole evening, including the hour drive from Candle Lake just to eat here that evening with my wife, to have been very disappointing. So I will take them up on the kind offer. Because I am back in Calgary it will have to wait till spring summer when I am back at Candle Lake. Looking forward to it. Again, if you have read down this far, please don't ruin such a wonderful piece of ribeye steak by swamping it in a steak sauce seasoning that is strong with smoked chili flavouring, the steak gets completely lost and you might as well eat a spoon of steak sauce. I hope the head cook for the franchise reads this.....

The service was terrible. Went for steaks and they were not serving steaks. On a Saturday evening!! Wasn't even informed until well after appetizers were ordered. We were the only two people on restaurant side and yet service was practically non existant! Didn't get a discount for the inconvenience and lack of information about the no steaks. Half the menu not available with no steaks. Won't bother going back. Worst service in PA, been consistently bad every time I've gone. Waitresses stand at the back looking at the restaurant not serving or chatting. Waste of my time and money and should have just walked out.

We have gone here once a week for the past year or so. The past 3 times the service has been horrendous. Waitresses standing at front staring at computer the whole time. Today we were the first group in, first waited on and last to get our food - well some of it. (I don't want to hear that your computer was down. You can get soup without a computer) Starter soup came with the meal and it was cold. Never did see the waitress after she took our order. Entree's were luke warm at best. This restaurant has gone from be one of the best in our city to one of the worst. I have no idea what has happened but they need to get it together. My advice . . . . try Montana's or Joes until they get this sorted out.

Great experience! Was impressed by the above and beyond service! Was astonished that the Panko shrimp come with two dozen of them! We could hardly finish our starter! The service was lightning quick but had also allowed us to get settled! They have one of the best drink menu’s in town! Not to mention a great lounge and atmosphere! I have always favored the classic Mike burger, but I have tried the lobster dip, steak, quesadilla, and a few other things.The manager is always willing to go the extra mile for the customers. Service wasn't to bad but our meal was horrible for 91 dollars. I had the rib eye and my girlfriend had the top sirloin steaks, my steak was cooked properly but neither the steak nor the mushrooms had any flavour whatsoever and the vegetables looked dry and inedible so I didn't even try them. My girlfriends steak was like a chewy piece of rubber and again neither the steak or the mushrooms had any flavor. If the server would have asked how our meals were i would have told her but she was practically silent and didn't say much and seemed to busy to even stop and check even though the resteraunt was maybe a quarter full with 3 other servers. All in all we definitely won't be back to this location.

Worst place for service and food. There were 3 families in the building and it took the waiter 20 minutes to ask us what we want to drink and then another 20-30 mins to take our order. Waited another 30 minutes for our food to come to us. 1 hour to finally eat. When the food got to us. I got the Mexican fiesta and the sides were terrible. Although the food is delicious, kudos to the cooks. I must say without naming names the service is just atrocious, when I called to place an order for takeout the server had no idea what came with the dish. Didn't know what they had for desserts...I understand it's a relatively new restaurant but come on!!! Also as I was done placing my order, she didn't read it back to me (serving 101) or didn't ask for my name or my number...great location, great food, great clientele. I have to say, if someone asked me about the service, I couldn't even give it a rating of a 50% no effort, just collecting a paycheque. Sorry to be so forward just not impressed at all.

They like to preach 5 star experience when it's a 1 at most lol. Went with my parents, my girlfriend and my son. My first and last visit. Had such good expectations for Mr.Mikes in Prince Albert. Surely for the prices they have you'd expect good food but that wasn't the case lol. Food took long, waited about 35 mins for food. Waitress got my order wrong, ordered a ceasar salad with salmon for my girlfriend and she put it as a side for my burger instead. The 'BBQ Bourbon' burger was super dry. The $15 Panko Shrimp was hilarious. 5-6 small pieces of shrim that you can make at home. $160 for dry burgers and bland pasta ????. We came from Saskatoon and looked for decent food. Don't go here if you expect decent food and decent service. :)

The worst service I have ever experienced. I was up in Prince Albert for a tournament. A team of approximately 15 of us called ahead and told the restaurant we would be coming in and sitting on the bar side. Right away the waitress acted like we were an inconvenience and was very rude. A few of us ordered the drink special that evening. 30 minutes later we didn't receive any of our drinks. We inquired to the bartender and he stated they were out of an ingredient. She never came back to tell us or ask what else we would like. There was also a beer that sat at the bar top for over 15 minutes. One of us went to get the now warm beer and the bartender told her that "this was also for our team" and pushed forward 2 more drinks that were ordered from our table. We ended up going and collecting our own drinks from the bar as well as serving our OWN drinks to each other. A meal was also forgotten about and they did not receive it until everyone else was done eating. At the end of the night all of our bills were mixed up and it took over 20 minutes just to pay. There were only 3 other tables on the bar side with 4 people or less so it was not busy. I will never return to this Mr. Mikes again.
