Excellent visit today! Within moments of entering the store I was offered assistance. The employee quickly walked me to the product I asked for and when it was not what I hoped for she directed me to an alternative which was not only exactly what I was looking for but was also on sale! I am very happy with the quality, the price and the selection! The lady who helped me was so very efficient and helpful.

I enjoy every trip i have made to this store. They have a great selection of arts amd crafts supplies, everything you need for beading and to make your own jewellery. Cake decorating supplies. Home deco to knitting supplies and more. The prices are higher then most places but worth the extra money to me.

Edit: No more 50% off coupons, no point in coming to this overpriced store. Dollarama is an affiliate store, so you can find a lot of Michaels items there for an actually reasonable price. Don't like coming here after some genius decided to create "Everyday Value" items. You can't use your coupon on these items, and the everyday deal is just a few dollars knocked off the original price; the coupon would have been a better deal in the long run. More and more items keep getting added to the coupon restrictions as well. Came here to compare bench scrapers, theirs was 4x price of the one I bought, and mine had a ruler on it. I found the perfect one at Winners for $4.99, not a whopping $19.99 plus tax. Even if I used a 50% off coupon, it'd still be double the price.

This store used to be fun and exciting to shop in, with friendly staff greeting me and able to help. However, that seems to have changed over the last few months and it is very quiet and rather depressing. On my last visit, I actually thought someone was stalking me -- I was looking at seasonal and a man kept walking past and kind of peeking at me from the end of the aisle which was quite unnerving. Turns out he worked there, but didn't ask me if I needed help or anything, or even make himself known other than peeking at me and then retreating when I looked his way. Maybe because I'm an aboriginal person he thought I was stealing something instead of shopping? I noticed his vest as I was walking to the till and he told me to have a good day. Other than the cashier that was at the till when I walked in and the creepy employee peeking at me, I didn't see anyone else in the whole store. Luckily I knew where things were, otherwise I probably would have walked out in frustration at the lack of service and hospitality. I don't think I'll be going back though. I'd rather order my supplies online.

For several years the closest Michaels to me was 90 miles away, so I was thrilled when a store was built literally 5 mins. from our home! I generally visit the store a couple times a month, however if I am mid project, or it is a specific season, Christmas for example, I am sometimes visiting weekly. The staff are friendly and helpful, product is always available when I require it, only drawback can be the prices. (I especially dislike when the US price is still attached to the product, as it is always cheaper than the Canadian price). Thank goodness for sales and the discount coupons!

I can always find a great selection here of paint for my paintings. Extremely expensive and the one thing that drives me nuts is that- every store has a tap function- we are a year and a half into covid and yall still ain't upgraded your machines? I very rarely carry cards on me now due to covid, it's all on my phone now. Besides this? Friendly atmosphere, great staff and such a clean and easy to navigate store

Michael's is one of the first places I go to get inspiration for some of my crafting items. The staff here are very friendly and the store is always clean. The store is laid out well and easy to navigate even if the layout is different from Michaels you normally frequent.
