Despite having to reshape their business during Covid-19, Nevada, Ryan and the other staff at 32 Lakes have consistently offered the best customer service I've experienced in a long while. They also happen to offer some great drinks, baked goods, and pastries... which are all delicious. Always worth stopping by!

Great coffee and baked goods. Update - 5/5 as per response below, I will look into the origin. But I wasn’t able to find details myself and on the bag of “Hooked Medium” I purchased it is not marked on the bag. Still...great coffee and I am very happy with the quality even in my drip machine. —————— My original review.....3/5 Unfortunately, not one person could tell me WHERE their coffee was from, nor does their website, coffee bags or any where online. I would like to buy more but as a coffee nut, I like to know exactly what country my coffee is from ETC and these people couldn’t tell me anything. Very VERY disappointed to see such ambiguity around their “single origin” coffee.

Excellent coffee indeed - well balanced and not over-roasted. Our local accommodation provided their espresso beans and I ran it through a manual espresso machine. Looked forward to it every morning. The shop itself is minimalistic with clues from the Bauhaus which was very pleasant. Nice staff and friendly owner completed the experience.

Grand space with great coffee. They offer house made cashew milk. Never had corn bread for breakfast but it is delicious. Great space for a party or event.

I went to cafe to buy a cake, was in a rush. There was a family of 4 in front of me. I asked how long it might take to wait. A girl told me to go outside and wait. Very rude, did not expect that. Will NEVER EVER come back and NEVER recommend it to anybody.

A must stop if your looking for coffee craft and an attention to the art of caffeinated beverages. The best Americano I’ve had in a long time, and the baking is quite exceptional. An unexpected little gem in a remote coastal location. The level of which is sought after and rarely executed on with success even in larger cities....well done!

Excellent brewed coffee. Great little bakery (the only quality one in town that we found). Love the baguettes (get there early!) & the vegan granola bar. More vegan pastries (scones, muffins, etc.) would be amazing.

My favorite place to get a truly delicious cup of coffee. Their americanos are always made to perfection and their drip coffee is fantastic as a result of the high quality beans used. I also really appreciate how they make their own nut milk because I cannot have dairy. Also, they are local so I feel that is also very important to support.

Lukewarm cappuccino - though the coffee used was good. Smallest cappuccino I’ve had in ages. Little seating available. The front window bench is cold and is not stable. The guy on the other side wobbled it constantly without meaning to. Food was good but not noteworthy.

We've been trying to find waffles for the last 11 days in Canada - everywhere seems to do pastries or egg Benny. When we walked into this lovely clean, bright, modern cafe and saw them on the menu we couldn't believe our eyes. Coffee really was so good, full of flavour, the waffles were fantastic and the ladies who were working on a Sunday could not have been more helpful. Do wish I could have gone back for their lunches.

My husband and I went to 32 Lakes and Bakery today. The owners are a nice, friendly and welcoming couple. Working at coffee shops during uni, I've become accustomed to a good cup of coffee and theirs was perfect! Their sourdough bread is baked fresh and it is delicious! The atmosphere is inviting with great big windows to let in all the sunlight--it makes me feel like I'm in my home city!

Delicious coffee, gorgeous space and the loveliest service. There will be a line since it is so popular but it is speedy and worth it. Don't leave without a treat to go with your drink! We had the savory salt and pepper biscuit and sausage rolls which were so delicious- perfect textures/mouth feel. But I am dying to try the granola and macarons -
