I've got to admit...I'm VERY impressed with the increased quality and selection here lately. I was a little concerned when the store changed hands and it first became "Brandon's " but he has certainly stepped up his game! I have one issue though, and unfortunately its a recurring one.......pricing and/or checkout errors ie. goods are priced differently on the shelves than in the flyer OR markdowns are missed when scanning at checkout. It happens often enough that I check my receipt before I leave the parking lot....1 in 4 times I'm headed back in with a dispute, and I hate going back in ESPECIALLY now with COVID restrictions in place. A BIG plus, though, is that they've brought back the flyer at No Frills which makes these situations much easier to resolve. Good prices AND price matching AND Optimum makes this our grocery store of choice in Port Colborne.

Store was clean and had everything in stock that we were looking for. There was a long line-up to checkout, but they did have 3 cashiers on duty. Convenient location. The parking is a little small and it can be hard to navigate when it's busy.

Had to change my review. This place has really declined - they hardly have any flyer items or fresh produce in stock. I found out that management recently changed - definitely not for the better, this place used to be great.

It saddens me to report this but.. my husband misplaced his phone so we tracked it threw the phone manufacturer and located it at The Brandon No Frills in Port Colborne..and he identified the young man who took his cart... not only was the staff incredibly rude but they wouldn't assist my husband in the matter they kept being rude to my husband and didn't question the young man in question...calling him a lier even though he had proof of the phone location. They assumed my husband was in the wrong ...shame on the staff of not doing a investigation on the matter and shame on the young man who lied

The staff was helpful and friendly. They do a great job in produce. The company buys the best and has high standards. All fruits/veg's are fresh with exception of one rolling shelf of a few items that are about to expire but I've bought those, as well, and they are always excellent. I went shopping on Thursday after the daily delivery. The shelves are always stocked full including PC products. This store is AAA! And, I use my real name, not some fake name like "Candi Apple" that writes fake reviews all over Google and Facebook.

This No Frills, along with the one in Port Dover, are my favorites. Friendly Sales Associates. Store is bright. Layout works well for Covid guidelines regarding social distancing and traffic glow. And today there were lots of bargains!!! Always happy when shopping at these two locations.

In my opinion No-Frills has below average produce that lasts no more than two days for me and items on sale usually have date stamps ready or set to expire soon. Cashiers are generally rude and uncaring in my opinion. There have also been occasions where the featured item on the front page of their flyer was never in stock and excuses were made all week as to the arrival or non-arrival I.E. Shrimp and chicken breasts just recently. Sobey's is much, much nicer and the produce is top notch there.

They do not accept Visa, just master card, they no longer provide boxes, which is totally a corporate cash grab to try and make you buy bags. The last visit the vegetables weren't in great shape and this visit they were out of some of the things I was looking for. Not a terribly big deal, just and inconvenience

We do the majority of our shopping there, and I love and use the PC Plus points. The store is clean and the staff is friendly and helpful. However, sometimes I am not able to get items there that I had previously been able to and will need to go to other stores. That is irritating. Also they frequently move stock around which can also be frustrating especially if you have difficulty walking.

This location is becoming more undesirable each week. I now have to go elsewhere for common items like grapes and garbage bags! Sale items are stocked late and don't even think to ask the staff as they roll their eyes. The cashiers are always friendly though. If this is the direction of the new management, I'm likely to just ignore this place entirely.

I like this store because of the good quality and low prices. However, the washroom last week was absolulely disgusting. l passed this on to the cashier. Her reply was" l didn't know we had a washroom." She said that they had an outside company service the washroom(that she didn't know existed). l waited a few minutes to see if she contacted anyone and do not believe she did. l hope the washroom is clean now, as the store is spotless and has a great reputation. l will continue to shop at Brandon's No Frills but please check the washrooms hourly or at least act on a complaint.

I reside in Fort Erie ON...AND have been obtaining supplies since 2005 at a store of the same in Fort Erie ever since. Have recently been picking up supplies as I pass through Port Colbourn and have found that..... The No Frills in Port has the items they have on sale covered each week by having ample supply. For reasons I can't explain much better quality produce that lasts for days and keeps fresh whereas always been throwing out produce a few days after purchase at the NF FT Erie Why? This was happening on a regular basisfood is a costly investment these days and I simply should not have to throw out produce I paid good money for only 2 to 3 days layer from date of purchase.... I am a frugal purchaser, not into wasting time nor money.... I don't mind paying more if I am receiving great value for my money... It is not always about price with me it is about quality of goods purchased....So with that said I and running a test to see how the produce stands up from NF PC. SO FAR I AM IMPRESSED. So I give the store 4 stars first round....The store seems to be well stocked and sale items readily available....with more instore specials of items I like and use regularly.....NMJ.....Radio Personality.....

I had a hard time deciding between 2 or 3 stars. We came into the store for just a couple things (while we are at a cottage) that we didn't bring with us. First the morning glory muffins that I love were on the shelf and dated for best before the 14th (today is the 18th) plus there were other muffins past due as well. Then we went to pick up some rolls for dinner and there wasn't ANY! We had bread at the cottage so we settled on that. The redeeming thing that I did see that really went above is when I saw a cashier run a bunch of bananas out to a customer. Way to go!

First time visiting this location. Store was clean and organized. Disappointing to not see any arrows on the floor to promote physical distancing. Cashiers were limited. Had to wait longer than expected to get a cashier even though there was one person ahead of me.

Was there today, no wipes to clean carts and carts in rough shape. 1st 3 plastic produce bag holders empty. Man walking around with no mask and when I said something to an employee I was told they can't say anything only management can and wouldn't let management be aware. And everyone wonders why covid numbers are going up.

in these times, they are letting way too many people in the store,, I was there around 11am April 4th, and you could barely go down any aisle without at least 3 or 4 customers to pass

Poor service from manager and worker. Customer asked for full chicken to one worker. Worker contacted his supervisor and both were present to explain non-availability of chicken. However both cared less and laughed at the request made by the customer and said come tomorrow you will have full chicken. Availability of chicken is not much of a concern but both attitude and body language to customer made to feel that there is no need to shop at No frills.

I only shopped here once as visiting a friend but would not shop there again. The shopping carts are not cleaned or free like they are in Fort Erie, you don't see staff around to ask questions so I can't say if they are friendly, knowledgeable or anything, the store was busy so maybe that is why it didn't look clean. Sorry I would not recommend this store. They need to clean their carts, as well as be fee and have sanitizer at the front door too I don't think Fort Erie is the only store that dies this? Or maybe they r and other stores need to follow their safety rules.

Disappointed that the shelves were so bare when seniors are supposed to shop ! NO BREAD, . They Never have enough cashiers on duty even on pension days. The crunch at the end of the checkout is frustrating. too. You can barely turn the shopping cart around. Get some management !!! You really need to get stock help. I didn't get 5 items I had on a 10 item list. All sale items empty on Friday morning already . well, I shopped there again today. most flyer items GONE but will be restocked the day after the flyer expires !put the proper item on the shelf where the proper price is.I just picked up a package of paper towels and it was 6 dollars more than the shelf price. please try to get a handle on these problems or I suggest travelling ton Welland to shop !

Not thrilled by my experiences here. Decent enough foodstuffs and prices, but quality lacks in overall shopping experience. Doesn't seem the cleanest, and it's always difficult to find assistance in locating odd items.

Loved this store for cleanliness and overall stock etc. However, will no longer be shopping here due to the inconvenient weeknight hours. Was totally shocked when I arrived at 7:45 pm after work and they announced about two minutes later that the store was closing for the night. Would hope that they would at least stay open til 9 on the night the flyer comes out. Now shopping at the next closest no frills which is open til 9.

One of the only places to buy Swiss Chalet Dipping Sauce mix! It's the best, especially when you can't get to the real restaurant. Definitely a no frills grocery store, but who cares? Went to the one in Pt. Colborne, Ontario.
