I don’t know how we got so lucky to have found the absolute best baker locally but we did! We needed a vegan gluten-free cake for our daughters birthday. It was clear from Ali’s immediate reply that she had experience in this area and had no trouble meeting dietary restrictions. In fact, the gorgeous cake from Ali Bakes Cakes ended up being my daughter’s favorite birthday cake ever. Thank you, Ali, for being so accommodating and for the delicious result!

The cake was AMAZING I found Ali on Instagram and immediately followed her. I wanted to find a cake person that was local. The treats looked amazing and also tasted amazing as well. She offered cupcake samples and we were sold. Her pricing was very reasonable, communication was great, we had a few changes and she was very open and adaptable to them. Our wedding cake turned out amazing several of our guests asked us where we got our cake from. We will definitely use her again!

Constructive Feedback

Donuts were dry and burned on the bottom. Did not look like picture at all. Cake was dry, icing too sweet. Maybe she's burnt out since these reviews are all 8 mths old. Inflexible on order changes.

Ali was absolutely amazing for our wedding cake. We chose to go simple but trust me when I say taste was not sacrificed. She made us a lemon cake with vanilla buttercream and coconut flakes, adding flowers matching our colors. She was fantastic to help navigate our plans and great at communicating with our chosen contact for delivery. We knew what was happening every step of the way. I only wish I could order some and have it shipped out to Alberta. I will always dream of this cake's amazing taste.

I am so glad I came across Ali's business! I booked her for our wedding (donuts and a small wedding cake) and her work is amazing! Not only did everything look great, but they tasted SO good! We had a few vegans attend the wedding and Ali offers vegan options, so it worked out perfectly. We rented the donut wall from Ali and used the donuts for guest favours as well. Family members have booked Ali for desserts as well and highly enjoyed everything she made! Thank you Ali - I look forward to booking with you again!!
