It's a small town Sobeys, but the layout is walking in feels so out of place with the rest of the stores. And while i was only there to pick up 5 common items for any grocery store to carry, i walked out with only 2 and went to another sobeys to finish my shopping.

Any dealing that we've had at the Deli counter have been fantastic. All the staff are extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. The cashiers at checkout are always smiling, friendly and make you feel like they appreciate your business. Great job!

I am impressed with not only the work that went into the Birthday Gift basket for our Father's birthday. Nod to Cory in Produce! The client services was extremely accommodating going above and beyond in ways I can't fit into one little review. This manager was Courteous, Mindful, Professional and rallied the kind of effort you just don't see these days. Our world is in crisis and it weighs heavy on us all. Today Justine saw our situation all the way through, likely handling other responsibilities simultaneously. Where customer services usually falls short, she rose to higher heights. If you think this review is embellished you'd be mistaken. Good service is harder and harder to find. This manager saw humans in need and met them. If I could tip, this would of been a 20% or higher scenario. Impeccable!

You can't go wrong with a place like sobeyw to get what you need I guess. Anything your needs or corner store had is just 1/8th of what variety you can have there. Different cultures in cuisine are easy access as well.

I don't know how this place got good reviews I used to deliver the milk here you're lucky you don't see the back of the store the fridge where they store the deli is disgusting the floor is black with mold and there's mouse poop in every corner. The old guy I think he's the manager was the most rood person I've met in my life he used to scream at everyone and call people retards all the time I asked my manager to stop delivering there it was the most stressful place of the day. I'll never shop here

Customer service farce. Waited at the seafood counter for a while as the staff, directly in front of me, discussed their weekend loudly enough for me to be able to relay their events if asked. Finally the dept. supervisor came to assist seeing my inability to get the other staff's attention.

I find that sobeys has barely no sales And their prices have double in the pass month making it so expensive for people on penisons And they know most people don't have cars to shop elsewhere super store still has sobeys Beaten where deals and prices are concern

Sobeys Pictou offers the friendly atmosphere of a small town grocery store. Staff are quick to ensure extra checkouts open if needed to make for fast checkout something that doesn't happen everywhere you go.

Went to pick up some prepared green/red pepper, onion & mushroom mix... the containers indicated that they were prepared yesterday. Found that the items were slimy so I didn't buy them... Proceeded to the fresh peppers, but found the price was too high. Skipped this and proceeded to bakery...was going to buy some muffins but they were already near the best before date...Gave up and went to the competition. Pictou Sobeys has let me down too many times with inferior products & overcharging!,

While I find the store well managed and well stocked, I have a complaint. The method of contacting staff is far too loud and the cashiers using it are poorly trained. They need to be told not to shout into the mic. Other Sobeys stores are able to modulate the sounds in the store to make shopping a more pleasurable experience. I try to shop at other stores whenever possible.

this is my first experience with a Canadian grocery store especially one in Nova Scotia so it's hard for me to compare and it's not probably fair to compare it to American grocery stores and places like Walmart Supercenter. To me the prices were on the high side even for Canadian dollars with your trading at $0.77 us. But this store had a very nice variety fresh produce and all the other grocery items one would expect. The store was very clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. I'm camping out at a Provincial park nearby and if I have an occasion to go back to replenish I will certainly go there
