Food and service is usually good. Sometimes there’s the one off bad experience but getting Acropole in pictou is always worth it in the end. The delivery people are always friendly even when super busy and food/delivery arrives in a good time!

The pizza was okay. Was quoted 45 minutes for delivery to pictou lodge and it took an hour and forty minutes to arrive. Pizza was barely warm when it got here. Called and spoke with them and they were not at all willing to make the situation better.

Probably the best sauce I've ever had. The outer edge crust was done perfectly. My only issue was with the base crust being a little too thick. I think with a slightly thinner crust this would be the best pizza globally.

A good friend of mine, and a local Pictou boy to be noted said you will never have a pizza as good as a Pictou county pizza. Well he is so correct. What a flavour and that brown sauce!!! I’ll be back!

Very disappointed the pizza was soggy Cheese was more like cream cheese I added one topping of hamburger that was 4.75 and they put a few tiny specks of hamburger on it talk about being cheap . I've had pizza in n.b.other provinces and this was not a good pizza even tho We are limited here in pictou As much as I dont like sobeys I'll waste My money on a premade pizza there atleast it tastes like pizza. If the ratings on here had a half star I would Have giving them it.sorry I'm honest. But the staff was very polite I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE

So we had to try the Donair while visiting NS. Also, Pictou County is known for pizza so my husband got a slice of the pepperoni (based on what we were told by a local). The pizza was great, the Donair was ridiculously huge (large donair add cheese) and fed both my husband and I for 2 meals. Their donair sauce was nice and garlicky and we had plenty to cover the sandwich. I recommend sauce on the side, as it is very messy.

You can buy a hot slice of pizza out of the display case and go which is really easy and convenient. The customer service could be improved. The pizza is really good and the slice a generous size.

Pizza tasted great, had a unique “brown sauce” that is not your standard pizza sauce. It was cool for a change but I think I would prefer regular pizza sauce. The pizza was good, however there weren’t an abundance of toppings, and there was WAY to much cheese for my personal preference. Equivalent to ordering extra or even double cheese from most pizza joints. Open late and friendly staff.

We were only in the area for one night staying at a spot some distance from the restaurant. These guys delivered it to us and threw in some extra donair sauce! I tried to tip but the driver wouldn’t take it saying not to worry. The pizza was phenomenal. These guys cut no corners using fresh ingredients. We ate a woks pizza. It was incredible!

I have never been to this store that I have not received quick, courteous service. I don't know when someone would have to wait, or find the staff fooling around. Never happened to me. Nice people, great pizza.

The only good thing about acropole is the Delivery and the ones who deliver. Now I'll admit I could have just hung up and said no, but at the moment I was upset. On the Google page, when you look at their menu it mentions. 12 dollars minimum. Which I knew since atleast July 2020. And there's two exact tax in 12 dollar items! So I decided I chose one, I called. And I was told by a lady that it was 13 dollars. I was a little annoyed, no one knew when this changed? I asked her, and the delivery guy afterwards. I was upset and spent another 5.50 on half cooked soggy onion rings. I know it's not ALOT of money. But I'm a kid trying to save up for college. And I don't always got time to grab meals for work, but the convenience of not paying 20 dollars for soggy onion rings, and a decent meal is nice.

A friend brought me a small donair back to halifax yesterday, it was HUGE, and by far the best donair i have ever eaten. The meat has a nice spice and flavor, the sauce was thick and tangy and the pita was fresh thicker then most and appeard to be hand made. I am sold 100% on this donair! Well done!!!!
